  1. I kicked myself SO HARD when I found out how to safespot Sara. That was a legitimate revolutionary method that everyone had overlooked. I'm not letting that happen again. Chances are slim you discovered that first. I bet at least 50 people knew about that first. But of course, they didn't dare share it, but it had to get out eventually. The sara safespot method spread like a plague. I didn't say I knew about it first. I didn't find out until, I kid you not, the night it got deleted. I went out, saw someone doing it while I was getting KC, found an empty world, went in, and it didn't work. Found out later it was because they deleted the safespot while I was getting KC.

  3. Steam is water and fine. There are no combo staffs involving air runes. Just use an air staff and some fire runes for fire wave. It does enough damage more than air wave that it's worth the extra cost. Faster exp, more dragon bones and hides per blood rune...
  4. That's a yes, thanks. I'll test that out in a bit.
  5. I think he forgot that you also need blue charms lol
  6. I can't tell if you've REALLY realized that your method is crap, or if you're still clinging to it and trying to get us to shut up about it. Either way, I kind of like this thread anyway. Lots of discussion about thinking outside the box summoning training. Does anyone doubt now that it was making some stupid scrolls? Maybe he was doing Talon Beast scrolls. I suspect the GE runs dry of those pouches pretty quick, and then you have to junk trade them. Yeah, you know, you might be right. People who lie about discovering magic training methods and taunt people about them are the kind of people who don't really fit in anywhere.
  7. Inu, does it involve shoving the familiar into a place where it won't fit and then refreshing it? Or ending a round like that?
  8. Maces are more accurate than daggers, especially when we consider that most armor is weaker to crush.
  9. You've gained 36k summoning xp in the last month, how much did you test it? The same way as any other way of summoning - Getting the actual XP is the last step, and very predictable. Getting the things to get the XP is the time consuming process. I have around 200k XP banked - like I said, I haven't tested it much. Just forget it, I guess I'll do what everone's recommending and drop it. I'm not lying though, and I have tested it. But it doesn't work with a lot of people, so its not going to be told. I'll be ignoring any further posts and PMs about it. Have you forgotten the part where you run things to the obelisk? Making boil scrolls might be incredible exp until you consider that you can only do maybe 15k of them an hour. That's under 15k exp. And even so, you're not getting enough pouches for that off the GE even for one person, forget five. Add to that the fact that if the price of the scrolls get nerfed you're out a TON of money, and this method just keeps looking worse. Seriously, there is NOTHING else he could be talking about. There are enough worlds that five people ruining a method could only happen on the GE. The only summoning exp that can be bought from the GE is pouches to scrolls. I'd love to hear any more theories, but until I do I'm considering this closed and compfreak an idiot.
  10. The more you say, the more I'm inclined to believe that everything you say is an exaggeration. You do not get 800 crimsons an hour bursting rock lobsters. That's ridiculous.
  11. It would take right around 70 blues per hour to get 50k exp/hour, assuming one can craft 1.2k pouches in an hour. Not impossible, but definitely unlikely. It would definitely be a monster that few people have ever killed in any significant amount- you would notice pretty quickly getting more than one blue charm a minute.
  12. Bone bolts are way WAY better than iron arrows. Void is totally worth it, though I'm not sure how it does at low ranged levels. I know that at 90+ ranged it makes all other ranged gear obsolete, though.
  13. Math indicates that even if geyser titan pouches were easy to get in large numbers, it would only be possible to gain well under 20k exp/hour transforming them into scrolls. We are not looking at scroll crafting here. Looking at using scrolls, I doubt it could gain much exp. I thought about using summoning potion to repeatedly cast fruitfall, but the scroll gives like 1.4exp- you'd have to do tens of thousands of scrolls an hour. Impossible. Even the talon beast scroll, which is the highest exp yield and, incidentally, won't make any money, would take almost 5000 casts an hour to live up to this method.
  14. Hmm... That might be something there- what if there's a monster that drops a high yield of blue charms that has yet to be discovered? I know that aberrants (even with a cannon), dark beasts (best blue charms in the game that I'm aware of) and kalphites (with a cannon) fall short of the exp/hour given in this method, but... Also, making scrolls and using them as junk seems likely, especially since a few people knowing about it would extremely quickly destroy the method. It's such a minute exp yield though, I think it almost has to be faster to get charms from waterfiends.
  15. I was referring to the summon healing, just to prove I at least had a clue about what I was talking about  Let's just let this topic quietly die now... Not a chance.
  16. Here are a couple of quotes from Help + Advice that rather caught my interest. I'm hoping more people here feel the same, and would be interested in participating in a brainstorm on how this wonder method of training summoning could possibly work. Here are a couple of givens: It's unlikely that it involves running pouches at obelisks, or a 15 minute test would be wildly inefficient. Of course, it isn't ruled out, but I suspect it involves some angle of summoning that we haven't considered yet- using scrolls or abilities, for example. It's boring (so probably nothing like a monster that can be quickly and easily killed for tons of crimson charms an hour). If anyone has any ideas, even something vague like "maybe it involves using scrolls" (but not that because we've covered that), please post them here. I'm willing to research whatever we come up with, and I'll be brainstorming too.
  17. Ice gloves aren't required if you just want to use magic on him.
  18. Tell ya what: you tell me your secret familiar healing technique (I'm not going to tell anyone- I kept prayer flashing secret for over a year before someone else posted a guide on it) and I'll edit my post. I still think you must be mistaken though...
  19. Nobody smart enough to think of this would be stupid enough to randomly drop hints about it on a forum. This is either a lie or a math error.
  20. I'm working on getting all my skills to 80, and am not 100% sure on how to do these. I excluded skills I don't have to 80 yet that I already know exactly how to do (80 agility and firemaking are not hard to figure out, for example). 77/80 crafting- This one I'm least sure on. I was thinking emerald or ruby bracelets. Any insight on good crafting training methods for me? 74/80 herblore- I was thinking prayer pots or ranged pots, after checking into prices. Anyone got a good potion for lowish cost/exp? 72/80 construction- Oak larders right? Anything better than that? Flatpacks that sell, etc? 75/80 smithing- I was going to use the blast furnace to make mith bolts, that's still the best right? Thanks to anyone who lends their insight.
  21. Again, if everyone knows what they're doing, nobody needs 20 seconds of the boss sitting still. You should never, ever be attacked by her. That said, people make mistakes. Let's say every five kills I take a 40 from her because I was careless, and let's say that the ZGS would ALWAYS protect me from this (in reality I take much less than 40 damage every 5 kills from the boss, and when I do it's not like a ZGS would likely have helped). In five kills I get five SGS specs. If every one does a 20 (usually I do a lot more), that's 50 hp AND 25 prayer. Usually I hit at least 40 with my spec, so to be more realistic I would get 100hp and 50 prayer. If you have somebody on your team who is using significantly less supplies because of ZGS specs, they need a lot more practice at Saradomin. You should not be getting hit, period.
  22. I actually prefer SGS for most team bosses too- heal on the minis and you're looking at saving a TON of brew and restore. With my unicorn and SGS at Sara, I basically just didn't use any brew for the majority of the trip. I am aware of that. But look at Zamorak gs: If you stop "sara boss" for 20 sec = That's saving everyone in a team from more damage. So i think ZGS beats SGS at sara If the team knows how to run and take care of themselves, freezing the boss won't help anything but saving run energy. If the whole team also has SGSs, then they will actually gain HP and prayer, compensating for the damage the minis do and the prayer used while fighting.

  24. I'm inclined to say that you're lying. I can't imagine what you do to last that much longer than me or anyone else I've heard of O_o
