My idea would be to melee with protect melee on and use the cannon on one dark beast at the time. It's possible to position your cannon in a way that it will hit the monster twice per round. In combination with a whip and super set monsters die very fast. My concern would be that if the cannon hits a monster you're not yet attacking, it might start maging you and do a bit of damage while you're running at it. I think it will first try to walk towards you and melee, but I'm not sure as I can't slay them yet. Yes, they will take any chance they got to mage you when your not close to them. So cannon WILL trigger their mage attack. Get your mage protect and melee switching right and you will survive I think.

Ok bud, then explain to me how dropping the outfit gives you the ability to stay there longer (in other words, bring more prayer potions) when you are already there? The only reason you would like to drop the clothes, would be to take the drops. Or am I missing something huge that Jagex updated when I wasn't watching?

Just be honest with me: Do you really, REALLY think you will get a bow before your first prayer pot is empty? Dark beasts still drop bad, they just get a unique drop. You're way too optimistic about them, and otherwise you'd find out the hard way. Unless, of course, Jagex also tweaks the existing drops... Nah. I'm pretty sure they won't. This is not a rant towards you, I just don't like the hype that's around this update (similar to the flopped jewellry update). People are too hyped up.

who moaned that it was too hard? if it had been released slot of time ago i would have all of the challenges completed, there really isnt anything hard about any of them. Now being a lvl100 cb is common ? And no longer considered a high lvl player? That's right, 100 cb IS common.

to the topic starter: they don't tell you what to do. You can make up your own mind whether you want to make use of the feature or not. It looks like a nice update to me, I'd like to see the rewards first though.

There's no reason to think that said 110 hadn't simply acquired his account illegally from another player. Sadly, that's common enough. That's normal distribution tbh, not binomial. and deviation = sqrt(#runs*chance*(1-chance))=sqrt(300*.1*.9)=sqrt(27) Standardising gives: X-u=Z*o = X-30=invNorm(.95)*sqrt(27) So there's a 95% chance that the drop count will be within 22 and 38 if im not mistaken. Then again, I might be wrong. Apart of that, it's a nice theory.
