Smoking the traps is completely optional, however I typically do to increase my chances. It also helps keep you busy while you're doing it. As for faster xp at your level, it's hard to say. If you get lucky, it could be faster than anything, however it's completely up to you. Personally, I tend to powertrain with Falconry, where I just catch the nearest thing to me, rather than focus on Dark Kebbits or something. Drop the furs and bury the bones and continue on. However, as I've heard, Red Chinchompas have quite a high market value, supposidly upto 800ea, although many people are saying they were really 400ea. Either way, that's a great amount (2k per 5 catches) considering how fast chinchompas (red or not) catch.

Thats not entirely true. They can deposit any item, but they can only take out construction supplies like planks and limestone bricks, and I'm not sure if that goes for depositing aswell, I'll go check. But you can bring most noted items with you, and have your servant un-note and bring back too you. I'm not sure what items they won't do that for, bones is the only one that I'm sure of. As for depositing, as long as you have the bank space, they seem to deposit anything. About the only items they won't take to the bank are items that aren't supposed to leave your house. For example, they won't take Teacups from your shelves back to the house, nor would they take Boxing Gloves or the like. However, anything else, noted or unnoted, a butler of any level will take to the bank. The higher level of butler you have, the faster (s)he'll take it and the more (s)he can take.

Basically, they're supposed (well, not necessarily supposed to, but they are) to be pure friendly. If you were a skiller and decided to fight one, you wouldn't have to worry about gaining too much xp off of one.

Randoms don't appear in the bank :mrgreen: Oh yes they do. Perhaps not as often in the big banks, but they can happen in them. Not the combat ones, given, but the teleport ones or the prize ones. We probably just never see them because of all the people.

Bascially anything with Armor. They don't necessarily have to have high hitpoints, just not less hitpoints then your max hit. Perhaps the Ogres in King Lathas's Training Ground would suit you... They're caged, single combat, and have decently low mage bonus.

Pretty sure you need all, although it's possible you may only need the ring. As for the sword, there is a guide to it in the Player-Made Guides forum.

However there's the risk of the higher level monsters. That and the dungeon is a tad bit remote, including the admission price of 750gp. There's 3 dogs at Ardougne Mansion that count, no admission price and very close to a bank. There's even walls to range them from if you want.

I would say that you shouldn't do falconry until you can do Dark Kebbits. My stratigy for that is to attempt to catch the nearest thing there is, Spotted or Dark. Once I get to Dashing Kebbits, I'll probably work with those as well. I would say you should stick to ferrets until you get to Dark Kebbits then.

Agreed. When I got that task, that's what I did... However, if you're looking for a challenge, you might be able to get away with hellhounds...

Yes. All increasing your Magic Level does is increase the accuracy of the spell (and give you access to those new spells)

The number it gives is the Casting Xp. For Combat Spells, that number indicates the absolute minimum number of casts you'd have to do. To put it quickly: The value it gives you would be if you failed each cast or hit 0s.

Larders give the same XP per-Plank, they simply use up more planks. Personally, I do use Oak Larders (Kitchen) to do my training, but I suggested Armchairs because I don't think you can build a Larder yet.
