looks a little flat and lacking perspective but that'll come with practice try to make the face have a little emotion and be a focal point (the skull on his belt looks flat atm) I think a good tip is to avoid symmetry say if one side of the face has 2 teeth, do 1 on the otherside defining features, chipped tooth maybe, the ear ring is a nice touch. Another tip for you, buy some new pencils when I was into drawing I had a big set of Derwent graphic pencils similar to this http://www.nationalartcraft.com/images/sub-1638-07.jpg, it's a great variety of textures and thicknesses to build upon you can always layer over with a darker shade and start with lighter ones but contrast really helps bring out an image play with pressure, I can see from that you're using a B2-HB roughly! (mechanical pencils are even better but take some adjusting to) Lastly reference reference reference, draw at the computer with google images referencing if you need to it helps to reference, don't draw from memory :P For 16 Years old it's good though just keep at it.
  6. I prefer pcs to macs I've used macs frequently I will agree Windows 7 was inspired by the mac but the software readily available etc I just prefer computers it my preference, my design teacher a few years ago had never used a pc and only ever owned macs and he's the same as pc users are with macs :P
  7. [hide]the easter event isnt politically correct, you get 2 squirrels as a reward a grey one and a red one. Grey and Red squirrels compete for food and the greys win so Charlie will be deceased by next easter.[/hide]
  8. "At this rate, youll be the one wearing the big bunny suit next Easter." I wonder what next years reward will be :\
  9. Black partyhat at christmas please
  10. [hide]Squirrel pet too ugh so what's point in the summoning skill pet?[/hide]
  11. Error connecting to server, awesome fun I'll go bake some troll-cakes refreshed client ahh all better
  12. Please not be the reward
  13. Quote tags and yes it is i'm sat here waiting for a delivery van I swear I've counted atleast 20 white vans every engine noise I look to my disapponintment. On a side note Happy 6th year of RuneScape 2! it's also my birthday shh
  14. Sadly, I agree. I would be happier if the easter bunny just handed out the items. T_T i hate runescape holidays. but I try to make the most of it. Jagex has this bad habit of beta testing future content on low level content (tower of life, holiday events) remember the halloween event where the grim reaper made you go down a slide... twice? <_< gf Jagex. I guess it's nice that they're involving us in the beta testing. But seriously... I think we'd be a lot more eager if they effectively advertised the beta testing as a good thing, instead of covering it up. They advertised tower of life as a huge beta test, but the whole affair was rather half hearted. I don't expect to see anything different this year. what was tower of life a beta test for then? :s Items that carried information on them, instead of the player(remember how they didn't stack in your bank?..) Yup I believe they spoke of dragonfire shields as such items that can increase charges etc
  15. Omg new skill (what week would be complete without this) Probably easter event yes
  16. I've played a while too although we're all "original" runescape players :)
  17. Cleaning out computer as I'm getting a new one choosing what I want to keep, I was looking through my screenshots and this is from roughly January 2009, the question I ask is how do I afford money?
  18. I remember when me and my friend used tip.it frequently which was mid classic and I didn't like quest guides but I think I had trouble on ernest chicken the lever bit so I didn't know how the guides worked (turns out you had to highlight the text for spoliers) but now it's evolved slightly since then!
  19. First runescape site, it's only competitor was runevillage, I chose tip.it because the forums had more life.. but I attended runevillages drop partys, henner and hiker (I think those are the names) sure knew how to host drop partys! like monthly phat sets dropped, dmeds etc awesomeee
  20. The Champions' Challenge isnt exactly high level content =/ Yeah it's not and it's not something all people will do, because it's not really engaging content its mind numbing killing of monsters that have no advantage of killing them unless you get one from slaying by some odd chance. I can whine all I like though I pay my membership fee and I'm entitled to my opinion, I didn't realise there was a requirement to whine! Thank you. Please, let me show you the way to the RuneScape Official Forum, where many like-minded players would love to join you in your cause. You know you belong here. There's a huge difference between most of the posters here and the ones on the RSOF, and you know that. You seem to have some sort of strange vendetta against anyone who dislikes or disagrees with anything that Jagex does or releases. There's a certain irony in your directing an intelligent poster and maxed player like Smellysocks to the RSOF. What have you contributed to this thread besides your petty attempts at belittlement? Even if you're maxed out and post intelligently most of the time, it doesn't mean that your post makes sense all the time. The above is clearly a poor attitude that you'll often find on the RSOF. "I pay I say" in proper English. Without the name 'Smellysocks', who's going to find it intelligent? Neither do I find your "We need high level content" post for every update very intelligent either, morningrise333. It's a known fact that high level players need high level content, but you posting on a recent update thread makes it as if the latest update is causing Jagex to forfeit another high level content, especially when both the Shattered heart and this update has been beneficial to all levels and generous with the EXP, and FUN in the latter case. I used the word whine because the previous poster did, I agree we do need a blend of content, quests low/high level, skill content low/high level, bridging gaps & varying the gameplay to keep it interesting and fresh, I don't mind this D&D but the only way you can succeed for medals is use a clan chat such as Fish_Fling1 for the fish combinations such as Sea Bass/Bait/Hook/LMH <- Light medium heavy weight count for 100%. I think this is a suggestion I saw a while back on "message in a bottle" where you'd stumble accross a bottle fishing and could do another type of activity apart from now its triggered with an npc for fishing rewards

There's areas of RSOF which excel parts of these, areas such as the maxed players area has good information bring up nice training tips, current issues debates and quite a few suggestions actually make it through to game content with some adjustments ;)
  23. Congrats so a tree run a day 130k, or more depending on how desperate you are, it's pretty much a good skill to end on you can do what you like and just do a farm run now and then :P congrats in advance ;)
