October 9, 201114 yr Post your favorite words. I'm very curious to see if favorite words are highly individual or go across many people. Mine is probably egad. It's just so hilarious to hear/see people use it. I remember a post on the Faith/Religion thread by someone and it went something like: "to stop possible male and female fraternization (egads!)" :lol: So, what's your favorite word and why?

October 9, 201114 yr the one word(in english) that came to mind is "coitus", made famous by Sheldon Cooper (for me at least) from Big bag theory. Just because every time he uses that word, everyone feel uncomfortable.
October 9, 201114 yr Melancholia. It's contradictory how a word that sounds pleasant is a synonym for depression. Another few would be raze, avaricious, and vaccinate. Creepy how I have a liking for words that refer to pain, suffering, and any of that sort...
