  1. WARNING - possible spoilers. Hightlight my stuff if you have seen the movie. If not, I recommend watching it. :) Just saw it today, I liked it a lot until they reached the last city and someone who was supposed to have died somehow survived and somehow made it safely to the same place, completely killing the purpose of feeling the loss, I also would have liked if the people had found out themselves why the aliens died, not just a narrator explaining the end. I haven't read the book, but they could have also said something about why the world is being invaded by those red vines (besides how they came about to be which is explained in the movie). In conclusion, movie was great till they reached the last city.
  2. Both of those people have NOTHING better to do, that's how sad they are. Their pathetic thirst for a mere label, barely a level, ruins the game for everyone else. Cheater's mind - Hell yeah I spent 15 hours of my life doing nothing fun at all but I'm level 40 TS so I am teh halo god with da skillz, please praise, fear, worship me. If that's the only pride they have in life, they've got to turn off their Xbox and see no one really gives a crap. Level seldomly equals skill in H2, it only helps match you to people who've been winning or losing as much as you. These people are just desperate for some kind of achievement award without actually working toward that achievement. Who would win in that? Hopefully they'll both wipe themselves out and leave us people who want to have fun play.
  3. Looks great, cool 3d BG but the building has slightly too much perspective, its right side is way too small even with depth perception. Adding a few cast shadows for the people on the bridge would really help. Great job. :)
  4. There's a lot of great Americans, but for the top Presidents I'd have to say Washington, FDR, Lincoln. Reagan nowhere as close in my list.
  5. Sometimes it's not just young people who get scared, older people and adults may also be disgusted by blood and gore. About the wip, looks great but I'll wait for the final piece before commenting further. :)
  6. Not sure what exactly is going on here (haven't read topic), but I'm just waiting for the final entries before judging anything at all. Would be really cool if the topic name was changed to "Sigs posted, judge now!" and edit first post to have both sigs so we don't have to keep checking when or where the sigs are posted. As far as bias goes, trying to make someone win/lose is beyond any reason for me, I'm just gonna make sure both contestants can improve from their past, now bribes on the other hand...... ......jk :o

I hear ya mate, people seem to think you're weird if you think a truck driver is a good job, but it truly would be amazing, driving for hours upon end with the wind in your hair, getting to see so many different places, and eating chunky breakfasts every day :D Actually truck drivers seem to be payed quite well for what they do, and you'd get to visit the entire country. As long as you like it, doesn't matter what everyone else thinks (chances are they're not enjoying their own job if they diss other people). :) Lately I wanted to be an Architect, I have done a few model buildings in the past, but I've come now to Mechanical Engineering which is the next thing that I'd want to do.
  9. The perspective on the character+chair doesn't match the one with the mirror and everything on the right wall. The camera on the left part of the sig is about a standing person's eye level, the camera on the right side of the sig; however, seems from a much taller point and looking sharper down. The diagonal lines from the floor tile should all be coming out from some distant focus point according to perspective, not parrallel in an angle. A tiny thing easy to fix is the side wall within the mouse hole, it should be located on the other side. :) You'd have to rework either half of the sig to make the perspective fit everywhere, but the long sacrifice is well worth the right outcome. :)
  10. I'm gonna have to use that saying "don't fix it if it ain't broke", I really like the original one more. I liked the dark BG contrasted to the light blast. I definetely liked the original text more, the second one seems a bit unprofessional compared to the original. The sky on the second one seems a bit flat even with the shading (outlines on clouds hurt it). The outlines also hurt the second one a bit since on the original sig, they are barely noticeable (good thing), in the second one for example, the outlines are really sharp on the blast weapon. The armor is very cool on the second one, perhaps you could draw it in a different sig instead of changing it on the original one? In the end, I like the original one more because of the contrast in brightness, the dark BG, and the themed red color throughout the character. :)

Jak - just keep drawing. :) Ice - Afraid the top bid now (if it's not CK again) is gonna be too gory for tipit. :!: Punk - Thanks, yeah her face was originally like 70% as big so I had to expand and clean up the lines since I didn't want to remake it all, I guess goofy could be part of my castooney style. :) Wise - Yeah I always had PS but I just don't like it (not saying it's bad), demand has forced me to learn how to do text on it, thanks to some help. :) Komodo - Well price (6m this one, 5m last one) sort of only seems to depend on high much you want to wait now, as people outbid each other to be in the top few sigs, still, the bigger size actually helps me a bit and having things less crunched together. :) Godslayer - Thanks, read all the CC from everyone including yours, and I've come to the realization that there's no point trying to finish these sigs faster, I just can't keep up with the outbidding and demand. People will just have to wait, but I will also be providing even more work on sigs now. I get a few people asking me about a possible sig almost every day, and I'm sorry I don't have enough time to make low bidders sigs, these rich people keep outbidding everyone (slayer skill??). Lord - Yeah, tried to make the concept of quantity over quality for the KBD and quality over quantity for the steel dragon (smithable?), but in the future I'll keep that in mind. :) Gandorf - I know what you mean, I tried making the edge continue down below the circle of the door, but it looked weirder in the end, so left it as it was. :) MrsChrystler - I started pixeling July 2004, so just about one year. Most of my skill I'd say I already had from RL experience in drawing and art, just had to get used to the PC factor. And about the RL money, someone offered $30+ for a sig, I don't know if that's good for a sig (8+ hours of work for 30+ hm), but I already got a job, so mainly focusing on RS gp. Here's my first sig from July last year: Nice quote from a certain cool game, never sold and never will, don't want trash running around the forums. :P First SOLD sig (10k gp woot) to buyer who PMed recently he got it July 20th: TJ - Thanks, that shadow was tough to do, just tried my hardest. I've stumbled upon your latest unposted sig, I could say the same about yours. 8)

  13. Either use "buddys" as standalone as the original maker probably wanted them to be, or make your own characters from scratch. Bad quality, only save in png (upload in imageshack for auto-save in png).

  15. Heh, the pink background is so I can see any misplaced brush strokes due to the contrast. Yeah figured so, never ment to offend on the joke but I just couldn't resist. :)

  20. Nice character, kinda really bright compared to the rest of the sig but I guess it's a nice way to stand out. Her eyes look kind of weird, are they supposed to be closed or looking somewhere? I think if you drew her eye lids closed down as if "yep my job is done here" kinda feel, it could work well. I'll wait to see final sig to comment more. :)
  21. The shield is a little narrow, and I think his shoes are too pointy, but they doesn't look bad. Quite a cool character, but that line above his head is annoying. :wall: <- first time I get to use this guy My guess for the cookie: He's holding a hotdog :?:
  22. Put someone who is going to fight melee, completely unarmed, maybe some type of ninja with mad skillz. Maybe robes, or something light. Make sure to make his face confident looking to show that he doesn't need weapons to fight even that fully loaded fellow. Maybe change the barrows guy to look slightly worried or scared, as if he's not sure why the ninja isn't afraid of him and is confident to fight unarmed. Will he be pwned? Is he bluffing? Let the sig viewer decide, an out of ordinary sig that makes people think. :) EDIT: Add a bunch of other dead barrows guys around to show he's the "last of the barrows", the others were pwned by the unarmed guy, and his next target is this last remaining barrows. Will he be the exception?
  23. Arms are a bit too thick proportionally to the body, focus on your characters for now, then practice your BG's. Pretty ok BG, the grass color is just too bright I think.
  24. Yeah the light outline on the person is too bright, try just using black or a dark shade of the blue you used for the outfits. Add some shadow under ground under her feet to show she's standing on the ground and not floating. The lighting on the green ground should be slightly opposite since the moon is at the far side, so the lightest grounds should be at the farside too, getting darker as the ground approaches the person and the building. A nice addition would be a simple border, a few pixels wide (preferably non-light color) to enclose the pic. :) Character looks still need work but it comes in practice through time. Just try to add a few shades, focusing on each part of the body separately as to not get overwhelmed with shading the entire body at once.
