  1. (last page.) I edited my post because I sounded more grumpy than I intended. =p
  2. I know he doesnt use a familiar (Well besides a magpie sometimes 'possibly'.. I pretty sure its his.) and doesnt drop the gold bars. He mines and superheats. (gauntlets obviously) Dragon pickaxe.. I know because I standing next to him for hours a day for weeks. Not stalking lol! Just mining superheating myself. He follows same pattern I do of just mining gold and using se or sw, then ne when other two down, lastly nw if no other rocks. 2m mining would be difficult.. It feels odd mining next to him when I remember him closing doors on me years ago. >.< Doubt he remembers. (Sorry double post but I didnt read that before I posted in topic.)
  3. I was surprised s-u--o--m-i was being so inefficient with raising his dung to level 90 tbh. (He can enjoy the skill later - Groups will reappear in batch 2 if thats a problem.) Looks like he changed his priorities and doing something else, mining/smithing/magic, rather than wasting time on dung when second part aint out. Not that I like s-u--o--m-i. A while after rs2 he used to close door on me for ages when I was smithing so it was difficult to get out, o_0 He did it more than once on seperate days. I never did anything or even speak to him when it started.. I know it was him because of his fishing xp. Infact thats the only reason I remember.. I thought he was a bit of a noob for his level lol. o_0 I prefer the other people as 'contenders' lol. He aint getting his 30k donation from me lol!
  4. Thankyou. WEEeeea! Goal update! My new official ending point for mining has been changed. I am going for 102 Mining, 17.6m. (Defo End - Just mining for smithing mainly and only smithing to stay in the top 50. Its also one of my fav runescape numbers, 102, because I was that combat for many years when I was skilling.) I am also going for 109 smithing, 35.2m. (Double mining xp.) Also correcting my second mistake >.< I meant 99/15.1m fishing xp. Not 99 or 99/14m lol. However I dont seem to be fishing at the moment.. About 25k ores to go!
  5. WEEeeea! Going for 102 mining and 109 smithing next. (Superheating it.) About 25k ores to go!
  6. I play because I 23 and beat all the other games, most of the things that are released are just remakes and cant be bothered wasting my time on them, runescape on the other hand offers a huge challenge and takes me many years to complete my goals. (Infact I been playing runescape so long that I am terrible at other games now lol.) However whenever a new game does come out thats worth my time I play it. Maybe not for a challenge but some other aspect. Challenge is usually what I prefer and this game offers that. Maybe too much but thats a good thing for me. Although the new skill is just ridiculous requirement to fully complete the rest of the game is quite exciting to work towards. I have to be frank, although I love this baby, I could quickly replace it once I felt finished and wanted to move onto a new game. Might take me many more years but that besides the point. I mean.. Before this I maxed out char's in diablo 2. I eventually beat that game so bad that I eventually did get bored of it. Maybe one day that will happen to runescape but I am not sure when that will be or what my ultimate goals will be. Certainly not 200m in all skills. But some other hard to reach goal. (Diablo 3 might make me semi quite/duel play both games.) Also ofcourse I may have kids at some point. I can maintain study/work but if I had that AND kids then I might struggle for the time to play a game like this. May prefer easier to complete stuff. (I dont treat women that way btw lol. :P Thats completely different.) I dont think regular updates would be enough to lure me back but I probably come back to do new skills and then read and work through all the new content. I do hold it to my heart, I been playing for 7-8 years, how couldnt i? Maybe another 3-4 years left or even more. However I also feel that about other games and all I do is play them again sometimes lol. Never have to abandon them completely. I just know that once I felt complete that I could move on quite easily and hunt for my next challenge.. Runescape is the ultimate goal maker though so I would presume I be here for a very long time. Which I love and love achieving. Its not necessarily my favourite game but I guess I could say its the game I love the most. Until Diablo 3 anyway.
  7. Great thing about runecraft is you make money if you want to! Despite its longevity. You about to get your first 90! Thats pretty awesome. What makes it even better is one level after that is 91! Which means another level of making lots of cash to 92 lol. Plenty to keep you motivated. Enjoy summer holidays too!
  8. Nice balanced stats! Thats what I like to see. Getting 85+ make you a pro. Goodluck!
  9. Thankyou! I have now officially finished lessons but still got exams. Although I seem to be doing alrite on that front. My gf has annoyingly already finished everything. And by the sounds of it, so has a flatmate where we share.... Anyway I continued onto 97 Fishing! I also updating my goals to state I meant 99 fishing/14m xp. Oh and I abanded getting a big shark. Got bored after 2 inventories of them. :? And I am also setting a sub goal to get 20m fletching xp.. ..and today I achieved 20m fletching xp! :P I am making another new goal for 16m Mining xp + 33m smithing xp!! I will be making this offically my last mining level goal. (101) I will be in the mining cavern place superheating gold for a while and/or fishing I donno. Could be a while until I next update, any of these goals will take some time and my play time is out of wack.
  10. Lots of great improvements on the emotes. Especially the firemaking emote. However the magic emote looks a little worse and the smithing emote just looks odd having pixie dust spray out? I think it had sparks before which was better. Otherwise all the rest which had improvements look better imo. Especially firemaking. 300% better. Wouldnt of minded if they took this opportunity to update some of the less interesting emotes, such as slayer.
  11. Oh wow, went to go get my capes to check emotes and my poh is pretty messed up at the mo =p It just flickers those brown glicthes everyone whenever move. Emotes are nice tho. Mostly.

  13. I must fit into this category - Cannon noob who cant afford good armour and prayer abuser who drinks too much weed? aka - Uses best slayer master for cannon, uses cannon for nearly all tasks, wears either dragon chain for personal prestige or prayer gear to annihilate, whip, uses tormoil/ss/block prayers, drinks extremes or overloads and healer/yak/steel titan. I not too sure I agree with those categories. Especially the glory guy. Poor guy... Probably just prefers the teles on it and doesnt wish to use up inventory space just for a tiny boost of a fury or doesnt see the point of the huge extra cost. Btw where the hell is the godsword noob who cant afford a whip and resorts to lending. I see plenty of them.
  14. Both because the more time you spend on killing them the better chance you get a meaty drop thats worth something and because its quicker to make gp in some other way compared to the time taken to click each monster. A single runecraft run would probably make more money while being atlot less annoying than clicking and waiting to pick gold up for every single monster. I wouldnt necessary call it lazyness.. In real life if I had a job that gave me 10 pounds an hour, but on the route to work that I walked I discovered loads of 5 pence coins littered around randomly across a football field would I really care? It might spend me an hour picking that all up while I miss out on a hours wages which would of given me 10 quid with alot less hassle. Obviously picking up monster coins from gargoyles isnt as bad as 5 pence but its still not good enough for me compared to what I could earn much more conveniently for better coin. edit: Plus the animations take freakin forever to die on most monsters nowadays. They dont usually drop much else so you would have to either wait or run back from attacking something else. Which may slow you down slightly. Either playstyle of being slow or fast I would find it quite annoying to wait out animations.
  15. (4 posts up) You cant be too far away from me =p 3 more to go! +Some
  16. Without a timer you could just -near- instantly hop by having multiple games open. That just isnt good for gameplay. If you really cant see why thats bad then just read previous comments. I cant remember how many worlds there are but say you can hope them all within a minute. Thats terrible as all the respawns be gone by a handfull of people. Of which know when they respawn and repeat. Not to mention its easy to have programs do most of the work for you that wouldnt be braking any rules or be detectable even if it was. They cant make rules against that kinda thing. Plus you could just make programs that automatically do it which kinda do brake rules I suppose but would be impossible to detect and would act exactly the same as if you were manually switching. Best and easiest prevention is having a timer.
  17. Well im not sure on the accuracy of how long the previous artwork stayed up but I think 2 weeks is a bit short for any skill, however after 4+ weeks enough is enough. Probably should take it down by now. People are real divs in this thread btw.
  18. Goal update! I just randomly going for my next 99. Fishing! Exam time is stressful and I am not enjoying my other ingame activities so I decided to change the pace and do something completely different and unexpected. Ontop of that I shaw also be going for a big shark at some point. I am debating on 99 cooking too, as I kinda wanted to get that last. However I am not an idiot and notice prices are a good time to be cooking. I will see what they are at once I get 99 fishing though. I much rather cook for profit than delay it so we see.. In about a month or month half I shaw be playing fully to enjoy the end of exams. Then I should be playing full on again and enjoying myself properly without things being so stressful. I have also randomly got 15.1m mining xp! Now I be focusing on fishing. =D
  19. I havnt really mined in a long time, decided to give it a go for a while, I didnt realised how fast it was to mine gold ore down there. o_o
  20. This is kinda ugly. (Looks worse in this picture without rest of picture.) My computer can handle full settings fine however this picture is in the lowest settings and it does it on all settings I believe. (Stretchy anyway) I recently upgraded my displays and got higher res so I notice it more I guess? Its doubtful its my pc or monitors though. No real importance, just bored waiting for my poh rock.
  21. Sorry, but I think this statement itself is absurd. When Jagex makes something easy, players say they are "devaluing". Now they are also doing it by making something hard? Can't quite grasp how something that is harder to attain has less value. I also think the mindset that you have to "do everything" is absurd. This is a game -- the purpose is to have fun, not drive yourself nuts trying to "finish everything". There is no "requirement" anyway here; "end game" just means "the gameplay done by those who have maxed skills or mostly maxed skills". It doesn't mean the idea is to literally end the game. There's no prize at the end you know. Or as a wise man once said: "The point of a journey is not to arrive". Sorry but picking certain things out of a whole post because it would contradict what your commenting on is also absurd to even bother writing a reply to mine. I know its unavoidable on this forum to have a post without something moaning or nagging at it but someone like you who isnt a child should know better.
  22. Those magic portals are back! Nice fix but a little odd using a portal to get the bridge to cross the bridge... =p
  23. @quote 99 in all stats is generally considered 'end game' for most people and for good reason. While other things such as going over 99 or getting phat sets etc is personal goals. Getting over 100m as a requirement to 'end game' is unachievable for the average player. It literally takes years playing just one skill. Thats not end game thats absurd and unrealistic to the average player. It devalues what is achievable by creating something thats absurd to reach. Its like earning all the badges in scouts except one because its unrealistic to achieve. (Or whichever group earns badges I dont know.) Why make that last badge an absurd goal of climbing mount Everest. Thats [developmentally delayed] and just sad that anyone wishes to actually do it unless they planned to get 200m or some personal goal. Getting 200m is perhaps a crazy personal goal but it makes more sense than a required goal of 100m to max out if you ever planned to do that. 200m != end game but a personal goal. Stuff like 100m or 150m should be up to the player. For many reasons I dont believe its reasonsible to make over 100m in a single skill a requirement to reach end game. I dont think it matters when it comes down to a mostly cosmetic item but for the highscores it messes it up. This single random skill (It IS just a skill afterall even if it is designed for high levels apparently.) makes the xp earnt with other things all at 99 less obvious. Or rather it just messes it up as who decides to get 100m in it gets on the top of the highscores compared to someone else who has 5 200m xp stats. Due to the levels counting... However no they shouldnt add to other skills either as it devalues them and makes them unachievable for the average player. It really depends on the xp rates but unless its very good and takes the equivalent time of gaining the most slow and difficult existing skill three times then its just absurd. So say achieving slayer 3 times. (The time required to max out dung fully. I mean.) Now THATS pretty awesome and elite no? Isnt that considered achieveable but bloody annoying and difficult but certainly 'end game.' Considering dung is 8 skills in one then it really does need to be very high xp rates to be achievable. Eight 99's? No bloody way its unrealistic. Thats like 2 or 3 times harder than my awesome elite super made up alternate yet achievable example. So it seems I cant max out. I only been playing on and off for 8 years or something and although I dont plan to max out I am pretty close to it and would of eventually. Now its not a 'one day' but a 'I simply cant achieve that.' Even when I was a newb I felt I could achieve it eventually.. I knew it take years.. but I felt I could. A required goal of over 100m in a single skill is just [developmentally delayed]ed. Best I can do is ignore it and just get 99's instead and pretend that is the end game even though the highscores say otherwise.
