Bandos gear
Sure, just, after they've already gotten a fury and zerker, and they'll sell it if they need the cash for herblore or prayer.

Bandos gear
It's also about 1/4 the price of Bandos for the same strength bonus. Buy it. This. How do people look at Bandos and zerker ring and decide Bandos is the one they want? Less defense than barrows, less str bonus than zerker, and more expensive than zerker.

Are you ready for new high level Slayer content?
This is simply caused by not enough boss monsters in the game. There are very few cost-effective bosses to fight, and Bandos is one of the top ones, so he's packed. Nex was a good step, we need more stuff like that to keep 138s with divines occupied so no monster ends up stupidly overcamped.

That's an advantage to training slayer, not an advantage for having slayer levels. 99 slayer doesn't help me get effigies any faster than someone with 1 slayer. It does if you're cannoning giant cave crawlers for the effigies. Fair enough. The highest level non-dungeoneering slayer benefit is 35 for Smoking Kills and access to the cannonable cave crawlers. Woo, high level rewards ftw!

It's the difference between wanting to get the levels (which slayer is great at- it's a fun skill), and wanting to USE the levels. Rewards are abilities unlocked by the skill that you want to use outside of training the skill. Herblore's rewards are untradable potions, dungeoneering has chaotics and frost dragons, summoning has pack yaks and steel titans... slayer has dark beasts. Nobody ever would want to kill dark beasts off task. Abbys are similarly poor for camping, as are all of the other slayer monsters. Every single one is outdated and inferior to newer, shinier monsters that for some bizarre reason don't require slayer levels, as if Jagex forgot about that entire skill about unlocking better monsters to kill. Fun makes us want to train, but it doesn't provide any reward after we've stopped training. That's an important distinction.

I agree that slayer is probably not as desperately lacking in content as other skills that aren't so fun to train like firemaking, but it is perhaps the most popular of the useless skills, so it makes sense that it would be targeted first. Any skill becoming more useful is a plus in my book, I'm not going to sit here looking a gift horse in the mouth because I feel like cooking could do better with an update than slayer.

Dwarves don't mind magic and even like Superheat Item. It's actually the Barbarians who are anti-magic. They almost wiped out the Imcando Dwarves because they used Superheat Item. the imcando dwarves use magic, the normal ones don't. Hence the whole refusal to make dragon crossbows cause of magic logs etc. In an ancient postbag, someone asked an ice mountain dwarf why the dwarven mine doesn't have a furnace, and how they do their smithing. The dwarf replied that all dwarves are taught the superheat item spell from a young age. Pretty sure dwarves also have nature runes in their drop tables. Stop making stuff up.

Wait, exp/hour and money/hour are opinions? That's new.

Dungeoneering - Shared Exp or No?
The only point to ever turning off shared exp would be if you're a pure or otherwise have some reason not to want exp in a certain skill (like some people plan out getting 13371337 exp in a skill or whatever). Turning it off does not increase the exp you get at all, it just stops you getting exp from the actions of others.

Are you ready for new high level Slayer content?
I'll address this first- absolutely. You may notice I'm 99 slayer, and I did that because I wanted an impressive, good looking cape that I could enjoy getting. For that purpose, no skill better fit my purposes than slayer. For the rest of your post- I agree that every skill you listed there is essentially useless besides doing stuff in dungeoneering (slayer has that as well, by the way) and opening effigies, and maybe a couple of other fringe benefits here and there. I see that as a problem. Why would there be skills that don't benefit someone for training them? The whole concept is foreign to me. If the skill is useless, surely it should be renovated? Surely somebody with a 99 that I don't have should have some kind of benefit I wish I had too? As it is the majority of 99s are instead tokens of wasted time. In this respect, summoning is perhaps the most well-designed skill in the game. All the way up to 99 it keeps on making the player more and more powerful, up to unicorns at 88 that provide stackable healing, to pack yaks at 96 that allow banking from anywhere, to steel titans at 99 that are capable of tearing through low defense monsters with their scroll effect. If I had my way, the very next project taken on by every Jagex developer would be making the rest of the skills like that, before any other content was developed. It's the most pressing issue in the game.

Here's my beef: we have an entire skill whose rewards come solely from being able to kill monsters exclusive to people who have trained the skill. There is no point in a skill like that, at all, if there are better monsters than the ones that can be killed with the skill. Yes, training slayer is fun, but that doesn't make it useful. It's right down there with firemaking, cooking, etc. as far as ultimately being a waste of time to level.

Which void helm is most worthwhile?
Oh, so a level 99 ranger will have the same max as a level 1 ranger given the same ranged strength bonus? Except the level 1 range can use the same armor :P (JK, i know that range level is a factor for void armor) No, see, he was saying that a bonus ranged level doesn't mean a damage bonus. By that logic, bronze arrows would ALWAYS have the same max from 1-99 ranged. Has nothing to do with armor, armor doesn't boost max hit.

...Huh? Slayer has rewards? Last I checked slayer monsters were all entirely outclassed by monsters without slayer requirements like frost dragons and TDs.

Just somethign about Dungeoneering.
The hood's main usefulness is speeding up floors. An extremely common command from a keyer is to make something "hoodsafe," and if someone is unhooded it will often instead have to be cleared. Much more effective for everyone to be able to ignore a large portion of monsters if they aren't in a GD. It also wastes a lot of food to have all the monsters piling you all the time.

Bandos
Hard to say. I'd probably get BCP and then tassets, and then as soon as I could sell those to get herblore high enough for extremes I'd do that. Then get Bandos back, and cash it out for 95 prayer next. I'm not very good at the whole deciding what levels to get first thing, when I was a low level there was a lot less fancy stuff to buy.

Bandos
The fury is cheaper per strength bonus than either Bandos piece, and also gives a significant prayer bonus. There is absolutely no reason to consider buying Bandos until you own a fury.
-
Bandos
You don't wear an amulet? If you really don't have a fury, that comes before Bandos. If you do have a fury, Bandos chestplate would be your next logical update. The extra prayer potion cost is extremely marginal, so I wouldn't worry about that.

Oh, I didn't realize Nex was already providing a reward for high level slayers. Wait, no, she just outclasses all of the slayer monsters that are supposed to be harder and more rewarding than monsters that don't require slayer.

SERIOUSLY. That was added so long ago.

Which void helm is most worthwhile?
It highly depends on what you're doing with it, but ranged is the biggest improvement over other equipment. Melee is good as well, and mage is crap. Worth noting that a lot of the time void is good for its ability to hybrid range/melee with the same armor, so getting both helms is a good idea.
