  1. Or you could still do them and mock the inexperienced idiots who think they can kill a metal dragon and pick up the loot they drop :D. It'll die down soon enough. But it's true that slayers are getting a lot of attention lately. A good thing, no? Yer, fair point :-k
  2. * plox (and various other versions of this) * noob (and various other versions of this "insult") * hacked (usually accompanied by lots of begging)
  3. Great, yet another blow to slayers... the metal dragons are going to be far too busy now... yet another task I'm going to have to skip now
  4. * Herbs are toadflax and tarromin * chocolate dust * crushed nests * green dragonhides * maple logs * Rune kites and helms * firelighters * half keys
  5. Just finished a round of tree farming... now off to slay 132 Abyssal Demons :)
  6. I completely neglect Runecrafting... mainly because I find it really boring. The majority of my experience in that skill comes from quests and experience lamps. I also neglect Hunting. Not because it's a bad skill, but because the best areas are far too busy to be any fun. Construction is also a little neglected, simply because I've got other priorities for spending my hard earned cash on lol.
  7. I believe you're correct about Runecrafting being consistently more profitable, but I prefer Slaying for several reason (many of which have already been mentioned). * The overall experience is faster (when you factor in melee/range/mage exp). * It's far more varied which keeps you sane. * Few things in game match the joy of earning a fantastic drop * I often earn clue scrolls which helps break up tasks, again, making them more enjoyable.
  8. The Civ series SIM City series (especially SIM city 3) Rise of Nations Homeworld Galactic Civilisations
  9. Slayer task - 170 Black Demons (one of my fave tasks).
  10. FavouriteBlack Demons Abyssal Demons Nechrayael Iron Dragons Dust Devils (but I rarely get those) Most Hated Steel Dragons Jungle Horrors Mutated Zygomites Aberrant Specters (too busy now) Infernal Mages (no drops that are worthwhile)
  11. Yeah, that is very cheap indeed. The only way to get it cheaper than that (guaranteed), is to get your workers at Miscellania to gather them for you. It works out at 92gp per ore if they do it for you. (and it's best that you complete both relevant quests)
  12. Cow hides are popular (30k+ exp per hour). If you don't mind a big loss, then craft silver bars (50k+ exp per hour) If you wanna make a profit, then go right on making bow strings.
  13. Another popular investment is Miscellanian Kingdom, but you need to have completed both quests for it to be worthwhile.
  14. There's quite a few monsters drop a lot of nats... Basilisks Cockatrice Turoth Trolls (in particular ice trolls) Jungle Horrors Cave Horrors But no monster is actually quicker than crafting them for yourself. I'm not sure I'd recommend any monster for the excluse use of harvesting nats.
  15. Chiodos - There's No Penguins In Alaska
  16. It was a great movie, but there's already a thread dedicated to it mate... http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=654208
  17. I went to see it last night with a few mates.... probably the worst movie I've seen this year. The plot (what there was of it), was very poorly executed, the acting was, well, awful, and it was at times, just down right ridiculous. The only bright spot in this movie was the effects.... those were quite impressive at times. 2/10 from me.
  18. I always wait for the guide release... nothing I hate more than blindly stumbling around, wasting precious time doing nothing lol. I prefer having the guide to get it over and done with so I can get back to what I was doing.
  19. I'd prefer game moderator.... just think it'd be great to actually be able to do something about the cheats I see each day lol (instead of hoping that jagex actually read my abuse reports). And having a nice little crown next to my name is very appealing lol.
  20. I've been gaming since I was five years old (with my amazing Vic 20), so that's 24 years :) Been internet gaming for about 8 years (since early '99)
  21. Yet another slaying task... aberrants this time. Will likely do a round of farming when I'm done :)
  22. Nah, i haven't noticed a big difference. In fact, I often get a good drop with my "one for luck" kill, after I'm actually finished the task lol.
  23. By buying Un'ids I imagine. Difficult to see how they'd do it otherwise except maybe with ranarr and gathering their own snapes.
  24. I love war movies... my faves from WW2 * Saving Private Ryan * Band of Brothers (TV Series) * U571 * Battle of Britain * Longest Day * Enemy At The Gates * The Great Escape (yes it's a war movie!) * Schindler's List
  25. Ladies and Gentlemen... Jade Goody...
