(Idea: What do you think of me enlarging the sides, putting in some cyberscape with some dead bloodsmattered bodies on the ground, and animating his beam as well as several other beams coming from the hole-prtrusions on his shoulder?) Also: Does anyone besides me think my signatures pretty nifty on this one?

yes your right.... and i have a sneaking suspicion you didnt use paint for this, it look completely different than your others You did that on purpose, right?

*Rolls for Forum Lore*: I believe Ran made those. I remember he had like a billion of them, they all looked similar, with the abstract bgs. He eventualy did some all pixel works, wich also resemble those little chibis you have there. Scarlet Elv? Where does that come from? Nothing like her really. Ran doesnt make them anymore I think.

You know, 12 colors, not so hard. I didn't set out to save colors, I just made sure I didn't use unneccesary ones. Its surprising, if you use the right colors, you dont really need all that many. Untill I checked, I was actualy under the impression of more like 15 colors. Imagine my delight when it was only 12! (OK, granted, that might not delight many people...But entertain me here)

New cyber punk at bottom Small, easy peice. Trying to ease back into pixelart again, just thought I'd share a little doodle. :D I used 15 colors, and AA'd it. Not much dither. Enjoy. :wink: OH DEAR HERE'S ANOTHER! A small scene, just another practice. Probably about an hours work. A surprising 12 colors. :) And a Wip cyber punk who I may never finish:

You took my meaningful pillowshading critique, DH <___<. Pah. Arr! And you too TJ! I was going to say something about the black lines... For gods sake. I'd venture to say this you best piece, aside from my would be critiques of pillowshading and black linery, its tough too think of something... Other than perhaps doing something other than runescape? Its interesting to see this peice compared to your others. In some respects, your texture and such, you've made impressive improvment, but in others, your still basicaly the same. It seems like an inbetween work, a skill development peice basically. Props. Your peices arn't allways my taste, but the respect you have is earned by those who do like your style. :wink:

Oh fine, I'm not proud of it, but 32 colors. Fixed the eye. I think I've hit a breakthrough with this shading on the armour- new technique for my reportoire!

Thought I'd post this update, this armour is giving me artist's high, if you know what I mean. If you don't, I pity you. I feel great.
