97 Slayer!! - 23rd July 2009

Been using my summons more recently and felt how painful it is to use them now compared to before. Especially with beasts of burden. I feel bloody paranoid they going to die because I cant check their timers as freely as before - feeling less enjoyment. Classic example of not playing your own game. They need another solution now and never should of removed it until they had it ready if they actually understood their own game. I kinda feel compelled to use a external timer but I rather not as I never had to do this before.. It probably look ugly compared to just clicking the ingame tab too. And thats only one inconvenience of many due a to feature that already existed which was removed. Instead of being tweaked to work differently that is still as convenient. Not like the solution they decided to go with.

Ah for 'heavens' sake some 'taffer' removed my sig. Already spent ages making that within the rules last year *rolls eyes* And now I lost that information wasting time recreating it and finding links. I think I did a small tweak to it a few days ago and that was what did it. Talk about.. In other news.. Nearly 97 slayer and 99 summoning! edit: Put a tempering stat thingy in sig for now. *rolls eyes*

Trust me. You dont want a proper accent anyway unless u mean old school. Went to america and most of them didnt understand me unless I spoke slow and clear for them and butchered my lingo.

OMG I JUST DIED AND LOST 500M a phat and all my other wealth GRRrr.. Jk. Anyway. I found the puzzle a touch bit easy at the end. Took me like 5 seconds to figure out. I dont expect much but usually it takes me a bit longer. To be frank I found the quest boring but it was well made. I think its was 100% excellence but I just didnt care for it much myself. Probably because it was too easy for me. [hide=Kinda spoiler]*Looks at weird door with symbols, presses all buttons... "weird.. hmm??" Runs around careful not to attract mummy things.. find stuff.. "hmm.." back to door.. looks at door! Looks at inventory. Wait a second! Something is different!* "aha!!"-Solved- As for the items needed. Pretty obvious. I was a bit unsure about the summon but once I was there and saw everyone else who had one.. Meh. I felt relief I did the right thing.[/hide]

All they got to do is make the change to the summoning map button left click to open the tab where a window normally opens. Effectively making it a tab button.. On the map where it is consistant but only activates if got a summon/pet. I dont know what its left click function is now if it has one at all. So im not sure what they mean in their post. But I do know I got a pet out right now and the left click does nothing.

94 Agility ~ Goal Complete! 20th July 2009

First tab is like my tool tab. Firstly my money followed by the tools I use often such as axe etc, followed by teleportion methods - and then other tools I use often but less often such as a desert tiara, light sources etc, followed by all other random tools such as empty buckets, rope, pots, hammers, etc 2nd Tab is like my armoury tab. Consisting of my armour and weapons. A bit of random stuff at the top most consisting of prayer related items. Then range related items, older melee weapons I prefer to keep, and then all the stuff I use more frequently. 3rd Tab is like my drug store tab. Where I store my pots. Followed by the ingrediants needed to make them. Followed by all the half used pots I chuck back in which wait for being reorganised at a later time by refilling them. 3rd Tab is like my summoning, clue scroll and my slayer armoury. (Ultimately my slayer tab as whenever I am training slayer I use this tab alot.) Firstly charms, stuff need for summoning, eggs, then pouches. After the summoning part I have my clue scroll items waiting inc all the random items that are needed. Then other random slayer items needed for killing certain beasts. 4th Tab is my rune tab. Firstly all my runes, then all my staffs, tiaras, talismons. 5th tab is my food, farming and evil tree tab. Firstly all my food items, then my farming items, and lastly the items I can quickly grab to fight off the evil tree. 6th Tab is my smith and crafting tab. Where I keep all my bars and ores at the top. Followed by smith/craft related items. Then all my gems and unused slayer heads. 7th Tab is my random/dont use tab but wish to keep. I keep my firelighters right at the top, followed by a massive amount of quest items and other random items inc clothing. 8th Tab is like my front line tab. Its the tab I use most often for whatever I am training. I got the items I most use and rather have at the front line rather than in storage on the first tab. First item is a emergency tele. A net to catch implings. I keep my duel rings, glories etc here. Followed by whatever I plan to work on then what I am currently working on.

Wow.. The politesse request for one of those annoying swords I have seen yet. Usually you get people following you around begging. Props! :thumbsup: (Plus the guy above him is pretty polite.. I dont think im in the same game I usually log into. :ohnoes: )

Its like a minute to hop but for the number to change will also be s a minute so there be a bit of waiting for the login timer and then also being allowed to put the code in basically at the end of the timer. A little annoying if you wish to hop. I think thats how the technology works on a timer but maybe 30 seconds would be nice and allow us to put the code in before the login timer. HOWEVER would that mean you have to type in it really quickly before its invalid lol.. Even a minute would be short time to some people but for others its an eternity if you want to hop. Obviously its still up in the air whatever and might allow you more freedom than that. I would hope for more freedom but I dont know how it works exactly and I guess I would take a little inconvenience for the extra security in this case as it pays off more.

Sounds great to me. Been playing too many years and a fool proof security feature would be welcomed. As a choice - Although the first login takes a bit longer IF its manual - You wouldnt need to put a bank pin and using this you can type in it at the login SAVING time by not putting your bank pin after any hops during -playing- time. Overall it would balance out and personally I get annoyed putting ingame bank pins in. I rather put all my passwords in at the start rather than during gameplay. More information on recovery is needed though before deciding to lose that. IF it has the plugin option -no typing- then it be even more convenient without having to either put that key or your bank pin in. AND you can play on whatever pc at any location without worrying anymore. I simply do not play runescape (Or any other activity) on other pc's unless I personally setup their security to prevent my passwords being stolen. (Or have their own personal keylogger.) With this thing I could do whatever I want anywhere I want and not worry about it. Its as safe as all my other -keys- I would worry more about losing. Cost - 10 quid max inc postage but I would rather 5 quid inc postage. I might pay 15 quid inc postage but less happy with that. I cant really care about bankspace but whatever. I mean c'mon my account is worth alot more than that that its a good deal, safer, more mobile and more convenient security for me. Its understandable why most people wouldnt see the point, need etc but for others who like security it is a nice addon feature thats mostly fool proof. The best you could ever hope for for a game. (Lol at people saying jagex in rwt - LOL - (membership) *Hits head on wall* I thought jagex were a business not a charity. They covering their costs, pay their staff, better customer support and possibly a little profit is not a bad thing. Possibly its true they chucking in bank space to attract more people to buy it but thats so its even possible rather than any substantial profit. AND ITS A BUSINESS. Its OK for them to sell things its THEIR game. Its obviously not selling items seperately but to intrigue people. I havnt studied business but I can see theres a big difference and im guessing common business tactic to entice people. Although its uncommon its good buisness practice to ensure customers are happy. Like not losing their accounts and quitting.. Thats where they make money. Players not quitting and telling other people good feedback about the game. The sad thing is.. That people are whining about them rwt when in reality they are probably losing money for their players security by implementing this feature.)

They should have a testing server for randomly selected people (Be that people with needed requirements/different variables.) to test updates. Even if its just for the bigger ones and boycott quests to avoid spoilers. Obviously they dont get to keep anything but many people would be more than happy to play content before release. Learn how its done. Even if it changes on actual release. I dont agree with players being the testers but if its the case then they should do it on a testing server that wont cause any damage to players. As for this player I really dont care about as it really was their own pigheaded fault without pitty. I mean to get that kinda total you learn things over the years. One of them being.. dont take stuff your not willing to lose to new content. If your not willing then wait until its been proven safe. Even -after- its proven safe its kinda dum to carry that kinda cash around unless your willing to lose it to game bugs. In ANY game that is dum to the level of a newbie who hasnt learnt their lesson yet. However ofcourse if it did happen then its fine they rant and wotnot but at the end of the day I hope they realise that its their own carelessness that it happened even if it is jagex fault - and there isnt anything reasonable that can be done about it without effecting the whole player base. Jagex cant roll back as it effects too many other players for so few in this case. They cant return items as its too open for abuse. From top of my head both players making false claims could abuse that and even jagex staff cheating/selling stuff.

Resting exactly on 500 I think as I doing other things for the moment. I think I am 96 slayer. I know I have amounted that number since the update came out. I do skip tasks... its efficient more than anything to do so.. but I got no way of knowing what my true streak is but then again I rather not waste time on tasks that slow me down so it doesnt matter to me. I love Skeletal Wyverns btw as they are one of those incredibly rare tasks and they seem easy enough in one trip - Fast kill. Bones add up.

just wonder what you all think of botting. - My gf loves it. Are you curious and wonder how its done? - Its obviously evil magic. Do you think it's an evil thing? - The worse kind of evil. Do you think it's alright even tho you get banned as soon as you turn a bot on? - Even I could make a bot that doesnt get banned instantly.. =S I mean.. Maybe a few minutes atleast before its banned. Yes im ok with that.. Very impressive jagex. Or can't you even be bothered about it? - I am deeply concerned.
