You mean you rnagers lasted 5 mins, and the meleer lasted about 10 seconds. I beleive i was last there maging and stayed a while. :P :roll: The Mage ALWAYS lasts the longest, and on the rare occasion that he doesn't (which hasn't happened to me) everyone else would have to leave anyways because if Rex. The reason he lasts the longest is: 1) Easy safespot 2) Has melee armor to defend against range attacks while having Mage protect on. 3) Supreme is extremely tough and hard to fight for extended periods. 4) Rangers don't have great range defense in Black Hide :? .

:) I second that. Even though its in the wild, if all the Tip.iters are going together, I doubt any Pkers would even think of attacking us :twisted: . So there's really no reason not to have a big KBD trip.

Eh, that ain't too bad. 2 items in 50 trips, and a lot of half keys (it seems like the monsters in the tunnels like you, but the Bro's don't :P ). 1:25 is below average, but with a 50 trip sample I'm sure it will balance out to 1:15 or so soon.

I may join once I finish my damned four School projects (curse 4th quarter). I'm an experienced Dagganoth King Mage, and I may try range as I'm slowly getting closer to 80 at Fire Giants. I've also killed the KBD a few times in groups, but I am a total noob when it comes to KQ killing, as I haven't done it once and I have yet to own a set of Full Veracs. I'll PM or post if I want to join when I've got enough free time.

I'm on my way to 99 Mage. With all the Mage Training Arena, Barrows, Castle Wars and Metal Dragons I do I don't think it'll be too bad :D .

^^ Its true, so many people think that Magic Dart is unaffected by Magic Attack bonus, which is total bull from my experiences. Sure, you hit well with and without Ahrims on, but c'mon, they basically have little to know mage protection. Its like bursting a guy in Rune at Cw. Sure your going to hit a lot, so it doesn't hurt you too much to put on a a Brassard, but once you put it on you won't hit as well. The defense compensates for the slight loss of Magic power. The same thing goes for Barrows.

People don't need to assume that because there's plenty (like me) who lives there and tests every possible method. Save yourself two inventory space, mage robes are not necessary. Barrows is a slow money maker if you expect to use it consistently, compare to other money-making methods (rc, green dragon, merchant, etc). You may get lucky a few times, but once you start to do the runs day-in day-out, probability catches up to you. However, it's still great way to make money if you consider the exp you're getting. Being fun doesn't hurt either. More assuming, Like could you bring some facts with you. It seems people assume it, even the experienced among us :? . I myself don't believe it, because I do hit better with a higher magic bonus with Magic Dart, and I've seen no official announcement that its true. Its just a massive rumor, a virus that has speard much too far.

I don't know who was the moron to come up with that, but its a lie. No matter how bad their magic defense is, no matter how negative, it's still there. When I'm in Ahrims Robes using Magic Dart on Dharok, Karil, and Verac (with Prayer) I hit WAAAY better, practically never splashing, then I do in melee armor maging Torag and Guthan (no Prayer). Monk Robes give no advantage, so they'd be inbetween Melee armor and Ahrims, close to Melee armor ([-20][0][100] Ever noticed how every good player who goes to the Barrows is in Mystic, Ahrims, or melee armor? Monks robes are NOT the way to go. Can you confirm that from somewhere? Is there some official page that says it that I missed? :?

Doubt it, thanks to the update and the fact that not everyone at Tip.it it 80+. I'll come, and maybe see if I can get a few fellow Auxilium members to be there for added ownage (85+ clan :D ). I'll be sure to bring Dharoks and all that good stuff :wink: .

I'm actually not asking a question, im just attempting to point out how merchanting is not a lazy mans way of making money.. IMO its pretty easy. Back when I used to Merchant (hate the smell of merchants now, I'd rather walk to the Mage Arena in Blue Phat skulled then stay in World 2 Fally for 2 hours) I made a lot of cash merchanting new things. When Dagganoth Hides came out I made an easy 15-25k profit PER HIDE. When Obby stuff came out is was extremely easy to make a quick 100k merchanting a shield or set. And back when Guthan helms ranged from 3.4-4.2 I made 3mil in an hour buying on the forums and selling in game. IMO merchanting is and extremely easy and fast way of making money, and investing takes no skill at all (as Bubsa stated).

Yes, but at the moment it appears that F2p's going to go down anyways thanks to all the Macroers. I personally think this is a pretty good idea, Yews could still be used, but wiould have extremely limited usefulness, which is exactly what Jadex did to solve the Essence problem. I support :D . (sorry F2p, but it really seems that you're not going to be around for much longer)
