One of the problems with a droped end game armor would be its rarity factor. for instance, my little brother has killed over 10k blacks, steels, and irons with no visage. It is theoretically possible that a player can max out at the 200m in a skill and still not get the drop. Also what would you give to fishing? the uber stabber which can catch 6 sharks in 1 throw? :-P

what is fair about abhorant market manipulation both by jagex and players?? fair trading? if the trading was truly fair there would be no need for junk now would there.

if i sold it for the labor put into ita at like .10 on the hr it would still probly be like a few k...anywho if someone offered me 100 bucks id sell it. easy..im a poor college kid who needs beer. \

i killed everything....tons and tons of everything....alots of everything...but seriously i got 2 black mask drops in one trip just a little while after thy came out.

ive always found that things are quite easy if you have some patience. for instance when i wasnt but a wee lev 75 i wanted to do all the quests(this was way before skill capes), so i struggled really hard for a while untill i realized oh, meby i should train up some skills!, and after that quests and the such just got easier. also with the amount of guides available anyone can learn how to do anything if they are slightly competent.

i likes my names for their purely asthetic value :) mine are so random that i cant complain other ppls 1242631666-means like pure chaotic randomness aresgodowar-kinda self evident(even thou he is a lev 6 with 50 wc) adamdideve-saddly beaten to death by the mighty jagex bbbatterbox-stood for baseball batterbox before i lost the pasword like 5 years or so ago and then theres the names i have for halo/guild wars Sooneroblivion-xbox live \ cant touch that :) and sooneroblivion I , bittersweet oblivion(gw) so im fine with ppl having crazy names that repeat themselves. its just their style, what they found cool at the time they made their account.

it would be a perfect triangle all of the time if you could only be one type of combatant. however hybrids(which is the majority of players i would assume) can flow between classes dependent on what type of attack they are receiving. for instance. if i am maging someone in c wars they will most likely switch to d hide to try and protect against my mage. they then can either range me or come in close to melee. on the other side i can notice that they have switched armor and pull out a cross bow and do some heavy damage. they either can accept that i am going to poke holes in them or switch to melee armor, which is a mage magnet. so really there is a triangle but it just isnt static. which while producing some disadvantages isnt really all that bad. how would you like it if all you could do was mage? or melee? it would be like guildwars except death and loosing items and no crazy super spells..

From my experience addicting games is where high school students go to play video games during school because they are bored out of their minds. that would make advertising now a good move, seeing as those who are forced to play addicting games during the school year probly play other games on their xboxes or playstations.

They better, though I'm unsure how teleporting will work in general, what with wilderness levels and all. My guess is that one click magic book teleports will be unavailable on Pk worlds. that would seem kindof pointless seing as most people dont walk from fally to varroc. it would be faster to hop worlds to travel in many instances. perhaps you wouldnt be able to tele certain distances from citys. only problem would come in where citys are too close. but again it depends on how safe spots work. for one i believe that citys themselves will be safe for the most part( fally for instance would be safe inside the walls seing as the are sorta guarded) and citys like ardroune arent completely walled and the bank might be safe..who knows hopefully there will be small pockets of pvp right in safespots but sorta like you cant leave if you have been engaged in combat.

I doubt that you get drops like that... If I have to believe Jagex, then the very hard to get super cool, or even semi-cool items are a rare once-in-a-while bonus, and you can only aquire these with the most amazing of PK's, aka, you are armed, dangerous and fighting back... a ko by ice blitz and ddping while using smite would definently look like a spectacular kill. thats really one of the best pking tactics ive ever used because while they protect from mage you decimate with smite and ddp :) but again thats more of a jumping pk

there is also the fact that people who are good friends will be ko'in each others in order to get the unique items if it is proven to actually be worth it :).. i know my brother and i will finally be able to give each other stuff in a way. which i could imagine would also stimulate rwt with unique items. again all of this is Dependant on how good the drops and such are. id say the best way would be how the anchor used to work, where it dropped cash for it. but you know its not gonna happen because of the obvious rwt implications.

I bet one ancienter could hold the bridge depending on the type of people attacking. nah need more than one person, otherwise you could only at maximum target 9 ppl and as soon as someone with d hide and a dds or ags or whatever gets within range u would be skewered, the whole point of the ancient/range combo is the effects of a crystal bow or rune c bow and take out all types of armor. but you still cant guarentee you can own an area against even a few ppl because of jagex's hit and miss system.

pretty much already a war zone, why not just add more chaos :) for maximum excitement how bout north of varroc between the wildy and the err-non wildy pking zone :0 depending on what happens to the ditch of stupidity it could be interesting as currently i dont think you can attack over it and the wildy side for a few steps is currently like a save zone.

compared to other games it is relatively easy to farm gold. take guild wars for instance. if im not mistaken the cap for cash is mebe under 1m and definently under 2m

i dunno, but i know what you mean. usually its the same people who will break their own rules at the first sign that they are loosing. my little bro takes advantage of the f2p bh "no arm" fights and pulls out that 99 range/2h ownage, and half the time the other guy will call him a range noob or something like that and run away(still gets kills from this :) ) its not really a pker attitude but more of a immature player attitude that is in everything. it does no good and usually makes me feel even more inclined to "cheat". if its some higher level bragging i just point out that "my [bleep]er ele could rape ur rune scape noob"(guild wars) and some actually like to argue it. anywhoo just wait for pk worlds and see how much of these ppl are willing to risk their agss in tru pk atmosphere.

tb is coming back :) also how many ancienters/rangers does it take to hold the mage tower bridge? caus that seems to be a popular pk type from the mems of tip ive played with.

if anything overvalued. look at the other sets. they all have great uses as well. veracs has always been my favorite set just because of its cool gladiator look, but its power shouldnt be underestimated. before the trade updates it was considered cheap to duel someone with veracs because you would just eat a person up. and remember the first "high lev" quest contact that people were complainin was soo hard? yeah tore that bug to pieces with veracs and like 4 sharks. so guthans is just finally moving to where it should be.

It works both ways. Some people could view your melee stats as "crap." /logic must have never killed any monster with a huge group....like killing kbd with like 50 ppl it doesnt matter if they have lower stats than you because you have just as much a chance of splashing as they do.
