Runescape + directx = 3D runescape finally!
Well there are lots of ways they can get water to look good for RS. Why would they use tessellation when most of their target audience isn't going to have the required hardware, and when most of the art is supposed to have a low poly count. Why would you tessellate a cube for example? I don't know, maybe Jagex will. They do some pretty crazy stuff. Hopefully they might be prepping for console release in near future or cater for higher end pcs and attract a different audience but as you said can never be sure with jagex :P

tessellation requires a lot of GPU power, I doubt we'll see it in RS when Jagex tries to keep polygon counts low. I think we will -> There's a mod reply in comments somewhere saying he can't say much about the water atm, and it's mentioned briefly in the Q&A sessions

I'm looking more forward to Tessellation as you can see here: Which is present on the Runescape Dungeoneering trailer (and new water has been confirmed to be coming) this is why Jagex has added DX too if you ask me :P

It's pretty much the same right now with the settings maxed out, i'm experiencing lag when I shouldn't be as my computer can handle Crisis so why cant it handle Runescape?! I'm sure it's first update day loads for me, I guess they have future updates in mind see above :P

New water soon Interesting DX11 comes with Tessellation as you can see here: And what's on the dungeoneering trailer? ;) So it looks like we'll be getting some nice water soon but I have significantly longer periods of loading in dungeoneering when opening doors now with DX11 but not with OpenGL :(

Dungeoneering & System Updates?
this. Honestly though, its not that big a deal, nothing wrong with losing some xp..., but I wouldnt mind a 30 minute timer :? Fight caves is easier to save though, if you log out at wave 32 it's always going to be the same, the game just has to log you back in at wave 32 and spawn those monsters, with randomly generated scenarios with up to 64 rooms with 100s of room templates and thousands of combinations it's alot harder to store, and add the dropped items ontop of that. You'll have to allocate alot memory to that wouldn't you? I guess if Jagex can resolve this issue future randomly generated scenarios can also have this feature, but it's not as easy as saving fightcaves progress..

Graphical update *whistles* that explains the updated troll graphics- Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
They're probably counting a monster for each level a monster can have, and also a door challenge for each possible level. BS and lame if you ask me. Yep Jagex probably count from 1-104 in each skill for each door so 104 * the amount of skill doors, then the level monster ranges, just like hours of gameplay is ridiculous when its, "hours of lighting the same log over and over"- Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!

I've used the CLS at TDS it's awesome and the CLS Is also great for slayer tasks for things like dragons, as having a defender or something in the offhand slot, it's good of you don't have super antifire also, I haven't got a rapier although I could buy one now, I just don't think it's worth my points!- Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
