I always bring a my lucky Dragon Dagger to the Barrows. Everyone needs a lucky item :D . I also reclick when mining and fishing.

K, well I just took a pic that I'm going to use for my sig, but how do you expert sig makers think I should set it up? Where should I put text? How should I crop it? What can I do to make it look any better? Here's the pic: Any suggestions?

Did you lose cash or break even? Or gain cash? I lost about 1.5mil gp there =\ (2mil on runes, sold random dropd for 500kish).

From now on I'm just going to recycle Barrows runes when I go there. It costs too much just buy runes and go, but I really want to get my first Dragon drop 8) .

Just finished another trip, killed about 100 of them, and I didn't get a Dragon drop. So that totals 500+ (50/50 Irons and Steels), I guess I'm just not a lucky person :? .

First of all, your giving us random numbers (where the hell'd u get 20% increase?, and all those other numbers for that matter?) with no proof that the ring of wealth even helps anyone at all. Also, I've killed over 500 Steels and Irons, burning about 2mil in runes, and I havn't goten 1 dragon drop yet. A lot of these guys have done even more without a rare drop, so I'm pretty sure we have the right to be mad after waiting forever and spending who knows how much cash just trying to get 1 rare drop.

Ya, I was just hoping to find a way of training magic that doesn't burn a hole in my pocket and isn't monotonous and a waste of my life (alching, teleing, etc). Oh well.... :cry:

Ya, make sure you go with a lot of guys that know what theyre doing, especially the mage, because if he messes up you'll have problems. Go with an experienced and strong team (3-4+ people is enough), and just follow what the other person in you class -mage, melee, and range- does; thats how I learned to mage. And I can't stress this enough, always go with people who know what they're doing, I've nearly died too many times do to the careless errors of my moronic teammates.

First of all, I felt this was more of a discussion then a help/advice or rant thread, so I felt it was better in this Forum. If a mod disagrees, then alright, move it to a different Forum, I don't have a problem with that. Is it just me or are the dragon drop rates of Iron and Steel Dragons not really 1/75 and 1/50 reespectively? I recently started there, so I'm kind of new to it, but while I was down there I burned almost 13000 chaos runes killing about 400 Iron and Steel Dragons (80% Iron, 20% Steel), and the best drop I got was a Rune Battle Ax (with a wealth..). I spent almost 2mil on runes down there, hoping I'd get some Dragon drops to compensate, but has the drop rate really decreased? Or does God just hate me? (notice my sig, 93 combat, 1.5 years, and yet to have 1 dragon drop) -Side note: While I was down there a lvl 99 with 87 Magic said he went from 80-86 Magic down there without a single dragon drop. I can't prove its true, but just sayin'.

Ive got a cool Karma story- Back when the Tzaar pits were new, and everyone was down there, I was killing mons for an Obby shield drop. After a few days of training there (and still no drop) I met a lvl 50 newb, who was getting pretty well beaten upon by a Tzaar inhabitant. He almost died, but he barely won. I gave him a few cakes to help him out, and after a I gave them to him he told me he wanted to get some of those cool new ring ranging weapons. So, being the totally awesome guy I was I went to the store and bought a couple dozen rings and a few other things for him with the tokkul I had collected. He thanked me for about an hour -at least it seemed like it- then we went our own ways. About 15 seconds after that I was walking around down there, and on the ground I saw a pile of items, obviously dropped by a dead player (mind you not the same newb I helped, it was very different stuff). I picked up a Black beret and Black shield (g), and went on my way. :D The next day I got the Obby shield drop I had been dying to get for days. :D If thats not Karma I don't know what is :roll: .

Love training at Fire Giants (still hate range though :? )

1-2 hours a day, sometimes none (when I have soccer, etc) or sometimes 5+. Once I did 10 hours in a day on a Saturday, and ended up taking a month-long Rs hiatus. :lol:

I just bring a lot of supplies (50+ Prayer pots, lobbies, etc), use the general store at Mor'ton, and do 30+ trips before banking 8) .

Ill bring all the kegs I can too 8)

Hey, my Rs name is Rebdragon17 I'd think of some Bs sob story, but I'm too lazy for that, so I'm just going to tell ya the truth. The cash would really be helpful towards my 99 Magic and 80+ herblore goals. I know there are a lot of people who are more eligible for an invitation (lower levels with less cash, people who got "hacked", etc), but it'd be great if you could just consider me :D .

Sadly gender changing in Rs can actually be a good source of income. A few days ago I met another player at Cw who had a lvl 70 female avatar, when he was actually a guy. He was going around saying stuff like "looking for a bf!" and "your hawt ;)" and all that junk. I asked him to see what he'd goten out of it in about an hour, and he had 3 sets of full rune! :wall: :shock: -Btw, I hate this method of money making as much as I hate beggers (I guess this is a form of begging), so DON'T do it..... :roll:

How about all the people who just have a 0 in there name because its actually used in the username, unlike those 0o0Ooo_00o noobs. THough it would have been nice if Jagex had just made the Os wider then the 0s. Though isn't this a really old topic? And even at that doesn't this belong in the rants forum?

Its fine as is... if a bank was put there everyone would just be there all the time and would just go back to the bank if they ever needed anything. Barrows is meant to be hard; I really think Jagex doesn't needs to make it any easier. And yes, I have been to the Barrows before, and I've made over 15mil in 86 Barrows trips, so I have every right to say that the Barrows DON"T NEED A BANK.
