  1. pshht. noob i got ur helm and other bits dont credit blur next time i wont bother :notalk: 1) It's physically impossible for their to be a next time. 2) My bad, after almost a year I have trouble remembering who I DK'd with on what trips :P .
  2. You've got to roll when you hit the ground  . Lol I do. Though I suppose being flat-footed with fairly weak ankles doesn't help me much :? Little late, but I forgot to add... my jump wouldn't be 2-3x as high as yours was. My jump would be about 20 feet up, since I was on the floor of the third floor, not the ceiling :P .

I havn't been angry in over a year. I don't have the ego, nor the emotional drive for it.
  4. Second hand smoke? "Smoking cant ruin someone elses life like that" :-s ? Point..?
  5. No, but statistically speaking most of the people on this thread are liars.
  6. Huh? Hm... I confess to being confused about a ton of these confessions :-k .
  7. Am I the only one of this forum who doesn't like his hair, or at least just thinks it's mediocre o_O?
  8. So why should we help if nothing dramatic will ever change? Wouldn't that just be a waste of taxpayers money and manpower which could be used for something more worthwhile? Nothing will ever dramatically change because America is so damn scared of anything challenging capitalism. Thats why. Eh, it's nowhere near as bad as it used to be, but you're pretty much right on that point :| .
  9. Quantum mechanics kind of blows that view out of the water though. Eh, I guess you can't predict small things like where an electron is going to be... but I was thinking on larger scales. Quantum mechanics makes it so we can't know for sure where small things like electrons are going to be, but we could predict where something large is going to be with pretty much 100% certainty if we were omniscient in matters of past and present.
  10. You just contradicted yourslef there mate =D> Care to explain how I CONTRADICTED myself, mate  I think it had something to do with the whole "naive" part.
  11. Eh, I'm an American, so I instinctively used the pronoun "we" instead of saying "the US", since I'm technically a part of the nation. My bad >_<. Yes, it's important that we help people. To be honest, I'm having trouble taking a side on this issue- choosing between practicality and being a complete humanitarian. It's just, if people keep expecting the US to do everything (along with UK and a few others), we'll just get to the point eventually where we can't handle all the world's problems. Practically speaking, everyone needs to work together on this issue. Everyone.
  12. We'd be inclined to help if a few other [powerful] countries just got their act together and got off their [wagon]s every once in a while, instead of just sitting in their cozy little countries doing nothing. As said, we're not the world police. Don't insult us one day, then expect us to do all the dirty work the next. [Disclaimer].
  13. I took statistics last year... I've totally forgotten everything >_<. Kinda sucks, seeing as how I'm taking the Mathematics Level II SAT, and there's a decent amount of statistics stuff on it -.- . So should've taken it last year...
  14. Yes. How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? :-k
  15. 3.5/10. Interesting concept, but I'm sure you could work on the detail :P .
  16. You've got to roll when you hit the ground  .
  17. 1) 3/2 and 2/3 For this one, you can factor it down. If you did it right, you should get ti 6x^2-13x+6. (multiply both sides by 6x, move the 13x to the left side). That can be factored, and with the given answers I hope you can find out how :P . 2) -19/24 Just add the 1/x's together (to get 2/x), move the 2 to the right side, get the fraction -19/12, and cross multiply. And chocobodude, there's nothing to solve for there. It's not a math problem, just a number. I'm guessing your friend was thinking of the fact that that number has an infinitely long, non-repeating decimal sequence, so one can't really write the answer down in decimal form. Nonethless, there's not any point in going to decimal form- the answer's right there.
  18. You fell 60 feet and nothing happened? 60 ft = ~6 stories My friend jumped from his garage (~1 story) and broke his foot. 60 ft is more likely to be serious injuries/death. I kind of live for adrenaline rushes. Extreme sports, driving fast, roller coasters, or whatever will give me a cheap rush. My last adrenaline rush was accidently drifting on a wet road. Had I known what I was doing I might have been able to pull is off and look good doing it but I ended up in the gravel on the side of the road  Meh, I've jumped from a third story window of a hotel and I didn't get hurt (don't ask, I was just being stupid with soccer teammates at a tournament). Still, falling sixty feet from a tree... ya, you'd be dead, hospital best case scenario. It was probably more like 10 feet or so. I mean, at sixty feet you'd have to describe the fall in detail for me to understand why you aren't six feet under yet.
  19. Eh, I'm pretty sure most of the people saying they're "not going to be on the computer and instead spend the whole day on the beach" will probably average... I dunno, 8 hours a day of Runescape? 9? Just admit you're going to play more, or don't post [for 97% of people]. When I played, summer was nothing but two to three DK trips a day- i.e. A LOT of Runescape. You're not making yourself look cooler by making such blatantly mendacious statements :| . It's better than sitting around doing nothing in your spare time. That was a joke post, right? Add [/joke] tags next time, please.
  20. They did that to me, and it worked for me as well o_O. Havn't had a drop of beer since then...
  21. Age limits aren't doing much to help. Here in the US, 19 year old drunk idiots are still the leading cause of car accidents, even though the legal drinking age is 21. As has been said, parents should slowly introduce their kids to alcohol, probably just by having wine with them on occasion. I mean, who's a better person to share a first drinking experience with to get to know how to properlly drink and when to stop- one's parents [at home], or their friends [at a party]? I want to drink in college, but I'm too much of a goodie tooshoos (sp?) to do something illegal like that -.- .
  22. Ha! Would be dirty blonde, but I started spraying Sun-In and now it's golden. It looks so much better now than it used to look like. Meh, I prefer it dirty blonde :P . It used to be very light blonde, but it changed as I got older :-k .
  23. Dirty blonde, with natural highlights at my bangs (i.e., the front part of my hair is noticeably lighter than the back o_O).
  24. The government needs to drop the drinking age to 18, and frikking add a little bite to punishments for drinking and driving. Like, actually serious punishments for it, not the weenie laws we have nowdays. Currently all I do is drink wine with my parents and their friends during parties, but I hate the fact that I won't be legally able to drink in college. I'm responsible enough to not do anything stupid or get drunk. Heck, I bet if the drinking age was dropped to 18 (but laws against crimes involving drinking were strengthened), kids, or "young adults" I suppose, would be way more responsible about drinking habits. In one year I can go die for my country, but I won't be able to get a drink. Screw that.
