Adding 3 personal notes: - If some crops would be added without making it easier (so no faster exp), it would be welcome. - the effect of the merchants on the seedmarket seems to me not in 'the spirit of the game'. However, it seems inevitable that they control this market like many other markets.. so better make the best of it.. - in case people still dont understand that farming is a 'multitask'-skill as previously said: 89 herblore and 91 slayer go hand in hand with my high farminglvl..

Not sure if it's correct forum, but I assume it's related. I cant see mine or anyone elses stat- or goalsigs (mine are draynor net) today. Did I miss something? Something wrong in profile settings? ( I didnt change mine), Draynor.net servers off or maybe some action from Jagex towards 'malicious' sites that advertise runegold??

Nice job Hohto, thumbs up for someone who spend the time to gather all these data. I confess that, as a serious farmer myself, I was too lazy to record my farming results. So, based on my memory&experience in farming many/many herbseeds, I agree on the average herb yield. Approximately 7 will be my average too nowadays. (this was higher until 2 months before the 'My arm' quest was introduced!!) Three remarks: - It is not completely clear for me if your yield of 6,98 is including the death herbs?? - My death/disease rate is definitely higher than your estimated 8-9% (note that I never check herbs to prevent disease). It will be closer to 15% minimum. - I hope you dont have seed merchanting ambitions? :wink: Your conclusions seed to suggest that prices can go up? Farming is already ridicilous expensive nowadays. No need for further price increases (at least for me :-w )

att 6,34 str 5,14 def 8,90 range 13,18 total: 33,56 / 4 *1,33 = 11,15M actual hitpoints: 11,09M spot on, the very few times I pc'ed I used it for prayer.. (and maybe used a canon once or twice :-w )

for all 6 coconuts, I would estimate roughly 4 cycles/ 24 hours... And out of own experience, mostly playing few hours in the evening, I can tell you it's a pain in the ... to collect serious amounts of coconuts.. edit: perhaps I made this a little confusing by mentioning 'cycles'. In this case I meant a completed growingcycle of 6 coconuts. So, in theory, 24 nuts per tree per day..

200-250k exp per hour.. I've used them at lvl 98 + rangepots, so really can't understand where all those higher exp. numbers are coming from.. (i've 2,5k left for sale.. if interested pm me in game ore here plz rsn:hyjack01)

Ty for your info Headnazgul. Before dumping my Keris, i will first try it on Guardians. Till now I always went to the Soldiers since i collect the potatocactii in between. I didnt clock it to the second, but I estimate my whip was around 30% faster there. I hope it will be different on Guardians.

I had another Kalphite slayertask yesterday. It seemed that I was extremely unlucky with my special hits during my last task, since I now had approx. 6 vicious hits on 20 soldiers. A lot more but still nothing special, and definitely not increasing my slayerspeed (as Rune0nite confirms), so again back to my whip and now banking the Keris for gathering dust.. For me personally another disappointing questreward, however a few of you 'max hitters' will keep it using probably... PS Ty for reopening this thread Red Tanya

I did some abyss-rc in 99 yesterday. Probably because of my combatlvl I wasn't harassed, but I witnessed several kills.. We've seen countless threads here about the ethics of pking and abyss-pking in specific, one of the conclusions I've read more than once was that many people agreed that abysspkers deserved to be pked themselves, especially in the Tip-homeworld 99! So were are the abysspk-pkers??? (needed lvls 80-110)

I really can't see how my post isn't related to this thread. i followed this thread from the first day (I do a lot of Kalphite-slaying) and was sincerely questioning the current effects of the dagger. So, verifying some max hits was the purpose of this thread wasnt it? But ok, if the guideline would be that only threadowners could do the bumping, I can understand, however it's a bit in contradiction with the adjusted forumrule mentioned by Gugge. So, it's not my intention to make this a neverending discussion, but the policy seems still not clear to me.. :? A side note: the easy thing to so, seems to start a new thread. My personal view on this is that Tip-forum could do with a lot less new threads to make the whole forum better useful. 80% of the new threads in discussions and help sections are variations on an old topic, just plain old news (you can check if search engine works.. :-k ) and/or could be stickied ( I need 1 million gp tomorrow, I need 99magic fast, ...).

That's exactly the reason i'm asking for a guideline/policy ... I'm not judging mods.. I'm convinced 95% of them are doing their job to their best knowledge.. It would just be less confusing if all mods would check a threadbump the same way and/or would follow Gugge's suggestion for explanation.

I'm not doubting your knowledge, but you could have added a little more info based on FACTS to proof your point. 7 out of 10 friendly given advices here on tip-it are based on hear say or on a one time experience and therefore are mostly useless. If I'm not mistaken one of the major goals on the advice-forums (as input for tip-guides) is to share facts, not assumptions. Btw, as far as I know, range attack bonus does effect accuracy (so more often hits), not max hit.. Another fact of you that doesn't need explanation?

Yes, when you're attacking with your salamander on strength attack. Yes. The salamander attacks with the style you select, a magic based attack will bypass melee and ranged prayer, a strength based attack will bypass ranged and mage, and a ranged based attack will bypass the melee and mage prayers. The damage dealt is dictated by the level you have, so yes - if your magic level is higher than your strength you will do better with the magic attack than the strength attack, depending of course on your opponent's defences in those areas. I use my black salamander as my sole barrows weapon. They are an extraordinarily underrated weapon. Happy flamethrowing Could you add how you get all this information? I've heard numerous different explanations too.. And I also wonder why I was hitting max 22,23 in cw with black salamander, 99 range, potted and eagle eye prayer....

I had lost my holy wrench a few days ago. Today I wanted to get a new one, but had forgotten the name of this item.. That's good news pokemama, Maybe you can tell this 'someone' to give special attention to the gnomestronghold fruittreepatch. To me this patch seems often significant faster than the other patches. No matter if I pay for it or not..

Today I bumped a 2 month old thread. It was locked this evening. I bumped the thread by posting some of my experiences I had today with the threadtopic: the Kerisdagger. I had the feeling that my experience with this weapon was clearly different than 2 months before and therefore asked for some new experiences of other old posters.. Since I also have seen threads locked because the topic was the same as other older threads, my question is: Whats the policy regarding updating info on 'old' subjects??

Bump: Anyone of you all here still using the Keris for Kalphites? Why am I asking? After 2 months , I used it again for a Kalphite slayertask. Maybe I had just bad luck, maybe Jagex nerved it or maybe I'm just too 'spoiled' now, but after 50 kalphites I banked it and started using my old trusty whip again.. I had exactly 1 'vicious blow' of 35(!!) on 50 kalphite soldiers and after timing my next 50 soldiers with whip, my whip seemed rougly 30-50% faster.. I know we have quite a history of 'useless' questrewards in RS and this post is not meant to rant about this fact, however I just wanted to verify if this weapon has still better result with other users? Please comment

Maybe just a trivial fact for most of you, but for me quite a 'surprise': today I got 18 herbs from 1 patch! (Supercompost, toadflax, Catherby patch) First time ever for me and I've farmed many herbs.. So, 18 herbs is maximum yield for herbs unless somebody here had even more?

They can when it is stealing money from them. Hell, they have legal grounds for a lawsuit (checked with one of my lawyer friends). At least they are giving everyone a chance to clean up. Following the different threads on this subject from the start, I had no intentions to post.. However, seeing that most people here are rushing to conclusions: Barihawk, ask your socalled 'highplaced' Jagexfriends to state all do's and dont's concerning this subject on the frontpage (or at least a referral to it) and till that time stop making people believe that the use of statsigs is worse than robbing old ladies... pfff
