(usually by other guys in female accounts) One of my friends who used to play RS a long time ago had an RS sugardaddy. My friend (a guy) had a girl account and had a rich-[wagon] boyfriend who used to give him partyhats and anything else he wanted regularly :lol: One day one of my other friends told the boyfriend the truth, we never heard from the boyfriend again. Another friend of mine who doesn't play any more as well had a similar situtation, except more of favours than just flat out free junk (this was after the new trade limits). One day he turned his character into a chick for whatever reason and from then on there would always be a guy or two trying to help him out in whatever way. Funny to watch :lol:

Amazing that everyone is saying what a stupid idea, before saying "Well I might pick up one of those..." I don't waste my money, that's just me, but don't go around saying that anyone who buys this stuff will get assulted while going to buy some yourself. Jagex are smart people, they arn't going to invest all this money in manufacturing a bunch of products if they think anyone who buys them will get rolled.

See now you don't know something, anyway, they were originally dropped in 2002 like the pumpkins and christmas cracker and stuff, and then in easter 2008 event, they returned as a bonus after you completed event, you could get more chocolate for the bunny in return for another easter egg, there were 3 available. Didn't they melt away? nah, see now you can't tell me I'm not informed of the runescape world... The easter eggs could be eaten, and they were considered rare as well, even rarer tho, cause almost all of them are gone from eating. Something I need to clear up here. The original easter eggs are different to the recent easter eggs. The original ones were dropped in 2002 as (I believe) the first holiday event, and are tradable today, and a worth quite a bit of money. The eggs you are thinking of are not the same. They are untradable, look completely different and are a completely different item. They also turned into "chocolate dust" once the event was over. These recent eggs were also given out in '06 ot '07 when you had to give out Easter eggs to other players for the bunny (great event by the way, people actually giving holiday presents to each other rather than calling each other noobs was a beautiful thing). So yeah, 2 different items. One worth a lot and given out in RS1, one given out recently and has no real value as no account will legally have one in it. They dropped scythe twice and they gave Scary emote as a reward for completing halloween event in 2006 and 2007. Scythes were never droped twice. They were just dropped for two days instead of one. The reason being, that when they were dropped the first time most players were not logged on in america. Yes I believe what happened here was that the drops were done on the one day by the Jagex employees and a lot of Americans ended up missing out, leading Jagex to be barraged by whining. They redid the event for the first time ever, but it upset them how people were acting over what was support to be a fun event so they did not do anything for any holiday until christmas 2004, over a year. Just a little RS history and clearing up of things in case anyone's interested :P

What about varrock sewers? That's all multi and could be quite chaotic, and if you win you can go kill some mossies :P

Hate to jump on the bandwagon but Nooooooooo. The whole idea of holiday items is for a fun event at the time, but for the future to show others how long you've been playing.

You do realise the whole reason they talk like that is to annoy you into following their rules that that you're easier to kill, right? Example: A regular pker is fighting someone who rarely pks. Non-Pker eats Pker: Safe noob This will incline the non-pker to be less likely to safe eat, and seeing as he won't be as experienced in PKing as the other guy, will be more likely to undereat and die. The PKer gets free armour because the other guy doesn't want to be a noob. People make these topics because they get upset for not following the PKer's rules, which is silly because it means you are winning, by not following their rules. The PKer just wants you to be easier to kill, it's that simple. You can either follow the rules and not be flamed, but stand a larger chance of dying, or you can do what you want and expect to get flamed, in return for your safety. It really just depends how often you PK for which one you chose.

I just want to see where the new "Axe Hut", "Castle" and "Greaters" will be. I guarantee you, all the good XP spots will have a clan there. This will be great. :D And maybe if we're reeeally lucky, they'll make the wildy rev-free in the PK worlds. (I just want the f2p ice giants training spot back, where you arnt attacked by some level 120 ghost every 5 minutes :( ) I am definately looking forward to this update. Off Topic: I have to say, 2008 is turning out to be a great year for RS. Especially after the updates of late '07, which I was very critical of. I really have to hand it to Jagex though, very nice. EDIT: And finally, Clans have a use in RS again! I mean, after the wilderness was taken out, there was really very little that you could do competitively in a clan. But this should change a lot.

Where's it say RSC was deleted? I was just on rsc a few minutes ago. Its still there. I'm pretty sure he ment "Sure it [your RSC account] hasnt been deleted?" Oh and I hate these threads, they make me miss RS1, if only my account would still work on it :(

Ever opened a christmas cracker before? You get paper hats like the ones in RS, whether they're called partyhats or not I don't know, but that's what they are.

That's how the dungeons have always worked for as long as I can remember. You could always go to the edge of walls and peek into other rooms. Although the two dungeons arn't really next to each other in the story of the game, only on the map (if you get what I mean) wouldn't it be hilarious if they just made the frozen door be the other side of the mith door :lol:

I suspect the first day's rise was due to price manipulation, since it was so sudden. But the rest due to the fact that people are idiots. They see a rise a like that and think "OMG it's cause of santa suits! They will raise the price of santas and here is proof!" So they buy up like nuts, at max price, trying to "Get it quick before it reaches 50m!". Then, when the original manipulators seem to have enjoyed themselves enough, they reverse the process, causing first day of it falling. Then, the people see the [bleep]e and go "HOLY CRAP WE WERE WRONG!" So they all sell their 'investment's at minimum price trying to "Get rid of it before it reaches 5m!". While the smart people make a quick buck from the chaos. I accidently sold my santa for 19m, for example :P I've got a free acount with no bank space so I thought I'd put my Santa in the GE at max price, intending to cancel it straight away and for it not to sell, because I was planning to go to BH. Instantly it sold for 19m or so. :o So I went onto that GE graph for santas on the RS website and saw that it had been rising at 5% each day for a few days. So I suspected it would tumble back down in a few days, just like the start of the year. So I'm planning to pick my santa back up after a few days of the "ZOMG SELL AT MIN" crash. :D If your smart, you can profit from other people's actions. ;)

You don't know what you're talking about. In RS1, it was doable at level 7, which was the lowest level you could be and have telegrab, to grab the map (buying it was introduced in RS2). You simply made sure that you weren't attacked and then maged the dragon while standing behind something. Numerous people did it at the time. (and I just looked, theres a video on youtube of a level 6 doing it in RS2)

I was PKing with a large team a few years ago and I had to go so I logged out at greaters, skulled in full rune. Not the best idea, I know. So anyway, as a level 70 or so, I log in later and theres a clan of level 100s+ around me. :lol: Dead.

I don't know if you noticed, but as a game, Runescape is boring as hell. It has no story, so it would make a dodgy RPG and as a console game, "training" would require you standing in one spot and pressing "A" or "X" is playstation is chosen :P over and over... It'd be a chat game.

Since the dawn of online gaming. in RSC wasnt the currency actually GP? and they just changed it with RS2 Nope. Always been coins, as long as I've been playing anyway.

I just think it's great that f2p now has a teleport to Draynor \
