Your strokes look timid, squiggly. Low tones can be good, but it the strokes have to be bold and descisive. Also, I don't really see this as abstract...yet. The face seems to be a little, yes, but then your basicaly recreating the rest true to life, just a little distorted is all. If its going to be abstract, make sure the same intensity of abstract is kept throughout the piece. Thanks, Godslayer.

Why, hello godSlayer. Haven't changed I see :D Remember people that this was done in MS paint, the quality would have been better if done in PS or a program like it. IMO, the program has nothing to do with it.

Yesh. Pixel art is about quality, not quantity. For me, THIS is pixelart: http://ada.untergrund.net/logogallery.php The only unfortuanate thing about the demoscene is that they occaisonaly trace, but demosceners are probably the best pixelists out there (the legit ones)

Its certainly big...but its not really beautiful...I mean its got impressive dimentions, but I'd rather look at really well done smaller pieces.

This is a WIP thread for my new WIP, in case you couldn't figure out. So, lets get on to it: First satges. Decided to make this an experiment on ambient lighting. Finished neck, arms, started swords. 11 colors so far. I'll update every now and then till I'm finished.

I like to think I started the movement :P

I'm sorry GS, but I've always wanted to question this; What's your strange obsession with Anti-Aliasing? :P I wouldnt be so obsessed if more people did it, but since they don't, I have to keep talking about it.

Sad for sig buyers though. The only reason I ever made sigs runescape related for someone was so I could get enough RS gp to host my own competition and base it on artistic merit, now I have to do it another way...I'm sure they'll be quite a few, who wilst not depndant on the income, think it the only reason to make a great sig for others. How many artists will leave this site with no reason to come here? The community isn't that great, why not go to a real art site?

Heres how I would pixel someone getting ice barraged. In fact, I might use this in a sig if I had the patience to do the rest. Not really a real looking ice, but you know what it is:

I've never really tried, but I've seen it done somewhere before, so I believe I have an inkling. Wait till I get home from school, I'll see if I can make an example.
