Ah, the good ol' Rs economy discussion. Thanks to a few people it looks like all the idiots babbling incoherently about information of which they have no natural grasp are gone, and good discussions have ensued. But rather then add another repitituous post , I'd just like to inform everyone of an extremely brilliant idea thought up by my good friend Mr Gandalf. A few months ago on the RSB he posted an idea in the Suggestions Forum (don't know if its still there with the Forum update, but last I heard it was on its 5th thread) titled 'Solution to Discontinued Items' that was created in order to counteract the massive inflation in the game, and solve the problem with the rares market. Basically, a shop would be set up that sold rares at current market value. 2 weeks before the shop was built Rares merchants would be informed that the items would become non-tradable, so they would have a chance to sell any rares they don't want. The shop itself would sell all the rares when it came out, but it would not buy them from players. With rares being sold for 100s of millions at the shop billions upon billions of gp would be flowing out of the economy every day, thus counteracting much of the inflation within the game from alching, the new game, etc. Jagex has tried to counteract inflation in the past (Barrows repairs, Crystal weaponry), but now we feel that a larger step must be taken to solve the problem of inflation. Now, before everyone goes crazy, this is only a basic summary of his idea (if I wanted to say everything he said I'd need 3 whole RSB pages). Also, this would be considered a last resort incase inflation severly damages the economy, because an update like this could make or break the game. Feel free to post your opinions about this idea. n_n (and try to read the whole post before posting your ludicrous idiocy)

Trojann, for the first game I've got a sweet idea- Everyone in Tip.it should go to Sara. Being the CW god you are I'm sure you know of this trick, but let me explain it to everyone else. All one has to do is go into the Sara portal on any random world. Then once they're in they log out and hop over to the Tip.it world. When they log in they'll still be in the Sara team portal, along with everyone else :twisted: . We'd have a game of 5000v10 :D . Then for the other games Tip.iters can go all out on eachother :wink: . (your dead Metallica :P ).

Once you get more experienced down there luring and killing Rex becomes a walk in the park :roll: . And Trojann, I may try bringing Guthans down there, if I feel brave enough :oops: .

Heres a pic of what I -used to- bring (may be earlier in the thread, I dont know. Oh well, here it is) After that pic I switched to Verac armor though, but its your choice. Verac has a Prayer bonus and hinders magic less then Torag, but Torag armor has better range defense (for the 76s). Your call.

If you want the Zombie random event a lot just go to Steel/Iron Dragons. I got 5 Zombie randoms in 1 trip (occurs when you bury bones, in this case, Dragon Bones). Then I went back and got it a bunch of times again the next trip :shock: .

Lieing... unless it only took you 20 minutes to get to the dags, fight them enough for two dragon axes and a zerker ring to drop. Duh :roll: . His story doesn't make any sense at any point within the plot. 89M to DKs? Lol. Going to the Dk's skulled? :lol: . And you need 9k deaths? Even the best Dkers can only get 700+ shots off (I get 400ish). Its dumb to bring a Mage's Book down there, Granite shields are better for their range defense against the 76's (any Dk killer has the common sense to know that). And its funny that you say that you got Rex drops and Supreme drops in 1 trip, seeing as how its usually a waste of time and extreme risk to go for both. Danman, if you're trying to make a joke, make it a little more obvious for everyone (maybe the 89M gave it away though 8) ) or if you're trying to lie about a fake experience at least make it believable.

:roll: He F2p Pk's. 0 xp in defence, I gota imagine that Barrowing would be hard, yet not impossible, with 1 defense (unless you use another account). You could do that, but playing at night like i do. You tend not to run into as many sarcastic people like some, which makes playing the game umm better. Yes, that is why I love playing at night. Another thing that attracts me to playing at night is there's not many people in popular training spots. I usually have private chat off though, just because I usually have to sneak out to the computer to play. :oops: Tsk tsk...

The biggest advice I have for the telekinetic theatre is to read something while you're doing it. Preferably a forum (RSB or here), because you can read about 1 post between each tele grab. Thats how I survived getting a Mage's Book :D .

Lol, I'm pretty sure that Jagex stated on RSB that they weren't going to be taking any gun suggestions. So basically, this thread is walking right into a dead end.

If you really hate the utter idiocy and selfishness of every player in Cw (I know I do) then try going to the events section on RSB, there are a few Castle wars "clans" there, try joining one of them :D . Maybe even join a regular clan that does Cw for an event.

I don't know where the rumors of those statistics came from, but their total BS. I killed 500 Steel Dragons with nothing better then a rune Mace drop. And unless someone gathered statistics from 100s of thousands of Fire Giant kills there's no way to really know how often they're dropped (I've gone over 3500 kills without a single Dragon drop yet). And guys, don't even bother trying to estimate Dusts Devil Chain drops. It'd take a near infinite number of recorded kills to actually get an accurate estimation.

I wasn't organized in any way. At all.

I go to the Barrows, Dagganoth Kings, and Metal Dragons for fun, good drops, and sometimes a nice adrenaline rush (gota give Jagex props for the Dagganoth Kings, seems like the only exciting place left in Rs besides KQ). Cw is always fun too, and I make a lot of good friends there. And Mage Training Arena is AWESOME Magic experience :D .

Infinity Boots and Dark Gloves, with those I'll finally break a +120 Mage attack Bonus 8) . (currently stuck at +118) Guthans and Dharoks (for all Barrows sets). A spare Mage's book and Seers Ring :P .

Sorry to say it, but the whining, good for nothing, s.o.b., worthless, ungrateful, begging noobs kinda ruined it for me.
