You should have the mage run down first to lure Rex away, then have the two rangers (easiest to do two rangers and one mage if you're splitting the drops) bring a DDS and obby shield to spec Supreme to almost dead, and once they eat both pull out Guthan spears and finish killing him. Range Prime on the edges and you'll all 3 be able to stay there for over 10 pray pots if you've got Guthans to heal on the level 70s :P But anyway congratulations.

That's because it's not designed to hit through prayer. The KQ apears to pray, but that's just a graphic to show you that she has mega defense. It's designed to hit through armor, and prayer is an armor. Also the Kalphite Queen does use melee pray, because you hit for 60% of your max hit when you use melee against the second form (unless you bring Veracs of course and get the set effect on a high hit) ;)

Melee would still lose because of blood barrage :lol:

Good ones: DDS/DD+/DDP - Obvious reasons. Dragon Battle Axe - Saves money training/ Dragon Long/Dragon Mace - 30 and 60 strength bonus? Count me in! Mediocre ones: Granite Maul - Easier to get KO's with than dagger, but for whatever reason when I use the specials they seem far more inaccurate than if I were to just hit with the maul regularly so I dont know what's up with that. Magic Shortbow - Good, but 55% doesn't help. Dragon 2H - Good, but 55% doesn't help. Also Castle Wars is dead as is P2P multi so it has no real use. Dragin Scimitar - Good, but 55% doesn't help. Also Castle Wars is dead as is P2P multi, which is where it would get most use since whips are common in single wild when you have the time to protect item and won't get smited by 10 people. The rest aren't worth mentioning.

I doubt anything in Runescape will top the Fight Caves for quite some time so it's all downhill from here.

It doesnt activate when you get hit by poison. Some 111 ran out of the wilderness against me the other night and I hit him a 37 as he ran out and he turned on redemption since he knew he was poisoned, it hit him a 5 almost instantly and he was redlined but didnt heal. He logged and probably had a friend give him food or pick up his stuff on another server, but the point is it doesnt work against poison. You have to be hit by a monster or a person. But yes, it needs to be active before you get under 10%. You could turn it on at 5 HP and have the person hit a 0 and it will work, though.

That's simply not true, you can change Kalphites and he can give you those. But no one who slays would ever want to change out a kalphite assignment. Unless, you know, you're trying for the slowest xp you can possibly get.

It's definitely not easy, and you shouldn't be giving advice seeing as you don't even have a combat stat above 81. Even people who have all 99 for melee stats can't take the Kalphite Queen in one trip every time. Most of the time they have to teleport out and go back down to kill the second form.

They do have all of the max hits wrong on ancient magick barrage spells. I wouldn't trust the KB quite yet.

They won't ever drop because it costs that much to get an onyx gem plus a little extra so the crafters profit. Cranford, it's easy to buy an onyx gem with the chaos runes and find someone on the official forums willing to trade you a fury for the onyx gem plus 50k so they make a profit. It will be cheaper than buying from people that way.

I think they are supposed to be barrows gloves cuz they look like dharoks. impossible. 27 would require you to put all your lvls into the 40 range for temple of ikov and 50 mage is a req for dt which would put you above 27 Yes... you're also forgetting that you ABSOLUTLY NEED 43 Prayer. Why? I've said it before... you cannot walk (it makes you walk...) through a group of level 120+ monsters in a multi-way zone without protect from melee. Trust me... I accidently let my prayer run out, and I was owned in less than a second. Didn't even have time to swig my prayer potion. (didn't loose anything of value, though). Plenty of pures have done Desert Treasure with 14 prayer (what you get from doing the pre-requisite quests).

Thats what I was thinking. Same junk - new spells and armor. I hate to jump on the 'rsc days' bandwaggon... but I certinaly found it funny when people 'owned' me.. and got my robes. Then at the end of the day i had lost a good number of prayer robes... but I had several sets of rune. So who got owned? me getting killed 20+ times... or the people I made money off of after they failed to kill me that second or third time. That's called you protecting your rune swords and not risking anything while people who kill you risk around 200k, therefore I would call you the newb.

NOT EVEN CLOSE, to what protect from magic does, lol, it reduces the amount of DAMAGE that happens to you when you get it, and if im correct, cuts the damage in half, IT DOES NOT lower the time frozen, trust me, i'd know :wink: It used to halve the time frozen or entangled, but a couple weeks ago there was an update that changed this. Can anyone else confirm that putting on the Ring of Stone while frozen or entangled removes the effect and makes it so you cannot be frozen anymore?

You can't kill a mage if they have food left because range hits so low, because your maximum hit will be barely over 20, however they can heal 20 every time you hit. When they do run out of food they can just run and you have no way of stopping them like mages do.

You need 175 quest points to get the better gloves.

If abyss RCing was so easy nats would be much cheaper and you would be making less money. It was put in the wild because it's so easy and there needs to be some risk.

Or you could run around the river and never meet a pker? Or you could drop your pouches, glory and pickaxe before you die when you do meet a pker, run to the bank, grab a glory and telegrab runes and tele to edge and go pick up the stuff you dropped? Or you could not make posts complaining because its the wild and you're bound to die because thats what the wild is for, pking.

fire giants arent good odds, people just kill tons of those so they eventually get one. shadow warriors are the best odds. steel drags, kbd, black demons and black dragons are your best bets.
