Hmm, I tried to put a christmas cracker on my head, but there's no 'wear' option ;) I don't really think that a blue party hat is 3x rarer than a yellow, nor a red mask twice as rare as blue. Probably wrong on that, but I'd say the prices are at least 50% due to looks. I don't know exactly how rare the party hats are, but I do know why some colours are more expensive than others. In rs1, there was some player who found out how to duplicate items. At that time the Pink(known now as purple) party hats were the most expensive and blues were the cheapest. So when they got duping, they naturally duped the most expensive ones the most, completely switching the order of the prices (and crashing the economy while they were at it :P ). So now, blues ARE the rarest as they were duplicated the least and purple are the cheapest as they were duplicated the most, so there are more of them. Was a chaotic time. Good fun. :lol:

Over the past year or so I've been secretly working on a pixel sig on and off, adding a few things here of there whenever I felt like it. So sitting here stuck with a cold, I thought I may as well put it up and see what people thought, hopefully get a bit of CC. And excuse the big transparent "YAZIYO", I'd just rather some guy didn't take it and put his name in the corner, like I've seen happen before #-o The earliest version I have: A later version: I've got a few ideas on what to do to it. I thought I'd change the wooden legs of the table to cinderblocks, which would give it a different effect, I was going to put up that Palestinian flag on the wall and then just continue with the texturing and shading. I was also thinking of cheating a little with the ground and making it look more ground like with photoshop, rather than do it manually with paint. What do you think? And it is still very much a work in progress, as you can tell. So any advice or ideas are welcome!

Has anyone played Knight Online before? These new graphics really remind me of that game, which I havn't played in like 2 or 3 years :P Anyway, that's pretty damn sexy. Shame that I'm f2p for the time being so I'll need to wait for my PS1 graphics :(

This reminds me of a few stories I've heard over the years. Like my friend whos like 18 or 19 now and used to play RS a while ago, with a girl character. My mate, Adam (known online as Jess) had a sugar daddy who would hive him/her party hats and [cabbage] whenever (s)he wanted. One day one of his friends told his boyfriend that he was actually a guy. He (the sugar daddy) never logged back on. :lol: Wonder what happened to him... Or my friend (another guy) was telling me about his girl character on wow. Someone called him gay for having a girl character, and he had the best response: "I'd rather stare at a girl's arse than a guy's for 60 levels."

You know, if everyone just chipped in 10-100k of needles (you can buy instantly from the crafting store in al kharid, Buy X and stackable) you could get a large number in the bank screen relatively easily. If it is at a reasonable time for me, I would love to attend. :lol:

They had this article in smh as well (Sydney Morning Herald, Sydney's version of the age), I read it a week or so ago. Anyway, I think their description of the game is pretty accurate. However, Runescape has something that LOTR doesnt have, social interaction. A child is going to learn a lot more (both negative and positive) from other people than from a movie. I registered for RS 5 years ago when I was 11 or 12, and I would say that it definately wouldn't be advisable for a child under that age (and probably a bit older) to play, based on what I see whenever I log on. The fact that you can't go anywhere without seeing a penis in the chat window (Q q p.. you know the one) would definately make a parent think before letting a preteen child play.

Ranged and Magic doesn't affect your combat level unless they're better than your melee stats. I've gotta agree with highlander. By getting summoning levels, if you are not using them in combat, they are false levels. The same applies to prayer. If you get for example 50 prayer and don't use it in combat, those levels you got from the prayer levels are false. If you DO use summoning or prayer however in combat, then it's a different story. ok max your melee stats while having 1 magic and ranged and tell me what your combat level is i betcha it's lower that someone with those maxed out too In RS1. That's probably why they're doing it.

There are probably better ways, but when I was a member, I found killing green dragons to be fast and easy cash. As well as not being boring as hell (cough yews cough). With your stats you will tear them up quickly, use very little food and make the cash quite easily. There are a bunch of guides on it in the guides forum, go check a few out and you'll find it's really easy. :)

This is my 1st try at pixel art, im currently downloading a imagingprogram so i can give it a funky background and some decent looking text but atm thsi is what I'm planning: This picture with a background (maybe green or blue) then ill add text that says "Yaziyo" and "Always Unaware" (thats the whole point of the monster behind the warrior guy) and possibly a border. So I'm after suggestions to the background and stuff and rate it please.
