You need 60 attack. I don't believe there's a quest required and the only monster that drops it is the Chaos Elemental I believe (a team kill really). They're also tradable.

I've been saving these bones for a few weeks. Now got four long bones and one curved. I can't spend them until I've done the quest lol.

Report them to Jagex and ignore them... you're likely correct that they are laden with keyloggers as suchlike.

Depends on your level, but yes... it's definately worth it if you're able to play and complete each game in a reasonable length of time. Even if you don't earn a barrows item, you are rewarded with high value runes and bolts, and the experience isn't too bad either. The main draw back is the risk that it entails, and the frustration of not earning a barrows item in many runs. Overall, definately worth it though.

I've complete more games than I care to remember, but on the same subject, there's so many games I've played that you can never truly complete... i.e. Runescape (unless you max out everything, and no one has done that) Guild Wars San Andreas Sim City The Sims Freelancer hehe, there's lots of open ended games I guess that you can never really complete. The reason I mention these is becuase I've probably put more hours into them than the games I've truly completed. Yeah, and with the way Jagex are updated the teleportation/transportation network, it's currently not that hard to get to, nor will it be in the future I suspect.

I believe the game has enough content to survive a while without any more updates. I think that a few months would be about the max I'd keep playing for.

A friend gave me full initiate and a dragon mace for my first trip to the metal dragons.... he also insisted on me keeping it as he needed bank space. That same friend also loaned me a fury ammy to see if it was worth me spending 4m on one of my own... good friend whom I don't even know in real life. It's very rare to come across a player like that, especially in Runescape.
