  1. Umm... I looked at the link, but I'm still confused. Is it some sort of financial aid thing? "Generation TX is a statewide, grassroots movement focused on creating a culture of college and career education that leads to the most successful generation ever." Kind of. It's like a guide that tells you when you need to apply for things and what options there are for paying for college. You know, basically everything they've been telling kids since middle school but in the form of "a statewide, grassroots movement focused on creating a culture of college...".
  2. I hate how I'm automatically going to be counted as a success for this "Generation TX" thing that Texas decided to come up with. I get nothing out of it, but I get included into statistics that makes Texas say "IT'S WORKING!".
  3. People who post about Runescape in my OT.

I agree that the kids need to stay on the sidewalk, but screw helmets. Those things suck. A helmet didn't protect me when I flew head first over my handlebars. A helmet didn't protect my friend when he rode into a parked car and broke his arm. A helmet didn't protect my cousin when she fell into a cactus. Plus they make you look like a nerd who seems incapable of riding without somehow landing on your head every 5 minutes.

My parents asked why I had a 75 in my English class. Somehow they thought that my English class was just some class that tells you the difference between to, too, and two or their, there, and they're. I actually had to show them a prompt of one of my better essays to get them to get off of my back about "A class about a language that I've been speaking forever."

I hate the word "swag". Moxie is so much better.

Rewriting lab reports is a bunch of crap when the teacher gives an entire packet for the sole reason of typing out every word in a worse format. We have to type the procedure in paragraph form instead of in a list which makes absolutely no sense when the packet he gives us is already in a list!.

    What?
  9. Because I refuse to live in a world where 30 degrees is hot.
  10. People who take pictures of themselves in mirrors. Is it really that difficult for you to ask somebody to take a picture of you?
  11. This. Or at least return to cod 4 killstreaks, where they weren't op and you couldn't bank them. I agree that you shouldn't be able to keep your killstreaks between rounds but they really aren't a problem if you use a perk that makes you invisible to AI or if you just move inside of a building.
  12. It sounds like only the people using the assualt packages would be getting air support, or at least air support that covers more than one part of the map. Then again, you could always play in the Barebones playlist and play without any killstreaks/pointstreaks.

My marching band got a 1st division at a UIL competition today, and I went to go eat at TGI Friday's with my parents. So good day today.
  14. I hate when my dad shuts down the computer instead of just logging off.
  15. I think the assault and support packages are nice. The specialist package sounds annoying as hell to deal with though.

Some people take sports way too seriously...
  17. I hate the feeling of feeling like I have to throw up and the actual act itself but damn it feels relieving when it's over. This must be how anorexic people cope.

Why is my mom so unreasonable? She was going to give me her old iPhone for personal use but when I want to take the useless thing and exchange it for something we can actually use she says that she'd rather sell it for money and keep it in the bank. She won't even listen to me when I tell her that even if a place does give you cash for the phone it probably won't even be half of what you could get in store credit... So now the thing sits in her drawer, constantly losing value by the second.
  19. If I'm going down in the rapture then this is the song I'm going to listen to as the world ends around me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HO28pvdkyJI
  20. So... Who's ready for that rapture?
  21. I think replacing the streets with the track would be enough ;) Do you have any idea how much time and money that would take?

Unfortunately, today's parents are deadly combination of paranoid, lazy, and cheap. They don't want their child walking in fear of child molestors and kidnappers, they don't want to drive their children to school themselves, and they don't want to pay a fee for the bus.
  23. Riku3220 replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
I'm pretty sure they pay taxes for it so I would be pissed off too if I had to pay it. Every school in Texas doesn't recieve funding for bus routes within 2 miles of the school.

It's hilarious how people are getting their panties in a knot over "having" to pay a fee to ride the bus to school and home if you live within 2 miles of the school. The kicker? It's optional. If you don't want to pay then you don't have to. Either you can drive your child to school or they can walk like they've already been doing for the last 2 years Not even kidding. Parents are whining about having the choice of paying for a service that we didn't have in the first place.
  25. Somebody should tell her about the magical "Print Screen" button.
