Fine. Don't believe it. I honestly don't think Jagex tracks which account participated in which quest. It's probably not easy for Jagex to fix this. If there are numerous accounts by people who claim to have lost theirs, even if it's in all likelihood a fake attempt to get Jagex to give them a holiday event they missed, do you need to wear your holiday item THAT badly that you can't wait a day or two for Jagex to straighten it out? #-o It would make a lot of sense for them to track it, and would be incredibly easy. When you finish the event, it would simply turn a "false" value, linked to your account, to a "true" value. This is probably how they programmed diango to know what items you're entitled to. The same is probably also true for the scythe and bunny ears at the clothes shop lady. EDIT: With this, it would also be really easy for anyone who managed to illegally obtain a holiday item, to not be able to wear it.

transfering my items to another acct
Wow this topic is full of tools. Anyway to actually help(!) the original poster, if you were to drop trade between your accounts, you would not see the items in the second account. And pretty much any other way that you can think of to transfer items no longer works as well, it was part of the changes in a series of changes to combat runescape gold for real cash trading. And as all the brown-nosers pointed out, it does break the runescape rule where you are not allowed to have your accounts interact with each other. Although, I'm sure that all the little saints who started squealing ban have in fact transfered items between accounts before, I sure as hell have. (zomg report him to jagplex!) So to sum up, no you can't. What is in one account must stay in that account.

Do people realize...
Yes, thankyou for your wise and insightful input. It was greatly appreciated. Anyway, unfortunately, most RS players tend to not listen to facts and truths, and just do their own thing. By the way, just a question, if a guy is 1-iteming with a whip for example and dies with protect item on, does it count as him risking the 1m (or whatever it is that whips are worth these days) or 0gp?

PVP: To pray or not to pray
People are talking about the three 15% prayers and piety, I'm pretty sure noone is contesting the use of them. Obviously you sacrafice combat levels in order to give yourself a temporary boost in the level of your choice, no biggie. What we're discussing here mainly is the protection from X prayers. Of course you have the right to use them, but this doesn't change the fact that people who PK regularly find it ruins the fun of the PKing experience. It decreases the chance of anyone dying, both you and opponent, making F2p PKing even safer than it ever was. The same thing applies to "safing", of course you have the right to eat your food whenever you want, but if everytime you lose a bit of health, you eat yourself back to max, it's obvious that noone will die, unless one of you lags out... PKers chose not to "safe" as it increases the fun aspect of PKing, raising the risks, and enabling the already difficult f2p KO to be possible. Of course, you don't have to follow their rules, but don't expect them to want to fight you if you chose to protect from melee at any sight of danger.

Duel arena in pvp: ultimate f2p melee xp?
I tried this with a friend, so I can confirm that it does work, however for a main's XP, there are definately better ways for f2p. I didn't record any numbers or anything, so I have no conclusive evidence, but what it compared to was this, killing 2 moss giants or something of the sort, then stopping for a bit, while you and your opponent healed. Even with the healing lady near you, it just seemed inefficient. Plus the alter is a bit of a walk away, for it to be the best XP possible. I think in F2p, flesh crawler's and giant spiders are still better for a main, although more tests would need to be carried out for any real conclusion. For a pure, I can't comment.

Duel arena in pvp: ultimate f2p melee xp?
Source: http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarti ... cle_id=815 TOPIC CLOSED Fail. Just taken now. And as you can see from the top right, it is a regular PK area, you just can't duel. And the healer still works, I tester her. Now all you need to do is find a friend to try the XP.

PVP: To pray or not to pray
I like how people think protect from melee will actually help them kill someone. Protecting leads to only a few possibilities: 1. The other guy protects, leading to a fight where the max hit is like 10. 2. The other guy runs away. 3. The other guy stays, then one of you teleports when you run out of food. Oh, good fun. You're free to protect pray against me, I just won't fight you. It's not like it even helps you to win. I'd much prefer using the attack and strength prayers and then having an actually fun(!) fight.

Forget this degrade BS, F2P now deserves dragon weapons...
Who cares if we don't appreciate them? As for that matter, where are you pulling this assumption from that members don't appreciate dragon weapons? I certainly appreciate my dragon scimitar, goes very well in combination with a rune defender for training strength. F2P don't deserve to get things that fall down the P2P ladder when new equipment comes out, in fact F2P don't deserve anything full stop. You are like one of those children who have a toy that they never play with but then have a tantrum when their parents want to give it away. -Player since 2003. Anyway, dragon weapons would, I think, end up being quite overpowered in f2p. Really, better offensive weapons are not needed, although I do know what you mean about it being difficult to kill someone in f2p. For me, f2p pking has always been about "Low risk, Low rewards", while p2p has been "high risk, high rewards." And by the way, a good f2p pker can do not bad at all, if he knows what he's doing. By the way, corrupt dragon doesn't seem to be completely useless. I can see the dragon battleaxe becoming a decent ko weapon, with 15 more strength than an r2h (18 if you combine it with a rune [bleep]y sheild). And you only have KO weapons out for a few seconds at a time, so that half hour would last quite a bit, if I am not mistaken.

Runescape Resizable Window.
Unless I am mistaken, this is what you did isn't it? (stretched the window as wide and short as possible) [hide=Page stretcher!][/hide] In that case there is absolutely no advantage, you see nothing that noone else does. Look in that view then resize your window to a normal size, you will see exactly the same thing, it will just be stretched. It's an illusion. If anything, it is a disadvantage, rather than an advantage, simply because of how impractical it is.
