  1. In order to melee the 360s you have to stand a step away from them and as the ball of light is on their tail, click to attack, then click back to your original spot right after one attack. It's known as kiting and it will allow you to melee them without them being able to melee you back (assuming you time it correctly). Can either try to distract the healers/kill them or use rapier/ovl/turm/claw specs to out hit what they can heal. If meleeing jad, default on melee payer then switch as you hear the noise (mage) or go on his back legs and stomp (range), then back to melee prayer after the attack.
  2. Can only use a beast of burden if going through the fairy ring, can't take familliars through the whirlpool.
  3. So some of them were worth it and others weren't? If so, thank you. :) Yes, specifically spectres and dagannoths the cannon does a significant portion of damage over the task which means that you're meleeing less so less benefit from the ovl.
  4. Construction is designed to be money sink for the economy, so it's quite expensive for what is really a novelty, though I will say it does have some advantages such as a gilded altar. I would really recommend leveling magic in order to be able to teleport around the map, it will definitely speed things up though if you don't want to then you could buy some teletabs, they're stackable items that you can left click in order to teleport to the area. Some enchanted jewellery such as dueling rings, games necklaces and glory amulets also provide useful teleports. Plus glory is a good affordable amulet for general use. Personally I'd recommend doing quests as they take your fancy and general map exploration (quests are good for this). If you plan on running around a lot then I'd also suggest heading over to tree gnome stronghold and training some agility, this skill lets you recover energy faster and use shortcuts scattered throughout the world.

Yes it's worth it, usable for pvp and most pvm. The only two monsters which you melee where it isn't worth using are waterfiends and aberrant spectres. It's also quite important for competitive bossing. For people to be able to tell you which bone would be most efficient, you'll need to say what you value your time per hour at.
  6. Ty. I was about to take out my calculator but you saved me. Was just rephrasing it in case someone read the number without really thinking about it, numbers do get thrown around a lot on this thread after all.
  7. S U O M I looks to be on course for a 50m week, that's 1/4 of a 200m in just a week.
  8. Do Geyser titans when you can
  9. As long as they're atteactive I won't be complaining.
  10. Yeah! I imagine they have rugby on now :( Thanks Star.
  11. Couple of photos from a friends 19th. It's the same bar as the last photo I posted, fortunately there was Rugby League on instead Cricket this time. Could they please be indexed as A and B under homer205? [indexed ~star_in_the_sky]
  12. Assuming that as you're on here you're also on runescape, you might want to turn chat on. I can help out with crafting effigies.
  13. I can't really think of any bosses at the lower levels that aren't quest related (so 1 off fights). Full rune, is with the exception of gravite weapons (from dungeoneering) and corrupt dragon (really expensive, only last 30(?) minutes), the best you can get in f2p. In dungeoneering you can not take any of the items you have from the rest of the game into the dungeons where you train the skill (with the exception of the ring of kinship). In these dungeons you can however bind items which you find there, at level 1 you can bind 1 item and 125 of one type of arrow or rune. These bound items will be with you at the start of every floor you do, but all other items from the previous floor will be gone. I recommend binding the best 2 handed weapon you can use for the item bind, but we can get into the specifics of dungeoneering when you're ready to begin training it.
  14. I asked her what her plans were, she's planning on heading back to mage slaying but isn't sure what she's going to train after that.
  15. Its not worth becoming members until you have a better idea of if you will continue playing and what you want to do. It sounds to me that you're interested in a more diy style of play than most people, theres nothing wrong with this but I will warn you that it will get much slower to level your mining/smithing as you get to higher levels. If you want to focus on magic then I recommend doing the rune mysteries quest, this will allow you to make your own runes and start using the runecrafting skill. The quest itself is pretty easy, though it does involve a bit of walking. As others said, following the tasks is a good idea if that's something you're interested in, some of the elite tasks (members only) require quite high levels. If something takes your interest however, investigate it, most things in this game can be left and come back to when you want. The game is very open and you can decide what you want to do.
  16. Federal law applies to adults, you can't expect hormonal teenagers to act the same. But they're both decided on by responsible (theoretically) adults.
  17. Enjoyment, being paid for leech floors. I would assume tokens have the same limit as max items (I forget what the proper calculation is, but just over 2.1b), though I have no proof and am merely speculating.
  18. Crawler crafting - cannoning cave crawlers, though it is expensive and requires high combat levels, you'll be getting good range xp/other effigy xp too though.
  19. If you click where it says "Signed in as MrClawz" a menu will appear, click "My Profile". Then on the right of the page that loads click "Edit my Profile". Then on the next page which loads on the left click change signature, then type the code which brings up the skills banner and click "save changes". This will mean the banner is in your signature and will appear automatically at the bottom of all of your posts, saving you typing it in constantly.
  20. Most of the posts Maka has made have been because somebody has responded to him, so of course he's going to continue talking about it, then people complain about him talking about the same thing constantly. In S U O M I news, he's made nearly 30m herblore experience this week and is just over 100m herblore experience. How many overloads will you have at the end of this weekend?
  21. Are those skills in the order you're planning on training them or just a random order? Also, if you're going to notify the thread before you quit, does that mean we'll be forced to assume you died if there's no notification and you don't gain xp for a day? =P
  22. What's the point of the glories unless abyss crafting? Void range is superior to full slayer helm. I didn't realise range was superior to slayer helm, discount that then. I find glories to be a useful teleport even when not using abyssal runecrafting.
  23. I'm not sure if you know you listed fury twice. Things on that list to sell in rough order would be: Gnome Scarf All the trimmed/gilded armour sets. Bandos Godsword Wizard Boots Infinity except for the boots God ranger sets The Verac/Torags pieces you don't need (likely everything apart from verac skirt/helm and torag plate, though guthan plate is cheaper and same stats I believe) Karils Coif/bow Ahrims hood/staff Coconuts Pineapples Birds Nests Pure essence Blood Runes Death Runes Nature Runes Full Armadyl Full Bandos If you're going to sell the runes and essence, I'd recommend you keep a couple thousand in case you decide to use them. Edit: Response to LJ's list: Keep around 28 glories. If you range slay regularly then you may want to keep armadyl legs too as you won't be using void with the full slayer helm.
  24. The herbs aren't exactly great xp, though of course are good profit, I wouldn't be using the higher modifiers on them. Also, you could've just made one topic with both questions.
