thought you probably would know what to train on, but you only had 8 str, so you never know :
-
Fury ammy, definitely. Mud staff/ crystal bow perhaps?
-
Scimmy is best in my opinion. Train on low lvled monsters, I recommend chickens to start, so you can get feathers and make some money. Don't bother with black weapons, by the time you get one you could have trained up to mith anyway.
-
Use rune armour. Killing armour is the fastest way to get tokens. I recommend using a hally to kill them, they hit up to 13, but you could melee with armour and still be fine with some food. Its not that likely that you will lose a piece, I have a couple of rune defenders and haven't lost any yet.

I wanna get to level 60 mining but where and how?
ishepp replied to poopytroopy's topic in Help and Advice
F2P, alkarid if you want to mine and drop iron, which is the fastest way. South east varrock mine to bank iron. Or, dwarven mines to mine coal or iron. -
You can do barrows with those levels. I suggest wearing rune or black hide body and legs. You can still hit with your mage through these. Other than this get a good mage attack bonus, god cape, mystic gloves, wizard boots if you can afford, farseer, glory. Mage all except ahrims, range him wearing black hides and use good arrows. I use rune arrows and he goes down so fast its ridiculous. You should definitely pray through your first few goes. Melee in the tunnels, until the 6th brother, then put your mage back on and use pray pots. The tunnels take a few runs to get used to, gotta remember the way out too, unless your gonna tele each time. If you've done aid of myreque you can use the bank in burgh de rott, very useful for barrows, just gotta use a pot to recharge prayer. Read the tipit guide and the ones in the archive of wisdom too. Finally good luck, I managed to get a greataxe on my first run, which was yesterday :D . Today I died to guthan in the tunnel lol, got koed with 23 20, so watch your prayer, it drains fast. Keep hp and prayer up until you've done enough runs to be confident.

I got to 50 range in f2p on hill giants, but it depends if you want pray xp or not. Good xp anyway.
-
For you mossies or hill giants are best. Toss up between crandor or varrock sewers for mossies, I always used sewers, easier safe spots for range.

Whats a High level monster i could solo with my stats?
ishepp replied to Dragon_Scyth's topic in Help and Advice
No you wouldn't be able to solo king dags. For a start you need more than 1 person just to get in lol. And you need team experience before you have a chance of soloing (usually rex). You could solo the giant mole, dharoks is good for that I believe. KQ is too hard I think, KBD maybe, don't know much about him really. -
You keep anything you took in, unless you ate it
-
if you post a question people will reply on the thread, not pm or email you. Nonmembers can use any trimmed or god armours from treasure trails. Thats about it really lol. The rest is mostly junk
-
I've posted a few times on this since getting f2p 70 craft. The cheapest way is to mine clay in the guild and make bowls. The fastest way is to buy hides and craft them. Thats the long and the short of it, forget tiaras unless you really need mining and smithing xp its not worth the effort, bowls are much faster xp and hides are even faster.

it may be worth investing in a smaller rare (easter or pumpkin) just to protect yourself from a rare price surge. To make more money mine addy. world hop and mine and bank. If you want to make bars they sell well too. To make bars just take 20 ores into the mining guild with a fire staff pick and 20 nats. It will be better money then f2p fishing or wc
-
finished it yesterday with 53 agility 50 thieving. Had to drop food for quest items in the end, it wasn't too hard.
-
ty for the info. No need to take risk of bringing it then :D
-
I suggest editing the picture so theres less wasted space. Line up the chat at the bottom, move the text from the left onto the image where the grass is, make the pic smaller so that the stats are by the cookie line. etc... Hope you understood what i'm getting at
-
This is how i got 72 to 85 in f2p. Also, I took 20 addy ores at a time to the mining guild and mined coal to superheat. 120 coal in 1 trip isn't bad. But you do need 70 smithing as well to do this. In my opinion, F2P rune mining isn't all its made out to be, unless you have good combat (definitely 100+) or pkers are too much trouble. I mined about 100 rune ores before I got bored and went for 99 cooking instead. Still nice achievement to have though :D
-
It will reduce considerably your attack and def stats. Use a restore pot afterwards if you are going straight into combat, or just wait until it goes up again.
-
Does the black mask effect for slayer (+15% stats) apply to range as well? Got a hellhound task and I want to range seeing as I haven't done regicide for d hally, which I would have preferred.
-
I'm lvl 34 agility, and want to get to 50+. Wondering if anyone can tell me more about the pyramid, what to bring, how to get there, and whether its worth the trip instead of doing barbarian laps. Thanks in advance
-
This is right. King scorpions are lvl 32 so you gotta be 64. The doubling rule applies to any aggresive monster.
-
I got to around 50 posts before I found the quote button. Previously I copied the text and added BB tabs around it, and put their name in.
-
It says 19kb if you go to the properties of the pic.
