  1. Me too. Once again, don't smoke.
  2. and you say that you're not a girl eeh? ;) I have the same problem with Korla, but mcqueen is just pushing it :P That is because it is his last name, lol.
  3. Here's a funny thing. I read this article before you posted it on this thread. I was like...What the Fudge. I didn't really see the point of the article. It is not like people do not know what radical Muslims are. I like how it never addresses that most Muslims are like that (I didn't see it...). O well.
  4. Colts 28-17 I think the Bears only have a chance if their offense performs....for more than one drive.
  5. link here Just had to do it. Nonetheless, I think marijuana is bad for you. Another thing:
  6. Ridiculous! Persecution! Persecution? to pursue with harassing or oppressive treatment, esp. because of religion, race, or beliefs; harass persistently. You....think...people..are...persecuting you for being Christian! You want to know persecution? Holocaust... What the Romans did to the Christians...Palestinian people in Israel. You think because someone comes along and calls you a fool for believing in God (which is wrong because you should not blindly call someone's religion foolish), you think you are persecuted. Ha! Situation: They call you a fool for having no proof. You respond: Well it is enough for me. I believe what I believe and you can do what you want. I encourage you to have a second thought, but I understand your position. Thanks, bye. You guys are both at fault...but persecution? You want to know why they are stiff towards Christians? Because most of the time you are rubbing it in their face that they are going to Hell according to your belief. It's ridiculous! Both sides have their faults. Theists: Don't rub it in their face Atheists: Don't retaliate and look at it from their side. Did you read the title? It said Christians/other religions. You are Muslim, no? Apparently you fell under the /other religions part of this. It is meant for us to discuss if we believe any religious believe is treated unfairly. Yes, 'zealots' do attack and flame the hell out of Atheists/Agnostics for how they view things. Especially the 'Jesus Freaks' that shove their religion down the throats of others. It's not wrong for you to stand up for what you believe in, but it does have it's limits. Also Atheists will do the same that they accuse any religious person of doing. Really both sides may attack each other. Because I am a theist does not mean I have to agree with you. Personally, I do not feel discriminated on this forum. So you admit that Christians are at fault along with the Atheists! Yet you did not mention this in your original post. Perhaps it is because you want to slant the argument and feel smug about yourself?
  7. Have you guys even considered that parents might have gone to work, so the kids have absolutely no way to get to school besides walking 8 miles. What about kids that have broken bones? The tardies and absents would be ridiculous.

  9. He laughed at me before ruthlessly shattering my illusions. :( Ha, that woulda been funny if he lied and said in a couple of years. Guy btw
  10. That is a good one. I've heard it before Btw, this? Coming from a guy who plans to go to Harvard (Irulepoker)!! :uhh:
  11. However, my beleif does tolerate many religions as long as they tolerate other peoples beleifs. Intolerant religions are exclusivley intolerant. I am intolerant only to intolerant religions e.g. extremists. Regardless, you are still choosing what to be intolerant of, and what to be tolerant of. Once again, by saying "my belief does tolerate many religions as long as they tolerate others" you are implying that tolerating many is intrinsically good. To use your words, you are also "exclusively intolerant." You are intolerant to everyone who does not share the same belief you do about tolerance, just as intolerant religions are intolerant towards people who don't share their religious beliefs. Both you and intolerant religions are being intolerant towards people who believe something different because they believe something different. However, you are attempting to assume that intolerance towards intolerance is intrinsically better than another kind of intolerance, yet at the same time you want to say that "tolerance" is not an absolute good. If tolerance is not an absolute good, then your intolerance is just as bad, and just as exclusive towards beliefs that you don't agree with. Dude..... :ohnoes:
  12. I usualy don't do this buut I'm genuinly currious: You said that you used to live in isreal and talked about going to school there. If your from isreal than how did your dad go to west point, an incredibly prestigous and hard to get into military school? I mean.. especialy if you used to live in Isreal. Isn't it obvious? Magic. Yeah, his dad was a magician and gave birth to a troll.
  13. all for it here. We took a field trip to a water treatment plant once. Long time ago though
  14. No, but I lived near D.C. Like extremely close. We had a school lock-down and junk.
  15. Not entirely, but that is not an excuse to disobey them.
  16. Yeah, that's sort of my point except....I attempt to explain my argument. :)
  17. So, if one country has it legal, why don't the others? Are you saying that because the Netherlands has it legal (to some extent) it is a worse country? The Netherlands actually has less of a drug problem than the US, and the legalization of marijuana may have attributed to this. Not the point. It just means that the US and the Netherlands have different views on drugs. The fact that the Netherlands has less of a drug problem is not because of the legal use of marijuana. I never said the Netherlands is a worse country. I don't even know where you got that from. So, are you telling me you never break the law? So, you file your taxes when you mow your neighbors lawn? You never cross the street where there isn't a crosswalk? You always drive the speed limit? Believe me, you break the law more than you know it. You aren't the "perfect" citizen you claim to be.But I try. Is it wrong to break minor laws by accident? No. But be prepared to get hit by a car. It is one thing to break a law knowingly, but it is an entirely different thing to break it accidentally.
  18. Well obviously the leaders of the country think by them staying in power, they help the people. If you disagree, advocate a change. If it is as bad as China and Iraq, well then I guess you better leave and aim for a better life Not true. Plenty of governments put laws in place to keep them in power which have nothing to do with the betterment of the society. Cases in point = Iraq, China. Irrelevant. 'Course it is relevant. If the lawmakers have a law and you disagree with it, your opinions clash. It is your duty to try and change this, or do something about it. You've said to get out of the country twice by this point. If there is no other option Not when the government oppresses the people and no one gets to vote. Cases in point = Iraq, China. You better do something about it then. Blindly obeying the law regardless of its content is as bad as not questioning it. Haha. So if you disagree wtih a law, you will disobey it as a rebel rather than trying to get it changed? Silly if you ask me. You are not blindly obeying it. 3 times. Once again, puerile argument. Irrelevant. same as above You're just putting across arguments that show you know little about life. For example: That is just a childish attitude and you've been shown it is wrong by several people other than me. Contrary to popular belief on this forum, internet teenagers don't always know everything. Now, you are just being an [wagon].
  19. Did you even read what I said? I said advocate a change! Jeez. leave the country if it's major. Advocate change if it disturbs you but not enough to leave. Way to only address one of my arguments.
  20. Way to totally miss the point. I even explained it for you yet you still managed to miss it. Laws are not morality and China was an example of laws that are wrong. Laws are there to best help society in perspective of the government who makes them. If you do not agree with the laws, get out of the damn country! When you say laws are "wrong", that is an opinion. This opinion is obviously not shared by those who made them. If you disagree, get out of the country and don't complain. You can also try and get the law changed, or vote for those who support your views. When I decided to be a citizen/resident of the USA? I don't remember that, considering I've lived in England all my life. Maybe we folks over the pond don't have such blind obedience and can think for ourselves. At least compared to people like you who have demonstrated themselves to be unquestioning of authority. I am not educated on the laws of England therefore I will not say anything. I never said you have to AGREE with the laws, but simply abide by them as a citizen of that country. I question authority, but while the law stays as it is, I will not disobey because it is my duty as a citizen to obey the law whether I agree with it or not. If you have a huge problem, then once again: get out of the country (or try and get it changed)! There used to be laws against homosexuality. There used to be laws against blasphemy. There ARE currently laws against democracy in some places. Laws are not always for the betterment of society.according to you. The lawmakers obviously do not share that same opinion Laws are not infallible.
  21. People should make their own decision on wether or not they are going to smoke weed. All this thread does is put together facts and personal experiences. Its a freaken forum! I would not make decisions based on a forum. How about some actual research. As a public forum, we should not encourage things against the law. Hopefully we are dealing with the truth here and looking at both sides of the arguement. People have the right to make an educated decision, rather than have 'NO DRUGS' forced down their throats. Well, they should have it forced down their throats if it is illegal. We force "do not murder" down people's throats? Again I disagree, it should be the peoples choice as to wether or not they smoke weed and they should be able to get it if they so desire from safe sources. The law here is a silly one creaing more problems than it solves. yes laws create more problems than they solve. Ha! Yes, let us all kill people and disobey the law because we as individuals disagree! Hooray! The law in China says people get sent to prison for questioning the government. It says that search engines have to censor keywords such as "democracy", "Tiannamen Square" and so on. Laws can be BS. Laws are not morality. Anyone who bases their judgements of right and wrong solely on the law and never questions it clearly has limited mental faculties. 1. We aren't in China. I did not choose to live in China. I will not follow China's rules. 2. When you decided to be a citizen/resident of the United States of America, you said you would obey all laws whether you agreed with them or not. It is not morality, but they are there for the betterment of society. I would rather ave laws than not. My stance on MJ: 1. I know it isn't as "addictive" as some other drugs, but it makes you less active. I know some people who get high, and they just sit around and don't do anything 2. It is against the law which I must obey. This should be enough 3. It gives you a bad reputation where I live. I don't want to be known as a stoner. 4. I can get pleasure other ways.
  22. The law isn't always correct, and what the law doesn't know, doesn't hurt the law. Yeah, but it's the LAW! It overrides what you think is right and wrong. Sorry! The law is there to protect you. Just because you do not like the law does not mean you should disobey it.
  23. WHY does everyone seem to think that? No parent does that. If they do, then they're idiots. It's more like "Go to your room, no reading, no game boy, NO NOTHING". That argument is getting old and not true. Ha, well guess what? THEY DO! I would say majority say that but really never enforce it. You are suggesting this and that, but that is really not the point. The point is that it is happening now. By providing suggestions on how it can be fixed, you are proving me right.
