  1. That sounds like some really disturbing complex you've got there. It's like you think you're sister's bangin' but you're trying to put yourself in denial or something. ANYTHING in "Bring it On" is composed of raw, unadulterated evil.
  2. You know you're a nerd when...
  3. Thank you. Yeah. That's the point of "faith". Believing in something that can't be proven. No, other than the fact that it's somewhat illogical in a scientific sense, I have nothing against faith. It's when that faith propogates obviously false statements and ideas, resulting in the hindering of intellectual growth in those young and old, that I start getting ticked. Basically, I have no problem with someone believing in God or any other deity, but when that belief results in a further advancement of the stupidity of both the person and the rest of the human race, that factor involved in the faith needs to be ended. No?
  4. I just put the facts all over that rape mate. Which I'd like for you to concede to, rather than turning around and attacking me for being my usually assholish self. I'm not even an atheist, and I've learned to like Christianity from learning about it objectively and from within by the right people. Rather than despising Christianity itself, it's the stupidity of some believers, pathetically clinging to legends and made up information to prove their "faith", that I can't stand.
  5. No, justin's right. That's pathetic. Especially the way he described it, very creepy-like...
  6. It's not about the numbers, it's about the facts. And, quite frankly, the facts raped that legend. R A P E D.
  7. Where the [bleep] does a missing day come into calculations when we're estimating the history of the universe with an upper and lower bound variation of over 100 million years...? I mean, for crying out loud, that story is so [developmentally delayed]ed it makes the Creationist "scientist" who thought the earth would blow up from all the expected helium on it look like a genius. On your first point, just because a lot of people want to be ignorant together and believe what they do does not mean that they're stance is correct, especially if they aren't even going to follow the [bleep]ing scientific method. ["I expect you wrote tl;dr then deleted it"? Huh?]
  8. And what exactly is the point you're making? That because there are facts in the Bible, it's all true? So, if I wrote a book set in the era of the ancient Greeks and everything in it that had to do with Greek politics and battles and was verifiable turned out to be at least vaguely true, anything else I added in (verifiable or otherwise) would undoubtadly be fact as well? Let me get this straight. Using a few scientific errors in history, you're trying to disprove science? Jesus Christ. My eyes are bleeding. Irony. Read my above line again.
  9. Nah, he just grew a brain too fast. But that's a cutthroat debate for another thread.
  10. and if I ask her out and she said no and it ruined out friendship I bet you would feel stupid. think next time please? Cute. You should realize by now how sadistic I choose to be. I was planning for you to ruin your friendship. HA. HAHAHA.
  11. And therein lies the source of the problem.
  12. Maybe we aren't, but atleast I enjoy reading this, makes me feel somewhat more educated with all the new words I have to check etc :geek: And I honestly hope that after the next two thousand years we've solved this one for good. ( ) Small survey, raise your hand (or thumb) if you want to live forever! I was referring moreso to those two who seem to keep asking each other ambiguous questions without making any points in the process. For like the past five pages. No, that's stupid misunderstanding of the varying definitions of a word. You know, the kind that gets [bleep]ing old after 80+ pages of this.
  13. [bleep]ing ask her out you woosie. At that age you're either in senior year or college. Either way this shouldn't even be a question. We need a billboard put up either at in the OP or at the top of every page in this thread that says, in really big letters, CONFIDENCE. I may very well find such a billboard jpeg online and post it at the top of every page. Hmm...
  14. How old are you? I'm more keen to tell you to ask her out if you're older.
  15. But petrol smells awesome, so it must taste good, no?
  16. I just started reading "Air Gear". I think I'd like it if it wasn't for all the stupid fanservice. Which there is a lot of. Like, a lot people. More than enough that it doesn't surprise you why men are idealistic about womens' beauty and their own standards. Hmm. Maybe that's why I despise fan service...
  17. You realize you guys aren't getting anywhere, right?
  18. This is, of course, assuming any of you ever get any. BURN.
  19. [bleep] you, there are. If you like her enough, ask her out if you don't think doing so will hurt your friend. It's still the first semester of senior year, so even if you end up going to different schools you've got a year, and if you go to the same school, well, all the better if things turn out well. And in some stupid worst case scenario that the lot of you are probably thinking of right now, if things don't work out and you go to the same uni, campuses are kind of big (read: underexaggeration), so if you're scared to death of meeting her at college after being "rejected", err, don't. Remember though, if you stalk her I'll kill you, especially if you aren't good looking enough to get away with it. Considering stalkin's basically a mortal sin I'm pretty sure God'd forgive me.
  20. Ha, nowhere where Female-Female sex is illegal is Male-Male sex legal, but in the opposite case there are a couple dozen countries that legalize Female-Female sex but not Male-Male sex. Pfft, pervy male rulers we have, nay?
  21. Bleh, more anthropocentrism.
  22. Is it just me, or does anyone else get depressed by hearing the exact same story over and over again? No offense to you- I'm just seeing a pattern, and it makes me sad seeing the same stereotype (regardless of age) all over this thread. EDIT: Oh, ya N0M, my detector isn't going off here. Partially because I don't really see it in him (a reclusive, kind spirit?), but also partially because I don't think this guy is strong enough to be able to rape a girl.

I said that too, then I saw Saw 1, hooked. I personally wouldn't define it as horror or like scary stuff (as I usually think of horror as scary monsters and crap popping out of the dark corner of the room)... just kind of gory in places. Like, a lot of places.

Praise God my chem section doesn't meet today.
  25. Given the large amount of manuscripts present, why wouldn't you believe it to be true? Because they're copies of the same thing; much like the works of Homer and the Beowulf poet, just because there were a lot of them doesn't mean all the events portrayed in them are true to the point of fact. There's [basically] no other angles to look at the matter from, hence the bias and uncertainty, especially when adding the supernatural.
