I've read everything Jagex had to say today. Seems more or les a total lockdown of RS. Tired of fighting bots, RWT, blah blah blah.....lets just lock the whole thing down. And that's what they did. I bet it will work too. Now I'm hearing people... "We pay we say" "End of RuneScape" more blah blah... Did any of these people read the articles? Prolly not. I understand what they did. I also read in several places that after the complete lockdown is in place they are going to listen to intelligent feedback and fix things. "GASP I'll never be able to give my friend something waaahhhhh!" Well you won't be able to for a bit but I'm totally positive they will figure a way out for you to do such things. Why do people assume this is a personal attack on you. It's not. It's the big bang to stop bots and RWT which people have been whining about for a few years and dogging them for not doing a good enough job. So now they finally drop the proverbial bomb and everyone freaks out. LOL. It's hilarious and I'm still chuckling. All the things gone that you are freaking out about and feel like Jagex did this to YOU will be worked out. If you can't hang with that then see ya. And don't give your stuff away because when your more patient and intelligent friends start to tell you things are settling and some things are getting worked out your stuff will still be there when you come back.

Almost every post has been a bird egg reference. I'm glad to see a use for them finally too. BUT...they knew for three years! Three years of people asking and talking about. I never once saw them say "Hang on to them we will be using them." Another thing is they are kinda rare. Just chopping trees forever doesnt really get you that many. Doing the Misc Kingdom seems the best way to get them. It has got me more of them in the past 4-5 months than I ever got the whole time playing chopping trees. But the question now is...since we've had them for three years AND they aren't tradable AND somewhat rare, are they going to be very useful? Like the Onyx Bracelet. Bracelet of Regeneration. That was a major let down. Again I'm glad there's a use for the eggs I'm just not going to be AT ALL WHAT-SO-EVER excited about it until I see what USE that is.

Just like someone said before....millions of items flooded into the G.E. bringing the prices down. Alot of stuff like Rune items dropped to near high alch value. Hell I just checked green dragonhide bodies and the lower end is 20gp LOWER than high alch value. Now that this has happened people will start to simply high alch their drops/common clue rewards. That means items coming into and leaving the game instead of being sold and increasing these amounts. That my friends will create DEMAND and prices will start to rise.

It is helpful from keeping Gold farmers from transferring their money to buyers. It is unfortunate, but necessary. They can trade the money between the accounts just as easily. You are correct. The support staff seems to have a very generic form they copy and past from with the ending usually being in the persons own words. I actually had a friend try out the game and he created a character. He didn't have all that long to try it out and did tutorial island in a few sittings never actually getting off the island. The next day he went to log in and it said he was banned. We looked on his page and it said 20 black marks and the reason being inappropriate username. His name was Akashni. Go figure eh? Whats inappropriate about that? Anyways I told him to appeal it and the auto response was blah blah you have repeatly violated our rules blah blah blah. Ummm the second day? Not even off tutorial island? MMMM'kay. Total lack of actual support.

You would have to have inventory space for the house/fally teleport You would only need it to teleport there thus emptying your inventory (28) and wearing a glory to bank.

Dang dude...your just wrong. I mean no one is ever perfect. And people need to fail/fall to learn their errors. Instead of kicking them when their down why not point out their mistake then suggest how to recover.

How old is it? Nowadays they are inexpensive. It just may be bad. Also open your computer...unplug the cables and plug them back in. I'm thinking it just may be bad.

Sorry that this happened to you. But it's probably best to step away for awhile. Maybe even from any online to online interaction period. I only say this because you mentioned that a person in a video game was your best friend ever. That's a little scary. Online to online human interacting is so advance that people lose sight of whats important. Physical human interacting. I'm not putting you down at all. It happens to a lot of people and is very easy to get caught up in. Replace RS with something positive such as a phone call to a relative. A trip to the mall with a real life friend. Good luck and don't let this weigh on you too long. It's ok to be mad/sad for a bit. But move on and after you'll be surprised how it has made you stronger. PS - Posting such subject matter is asking for more frustration as a majority of ANY online community really don't care about people on the "other end" of their computer.

Yeah you broke a rule and therefor received a black mark. It happens. You just have to remember that although RS is a glorified chat program be careful what you say. If you want to tell someone something about a website do it in a PM. Better if you know the person and can use yahoo/aol/msn messenger. I do believe though that there is a separation between advertising a website and telling someone to go and look at something. It's the wannabe mods who report without using their brains.

Good idea. I've never been hacked before though. I also use all the security features RS provides. But no one is truly "hacked". It's just a word that the RS community uses and I guess it's ok but definiatly is not the best word to describe what actually happens. Being hacked would mean someone "broke" into Jagex servers and manipulated the data there. Far as I know thats impossible. Also would mean another user "broke" into your computer and manipulated it to get your password. Could happen, but very rare. Also using brute force password generators at the RS login screen. Impossible as well because of how Jagex has made their login screen. Well maybe not impossible but 1000 times slower and not worth the effort. The word though makes feel better about being "hacked". It has the sound as if they did nothing at all wrong. Truth is, its being lazy and careless that gets you "hacked". Not setting password recovery questions and bank pins. Trusting others with your password. Going to shady websites. I never ever feel sorry for anyone complaining about this imaginary "hacking" process that for no reason whatsoever just happens to someone. Be smart and use common sense. Don't trust people with your pass. Period.

Hmm, they only reply with copy pasted answers. So was this reply a generic "You can't use programs blah blah" or did he specifically tell you that the program SwiftSwitch is illegal? SS has conformed and been recently (3-5 months ago) "blessed" by Jagex as far a I remember. ALL HAIL SWIFTSWITCH!!! Except for the google ads that sell RS Gold and advertise keylogger programs. I too plant in the morning and harvest the next morning. A few times I have NOT used super compost by mistake and it took the tree forever to grow. If your not using super compost for everything then do so. You get xp for making it and also for using it.

I've been killing the skeleton thug to the east past the stairs to the mith dragons. There is also a dead body to rummage through. I get about 4-5 pages a trip. The skeleton thug drops rune scimmys too. Got 3 so far.
