  1. Only on a Runescape forum. Sadly I think you and I are in the minority here in thinking that's a completely ridiculous thing to say. So true :-k #-o .
  2. Only on a Runescape forum.
  3. Hesiod lived around 500-700 years after the first books of the Bible and was from Greece, I'd hardly call him a fiction author from when the Bible's first books were written. What non-fiction authors from the biblical times of Moses write like that? Okay, you guys need to take this to the PM box. Please. This is a thread about scientology, and there's absolutely nothing in either of those posts that has anything to do with scientology at all. Go argue about how the other person's logic makes them look like an idiot somewhere else.
  4. :| If anything, the mighty beast at your side is going to be a squirrel. Maybe a squirrel with sharp gnashing teeth and blood-red eyes, but a squirrel nonetheless.
  5. Until you stop liking the game, it's going to be hard to stop playing. And, as Adam appeared to say, quitting is a process, not an event. That's what kept me in it for the last three months. But even Ice Cubes get dull after a long enough period of time.
  6. Stargate SG-1  .
  7. You seem to be forgetting that languages are dynamic. By the modern Runescape player definition of the term "skiller", one is a skiller if they focus on non-combat skills more than combat. You can look at other defintion of the word and try and replace the Runescape definition with them, but, based on the context, that's just pointless. I wish the term "idiot" could be some day seperated from "someone who doesn't agree with me" :| . I can dream, can't I?
  8. o_O? I confess to being terrible at putting names to faces, especially with peers at school :XD: .
  9. I.e., "do you have a brother or sister?"

  11. That... would kill you :-s .
  12. I've tried to hackysack... and I suck at it. It completely contradicts ten years of soccer instincts. In soccer, you trap balls at your laces. I just can't bring myself around to catch it and hit it on the side of my foot instead of the laces >_<.
  13. I actually laughed at that. Just act big, try to push him off when he jumps you....... Are you kidding me? If there's any size difference at all, it's not a competition. It's pretty much all limb length when it's bro vs. bro. My little brother is a Black Belt in a form of Judo called Maududo. I've had no formal training in any martial arts whatsoever. He can't even get anywhere close to hitting me.. or grabbing me or anything at all. Other than being athletic, I've got almost nothing going for me; faster reflexes and longer limbs (and maybe kicking ability from soccer) are all I need to stop anything he tries (we sparr occasionally, though I just play defense to see how much he's improving :-w ). Anyways, I havn't gotten beaten up, or gotten into any serious fights for that matter- my peers at school are pretty good about not picking fights or anything : .
  14. I think I've already mentioned this... but my one detention came from me and the rest of the class waiting for half an hour for the teacher to show, with no signs or anything signifying whether or not the teacher was here. At the last period of the day. After the half hour, me and half the class just got pissed and left, and five minutes later a teacher came in, got attendance, gave everyone who left a detention (again, half the class), and let everyone leave 10 minutes before the period was over. -.- .
  15. I've got no reason to feel ashamed of my stats (even when I played, I hated skills and didn't care that most of my levels were just high enough for quests), but this is going to add a whole new level to the power of Runescape players to expand their egos.
  16. Live [and die] for people, not erroneous beliefs. The most dangerous people on the planet are those who are convinced that they know the truth. Okay, I can't tell at all if you're agreeing with me or attacking me o_O. Jordan, please edit your post.... your stretching the page like crazy :| .

Same. When I go to bed, I have to make sure I can't see the door as I lie in bed because something might come walking in. When I lie in bed, and I see the clothes on the peg, I imagine the scary people out of scary movies i.e the Grudge. And I can see the shapes coming closer to me. And I always shine a light at least 10 times before I finally sleep. Call me a freak or loser or whatever but I have a torch and a knife under my pillow. I think we all did that at some point in our lives  . Heck, that was a habit of mine less than a year ago >_<.
  18. Live [and die] for people, not erroneous beliefs.
  19. Level 85 isn't exactly "seriously dedicated" in my book, especially with how easy it is to raise combat nowadays.
  20. Other than tricking... the only challenge I ever have is the schoolwork I'm forced to do.
  21. Definitely with Malthus on this one. Unless laws were passed to reduce child birth worldwide :-k . Don't remember where I heard this (or if it's even right >_<), or if I've said it on Tip... but I remember hearing that if Nigeria continues reproducing at it's current rate, it'll have a population size larger than the current world population by 2100...
  22. My motto for [math] homework: "Can't figure it out, BS it."
  23. I'm sorry Satenza, but it's just tired rhetoric at this point.
  24. I can't think of anything (within reason) that could hurt the Runescape economy, if you can even call it one. Honestly, give me a scenario that doesn't involve some completely ludicrous update, and we'll see how "bad" it is for the "economy".
  25. I don't really think we need World War III to happen in our lifetimes. Oh don't worry, I'm sure that at some time in our lifetime someone will get their hands on a nuke and have a blonde moment (*conspicuously points at Korea*). Oh, and we can't admit the truth about abortion, because if anyone actually believed to truth, or rather even wanted to believe the truth (for believing the truth on this matter is pure idiocy), society would fall apart. The truth? We're animals with more developed brains. That's it. We don't have that much more value than that squirrel in our backyard gathering nuts. It's just, anyone with half a brain would know that it'd be dumb for anyone to think that's true, for society's sake. Hell, I as a human being still can't help but not accept it, 'cause how could I really survive if I did?
