Bought a Green H'ween Mask today: Set this goal on February 1, 2009 starting with 1.5m gp and cutting a ton of yews. I also went from 81 --> 89 wc in the process.

I GOT IT. I FINALLY GOT IT. And I have a story to tell. : So I logged into w75, and I saw this guy wearing a green h'ween mask by the Edgeville yews. I ask him if I can purchase his mask for 9.4m. He said he got it for 9.65m earlier this week, and said that if I wanted to buy the mask, it'd have to be a greater offer than 9.65m. Luckily, I spent all of yesterday chopping yews, and I had about 650 yews in the bank to sell. So I tell him that I have some cash in the GE (I had a 9.4m offer for the mask in the GE at the time) and I'll be right back in 3 minutes. So I teleported to Varrock and ran to the GE. I withdrew my 9.4m and sold my 650 yews for 280k so now I have about 9.7m (I had some extra cash in the bank).[hide=][/hide]I ran back to the Edgeville yews where the guy was standing and traded him. He took off the mask and put it up in the trade box. I put up 9,650,000gp. AND THEN THE TRADE LIMIT BLOCKED IT. IT SAID I WAS OVER THE LIMIT BY 102,930gp! I'm like, "Wtf." If I take down that amount, I'd be paying 9,547,070gp for the mask. So I exited the trade box, and asked him if he'd be willing to sell it to me for the 9,547,070. He thought about it for a moment and said it'd be alright. (OMFG!)[hide=] [/hide]And then I offered to pay 52,930gp in intervals of 15 minutes (10k trade limit) to pay for the 9.6m, but he insisted that I keep the money and the trade was fine. I finally have it. [hide=] [/hide] I bought a Green H'ween Mask for 9,547,070gp on March 31, 2009. \ Lemme go find the date for when I set this goal... Ah, found it: FEBRUARY 1, 2009.
