Color it once all in black and white shades only except the gerbil in color, this shows the difference in a normally normal scene. :) In a second version, color the same sig again all in color. Probably the fastest way is to just color in real colors then switch the view to black and white (MSpaint has it I think).

As I said before, that pic IS great sig material. The expressions through the poses are very natural and good. You could practically finish sketching the right guy, add some black and white text, and you're done. Just because you're a pixel sigmaker doesn't mean you NEED a pixel sig for yourself. :P "No gerbil no play"?

This has been posted a billion times and as said before, Andrew and Paul are OK with sigselling. As long as people don't do dumb stuff like advertising ingame "selling signatures for gp press 444 to buy 10k each", it's unreportable but it also does not harm anyone. Even if it was officially against RS rules, it's not hard to discuss selling a sig entirely in a random forum or IM and only making a trade without chat in RS.

Wow nice, if you made that in just Paint that's awsome. The only things that look unrealistic and weird are the robot's fingers but everything else is great, specially the lighting. Did you use any pic references? Interesting to see your future work. :)

Awsome proportionate and natural looking character. Awaiting final colored version, interested in seeing how you could incorporate a BG with it. I'm also glad that the sword looks physically possible and isn't as big as the empire state building. :)

Art is probably one of those things that doesn't matter what age you are, you can still compete with anyone, learn from anyone, discuss, and such just because it's specifically about something that has no age requirements. Some people don't even play RS and just come to this media board for the art alone so I don't see why they shouldn't be allowed to discuss art here if that's all they want to do. As far as I know, tipit is run by people older than "childrens" age, age shouldn't matter in a game and surely not in art. It's always nice to learn from more experienced people or help out newcomers. Of course people with wrong intentions shouldn't visit these places but tipit seems pretty safe about that. Purpose of signatures in boards? Adds color to an otherwise blank forum, a part of that person he/she can show visually. You could say it's like our alternates to RL pics, any kind of sig, it's always there while you talk to keep everyone from looking like the same exact person even if you know they arent the same. Gives a nice sense of individuality, diversity, and expression. Of course not everyone likes the same, but this would be for people who want to know why they use sigs in boards.

they put the things there before humans existed. Pet worm is asking how come they aliens didn't just take over Earth when they buried the machines when no one was around, why wait till humans appear to try to take it over? As someone else speculated, maybe they were fine in their homeplanet and didn't need the Earth till now.

You pile grenades under it and jump in while someone tosses a nade on top of the pile ;) THAT is much more entertaining than having one that flies with no effort whatsoever because it's a challenge to get some of the goals you have set for yourself :P It can take mannnnnny tries to bounce it on top of a building intact, but when you do it you'll find yourself letting out a warcry :P And what's better? None of my friends complain about it... if I'm playing a team game with 7 other friends and I waste 10 minutes getting a warthog ontop of a building for a decent turret sniper spot they wont whine because they know I spent 10 minutes on it x.x 30 seconds later... you get sniped. :wink: Also, you can't bounce vehicles in H2 anymore since they're distructable. Ahh the fun of H1 where you could send every hog and ghost out of the edge of Blood Gulch and drive them around up there. 8) In H2 a lot of people try to perfect bugs such as super bouncing (jumping really high to land on top of a map, hard to do - good sniping), but those don't interest me at all even if they are "legal". I'm just not going to spent 10 minutes of my life not having fun to get on top of some place where I can't kill anyone without a sniper.

Haha I knew it, two from you too, that guy is sig craza. :shock: On the update - the legs on the alive guy are HORRIBLE, the shading on them stinks, there's only one color (white), and the legs lineart looks like you spent 2 seconds on them. JK. Really, the sig is still looking great so far, great texturing/shading at same time (tough to do), proportions all good, still waiting for final sig. :x

Looks nice, sort of reminds me of that evil guy in The Incredibles, that guy was sort of demented.

Indeed, the narrator explaining the ending which could have been incorporated into the movie for about 15-30 more minutes, the son should have died, he somehow survives huge blasts and manages to make it accross the land unharmed, maybe even killing the Boston family and leaving Ray and his daughter to be the only ones left in the family or something. Now that I think about it, couldn't the aliens have some kind of alien disease they were immune to and have killed all the humans, sort of like when the Europeans brought their diseases upon the America's people when they first invaded?

Well they never found out what destroyed the aliens, only the narrator explained it to the audience in the end. They found out the shields were down when they saw the birds land on the machines.
