In my opinion it hasn't changed. I'm still getting them as fast as i got them before the new treasure trails update. Or maybe i'm just lucky :

I like a lot of tasks. Daggies - very fast xp with cannon, black demons - just very good xp, kalphites - another good task with a cannon and ofcourse abyssal demons :
