Hopefully in short long term it will impact those pesky hunter bots each week when I have to get my strange rocks. Couple weeks back one glitched up and kept following my traps as I was hunting. It couldnt hunt itself. Bloody annoying having it follow me whole time... <_< As for a larger impact on the game this can only be a great thing. :thumbup: Probably take a few weeks for botters to actually be effected. Plus those sites will just start elsewhere as usual pretty quick.. but it should impact game somewhat positively.. ..If anything its a good laugh to see their site down anyway.. Most people who leach bots are too thick to find the new site or understand how to click a link for a couple of days and gives those who are intelligent a headache dealing with those people.

I am still waiting for their reason for returning the bts lol. That seems more of a problem with me, (being no reason to counteract their reasoning for removing it to begin with when returning it... mmkay.) than when they dont release their updates they probably surprised by the reaction of their customers when they practically state it as a fact something will be released this month. As for this weeks update I actually thought there wasnt any update and cant remember what bts said anyway as that was nearly a month ago. =p Jagex are so funny with how they run their company.

Goal update! I am now going for 10k, 12k 15k frozen bones minimum. Frosties for me personally have been 3 hours to 5 hours. Not had enough time on them to really know but I doubt its anywhere near 2 hours but closer to 3 or so. I have had 3 today but none yesterday and two the day before that. Killed 4380 as of this post so it seems pretty terrible. That makes my average every 876 killed and not including any accidental buries lol. Ofcourse need more kills though as its only just a new update. Its probably 3 hrs with better luck. I am going to take a educated guess that my average will be 4 hrs for me personally by the time I am finished. I am killing atleast 10k of these things before I see daylight again and get out the basement.

New goal - 99 Range via cannoning frost dragons So far used 28624 cannonballs from when I first began lol. 671,289 xp till 99. (Nearly half way.) Bone count as for this post: 3173 Rough estimates: 50.5 to 53.7m + 4.5m in other drops minus 850k in costs. Rough estimate of pure profit atm: 54.35 to 57.35m Oooh makes ya feel all tingly inside. However ofcourse If I had just bought a couple of cliimbing boots I probably made more without the effort!! :rolleyes: *Puts dunce hat on for putting effort into game*

Everyone from classic is gone (Unless they played and I didnt know them then that is.) but I do know someone shortly after from that who is probably my most liked person even if they dont know it. Everyone from a bit after then quit around the time when jagex didnt release high level content stuff and got bored tbh. Even I didnt play 'properly' for a year at one point. Infact that might of made anyone who returned think I had quit too and give up trying to find me if they did return. I do however know a few people who arnt actually on my friends list that are uber elite from old days (not famous just high ranked at the time.) that I can talk to ingame quite well to exchange newest happenings. =p Its been a long time because im on the wrong worlds but I doubt they quit. I still feel too much of a newb to actually ask add lol. Funny thing is I am catching up to their stats but its only taken me nearly 5+ years from when I first met them lol. Everyone else are recent people within last few years and isnt quite the same. So basically only one person left and they play seemingly randomly for periods of time then disappear when busy in rl. Tbh anyone I havnt known for atleast 2 years I am suspicious about why they want to add me as a friend which isnt very good of me. Especially if lower level. Its nicer when you got friends from years back that you know actually enjoy talking to you rather than any stat rubbish. When its runescape talk I wanna talk about how much extreme xp I need for whatever extreme goal without 'wowzers' and more genuine motivation asmuch as I wanna talk about their possibly lower but equally challenging goals. Its also fun to talk about when they remember me without any 99s and stuff and first began journey getting faster and faster xp as I learnt the game. Within this year I achieved 36m smith xp but I still talking to the guy that was around when I was struggling and pushing hard to get 85 smith and that. If I was really bothered I would just join some clans that take my interest. However I prefer my own company nowadays anyway. I just grateful for certain people who probably will quit one day but I still continue to play lol. Everyone else online seems like a 10 year old american with a 138 account that I cant be bothered to speak much.

You do not have enough scrolls to do that! This is what you call a 'duh' moment. I couldnt figure out why my yak wasnt banking as it had enough energy until I read my chatbox. I kept trying for ages and began putting them inside the yak before I figured out why lol. I had nearly 2k of them when began and didnt notice I was running out.. Stuck in a bit of a routine behavioural pattern.

The whole thing about dung is if you can tolerate teams or not. Its a mmorpg to roleplay and chat but that dont mean you have to actually be forced to play with idiots or less able people than you. I rather solo than play with someone who cant completely optimise their time. I may sometimes play with people or take time out to hang out in less rigorous gameplay but that does not mean I would want to train a skill to 99 like that!! This isnt Diablo or anything its runescape and its gameplay is completely difference imo. Its completely fine for a player to not optimise their time but that just isnt -me- and I find it more fun to play my best when going for the high end stuff. Also I rather not play with someone who knows how to play better than me as I like to improve my ability and have competition against them for better xp or whatever. If it was a shooter I would rather them on the opposite team rather than on my own team. Plus they probably an idiot anyway knowing runescape and im quite selective with my friends being mature and such. I put alot of effort into getting the max xp rates and such in all the skills where possible besides dung due to the team element reducing my fun and probably P me off more than anything. Its 372,306 xp for ALL of the med size floors solo without failer and takes about 17-25 minutse to complete. (Probably faster but my personal record was 17 minutes and I barely bothered to switch my attack style due to semi-afking and doing other stuff on pc.) So about 31k an hour? Probably 25k. Sorry I bit tired to figure that out. So that comes out slightly low and its less if you ever die or encounter an impossible door to pass. (Which is likely to happen one way or another on atleast one floor!) Even if maxed out stats you can encounter impossible doors... however thats very unlikely now due to the last update with making farming patches. As for most people out there though they will tolerate or even enjoy teams and that makes this skill alot faster to do. I think its ganna be a simple 99 once part 2 is released as its already 'ok' xp and the skill isnt even finished for people in teams and even not 'half bad' for people who solo it. In conclusion I dont enjoy it very much at all however the last update certainly gave it more of a 'point' which makes training it to 99 somewhat more meaningful and motivating. Its important factor when considering if its an easy 99 or not. So for me personally, no, this is a horrible 99 to get. Its also slow. Only recently even had a 'point' to do it outside of dung itself.

Got all my range levels from cannon since 85. Through slayer mostly. Finally got another. Maybe I should go ahead and get 99 cannoning these lol. :P

Revised goal. I ganna change my prev accomplishment of 82 to 85 to unlock frost dragons and get 85+ all stats. I should have it soon. Only one more dungeon to do for 85, about 3k xp to go lol. ;-) Here last two levels. Will get 85 later and do some pics but ganna have quick bath with gf first as I stink (so she says.... :-( ) from no lifing so much then slay some frosties lol. :lol:

I like all the aspects of this update. I would say my only real gripe is the fact I think the logout problem should of been sorted before release and the medium dungeons should of been allowed a few weeks after the skill was released. They released both of them way too late. The hidden locations finally add something to the rest of the game. Alot of them are quite useful and pretty good. The ring after 8+ tier seems pointless for the cost though. I personally dont see the rush for the new dragon though.. It looks to me like a very brief profit and soon to be pretty bland pointless profit. I am guessing by my own calc that these bones will end up in the 15-18k mark and EVEN if it stabalised at 20k a bone that wouldnt be enough incentive for me to bother leveling my dung to 85 from 82. It just doesnt excite me one bit. The whole rush thing is fair enough but I just dont see that lasting very long... Long term they seem very bland like wyverns. Unique bone drop but not much else besides a chance for a visage. It would of been nice if they dropped something unique considering they have a level 85 dung requirement? In a week they will be pretty pointless or a month imo. It doesnt matter if they 3x dragon bones all that means is they be 3x the cost and stabilise around there. So dragon bones still probably be the best option for the most part. Doubt long term it will even lower dragon bone prices. Anyway, I think dung has certainly been improved. (Dont really need that construct for a farming patch anymore though as on medium dungeons there is a much bigger chance of one spawning lol. That kinda fixed that problem for me. However its still nice that its possible.) I did a bit more training today but once I got 82 I think I cant be bothered doing anymore until part 2 is released. Which im kinda grateful they made level 85 rubbish.. Or I might push myself to train it. So so long for like 6+ months I guess. :thumbsup: Its my least fav skilll. :thumbsup:

Goal update! I am now going for 82 Dung. Goal Complete! 82 Dung achieved!

Been switching skills bit too randomly for me to update regularly however I have just completed quite a few recently so time to update. Completed 79 & 80 dung out of goal towards 81! Making all skills 80+!! (I hate training dung so this was the most difficult for me! However I want to have a standard level for it before part 2 is released.) Completed 97 crafting and construction for effigy assists! I will be solely doing construction or crafting assists as much as possible from now on. Gotten 98 fishing! (Still long way to go. =p) And.. 99 Herb!!!! Here are some screenshots showing off cape. :thumbsup: I am now fishing for 99/15.1m xp or getting that last dung level.

I am not saying that mod post is not true but it probably should not be believed until atleast some effort is put into proving it. I doubt a jagex would admit to their mistakes even non directly like that.(Biggest clue. :wink: ) Even less likely to admit to a mod leak. Even MORE unlikely to suggest players covering it up...? ..Nah. However it is possible some idiot employee did post it. Just there aint no proof in any for form. Anyone could of wrote it.. Very convenient its on a fmod section and probably vanished now I presume. Tbh they do need to admit to mistakes but if a 'leak' did happen then perhaps thats an internal problem anyway idk.

Oh no, I'm very upset now /sarcasm On Topic: I am not sure of Jahex tried to mimic the vuvuzela sound to be honest.. if it is the case they might remove it now, after world cup soccer ends right? I hope they don't as I really like the extra sound. Only problem is, they cannot add sounds like this to many more items, as it will turn standing in the GE into a cacophony :ohnoes: I think they bought one and then sent some random employee to the recording studio. =p He tried his best. I love the 'fffffsh' non sound one but equally the proper loud one. <Which sounds odd in words. edit: I think they should leave it ingame however they need to patch it so you are forced to use molten on it for it to work. Atm you can just cancel it but it still does animation/sound. That way you atleast have to have the molten and the cost of it.

Dont forget to stick a price tag of 400 pounds on it and we see who the REAL dedicated players are! Its proves your dedicated loyalty for an event that will be held in a small igloo home to a pola bear and its family. Thats all the details released as of yet. Jk. (Remember that they state that the event will be somewhere in antartica but have to wait untill sold out to know exactly.) But seriously. I sure it be a great event. Wow you serious? Thats really bad cheap tactics used by scummy companies. They dont need to do it like that its just un-customer friendly. Especially with companies on a big scale like runescape. There so many free players that might try that and they probably all tricked into paying. This kinda offer is unnecessary for runescape when you got both a demo and a bigger demo available anyway. Seems mostly like a trick to make people go on the subscription unknowingly which is horrible tactics. :shock: :mellow: Doesnt matter how cheap the game is... I know when you get members they redraw the money out a couple of days before but that shouldnt be the case for this offer unless they clearly state that somewhere considering the short time available on the offer. Just horrible not to and am amazed the way the company is acting. I expect that kinda thing from a company like amazon or something by putting it into the small print that infact they just ganna grab more money days before offer runs out.

Wow so they charge so high without a location making the overall cost very concerning considering you cannot calculate it. Then once they sold out they both release the location (which of made it more possible to calculate the total cost) and they refund the ticket price anyway? That just isnt cool when you are more than one person to figure out with such a lack of detail. I dont regret not buying the tickets as they were way too vague on the details but wouldnt of minded the extra cost if there was no ticket price. Seems a bit unfair unless you rich enough to jump onto the band wagon without having to think through things. I think it 'could' of been a pleasant day out which I regret to attend due to those reasons. Its great to make it free but more vital details if nothing else would be nice next time with a ticket cost or not.

Besides. I not sure how this effects adults who pay for their kids but im guessing it would show their I.D which is kinda stupid. Cant show a childs I.D either way im sure. I dont think it should be allowed on blizzard, nor do I think jagex should do it. I also dont think it makes a difference besides seeming wrong to do.

That was a very entertaining quest. I dont know who wrote it as i too lazy to check but all the same I grateful to say I enjoyed it. it had alot better humour than jagex standard style. Seems fresh style almost. ..or someone was allowed to make a good quest? ..or there been so many bland ones that this one seems like a diamond? Reward seems a bit high too which is nice. Its the kinda reward I would expect but not from their standard rewarding system. I also guess the requirements are better than normal. Neither here or there but once again I say that for jagex standard thats pretty high which is always a good thing to see. Seems like someone has been allowed to make a decent quest for once tbh. The worse thing about this quest is the fact I know the next 10 or so quests will be level 10 requirements and with rewards like special armour with bronze stats and utterly boring to complete. - Not too sure on the dragons tails or position of their wings though. Black ones look best.

^@effigy spam. Getting same problem a little. Hasnt been that bad yet because I havnt been logged in that much lol! Worse I had was 1 every 5 to 10 minutes for an hour and that was at the worse. About 10 people I think due to ignore list and I remember moaning to friends at the time. I am talking random pms from random people and not walking up to me. (Some possibly assisted before but I dont remember.) I dont know how they know my name or anything... Sad thing is I am nearly always maxed within 20 minutes if not 5 as its so easy to find someone once the cap is nenewed. I can never ever help them even if its the skill I want. Use the ingame notepad thing to write down the time and everything so can get it maxed out asap for the xp lol. No point pming me asking about it.. :razz: :razz: Barely had any pms today when I logged in though. So hopefully its quieting down.

Sums it up nicely enough for me. - Recently they built up a huge amount of respect or even likeability when it comes to making the game being fair and avoiding bugs or possible content braking updates. However even more recently they made a horrible mistake which they cannot admit to and thus lost a huge majority of respect that is alot harder to gain back. Why bother preaching so loud the spirit of the game when its a bug but not when you going to give millions of free gp to people for no reason. Considering the fact that there are many other better alternatives. Perhaps its too late to reverse now but its not too late to admit and possibly (due to being so late and stubborn) apologise. However its more important that they just admit to it and recognise what happened. It makes the 'spirit' possible to move on without so much bitter taste.
