Why 2012? December (21st I think?) 2012 is just the end of a cycle on the Mayan calendar. It happens to be the final cycle and is supposed to be the end of the world. Many predictions from other people and civilizations have come and gone with time. This is just the closest and when it passes they'll find some new doomsday date from legend and myth. That's where the 2012 came from, but I have no idea how it fits in with this theory or who even came up with this. it better not be the end of the world! i graduate in 2012!!! :x
