Don't forget that Suomi will be using the fish/farm part of effigies on farming. I believe Xensure or Thai calculated earlier the amount of xp received from the skills that would be gained from opening effigies, though of course I don't know whether you factored that in or not.

Don't you need to use the quick-cast though? The gatestone only breaks after teleporting to said spot, iirc. The gatestone breaks as soon as you click to teleport to it, or mabe during the first half of the animation, either way, you can create another one during the second half of the animation/the lag you get from teleporting.

On a note totally unrelated to the drama, this has reminded me of something which I don't know whether it is common knowledge or not, but you can make a gatestone once you are over halfway through the teleport animation, saves time as you don't need to do it after you've teleported.

Assuming that you have no 99s, an obsidian cloak is a +2 improvement on all defensive bonuses over a legends cape and is only 36.2k. A dragon defender is an improvement over the obsidian shield. Proselyte is worth unlocking assuming you have 70/95 prayer and therefore the ability to piety/turmoil your tasks. If not, you may want to look at increasing your praye level to 70.

Going back to the 61,911.5 estimate which is the most possible, then at mid price (85 each) this will cost you 5,262,477.5gp If you offer more gp you'll get the ess faster.

Honestly, I use my effigies on herblore, because it's so expensive. You can collect ingredients for herblore and prayer yourself, summoning and construction are what you should really be using them on. Summoning only, you can avoid the construction costs buy getting those special logs and using those to make planks with, no way to avoid spirit shard costs.

As much as I hope this is true, I don't think it's likely to happen. What exactly could a quest line purely focused on him (or any Mahjarrat for that matter) be about if it was post ritual? Although it would be awesome if we could have a quest or two where we could actually experience and be a part of Sliske giving the Barrows brothers their powers and fighting alongside them by using a similar method to travel in time that we used in Meeting/Making History. I was referring to the line "What's more, one major plotline - which has only really been touched on before - begins in earnest during this quest. You'll know what I mean when you play the quest" In that the story of Sliske will be expanded during the quest, it's already been stated that he won't have his own quest but would appear in others. Sy covered the possibilty of post rotm storylines quite well so I don't think I need to repeat that. Edit: Nex is the only one who hasn't been soloed I believe. I don't think Sliske had a plan with Nex beyond having her freed in order to fight for Zaros, she seems like she would be too powerful for him to control although it's reasonable that he could be hoping to manipulate her. Working to free Nex seems to indicate to me that Sliske is in the pro Zaros camp as Nex was one of his greatest generals, this ties in well with the fact that he enhanced the Barrows brother's abilities which they were using to fight Zamorakian forces. Other than these two things, I can't think of anything which points to which faction (if any) Sliske would support. Edit 2: Have just read Sliske's wiki page and the linked postbag and yeah, he does support Zaros.

While I don't think that the quest must have a hard boss because it's a finale, I think that depending on who the boss is, it should be difficult. Lucien (for example) is supposed to be crazily strong, one of the nearest things to a god, yet he'd be weaker than nomad (who gained a lot of his power by sitting on a chair absorbing the souls of dead soul wars bots...). To me that seems wrong. I do think a scaled boss would be something worth considering though. As a side note, I think Sliske will be the person who has only been touched upon that will play a greater role.
