  1. Not that long... about 30 mins or so I recon. BTW, playing the minigame isn't the most efficient way of collecting sticks. Best thing to do is to mine topaz, jade and opal... cut them and sell to the store in the Tribal Village... much much quicker :)
  2. Official World Guide ----> http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=633733
  3. Or first floor if you're British ;) He's the guy sitting down... take some money as you often have to pay for chaning/selecting a new herald
  4. Guessing from your stats, you're P2P... in that case I'd suggest the Ogre Cages northwest of Ardy. Fast training since you'll hit often, you're completely safe from retaliation and you can train prayer at the same time if you like. Plus, you get quite a lot of good seed drops, including ranarr.
  5. While I enjoyed Family Guy the movie, I don't think it was as funny as some of the episodes I've watched. Funniest animated show : American Dad Funniest American show : Friends & Curb Your Enthusiasm Funniest British show : Extras & Still Game Funniest Movie : American Pie series & 40 Year Old Virgin ... although it must be said, my tastes change all of the time. These wouldn't be my favourites a few weeks from now :)

Yeah, watched the trailer a couple of week ago.... recon it's gonna be a blast! Yipi-Kai-A-Mot........ ;) ;) ;)
  7. Watched it last night.... kinda long, but I really enjoyed it. Without giving anything away, I'd say it's not quite as good as the first, but waaaaay better than the second one. 8.5/10 from me
  8. Critters 2 Tremors 2 Charlies Angels 2 Phantom Menace (20 years for that!) - kinda' a prequel too I suppose Star Trek 5 (The Final Frontier) Blade Trinity (basically a 2 hour Ipod commercial) Rocky 5 (what were they thinking?... or were they?) Starship Troopers 2 (had basically nothing to do with the original) Battle Royale 2 (gah!)
  9. Erm, I have... read my post again, you must've missed that one. Figure out a cure? You mean like we haven't done for HIV after 30 years of research? Imagine a vector that's as deadly but is airborne. That would truly be the end of us. Speaking of which, there's still no cure for the buebonic plague, even after all these centuries, which wiped out 30%+ of Europes population. Bird flu is also incurable, as is the common flu and all it's various mutations. We're not quite in the clear and it would be foolish to assume that we are. The human race is not doomed. We are technically capable and clever enough to overcome any foreseeable problem... we just need the political and economic will to meet these challanges.
  10. You probably look at a clock, dozens of times a day, every day of the week... it's no surprise that you sometimes happen to look when the time is a little "odd" i.e. 13:37 (omg.. I'm must be elite!!!) 11:11 (omg... I have special powers!) 22:22 (omg... my special powers have just doubled) 12:34 (omg omg omg.... I have the special power of counting!) you see my point I'm sure ;)
  11. I can wiggle my ears and my nose... I can also curl my tongue :)
  12. Isn't there a shortcut once the quest is completed? i'm sure that if you go under Karamja volcano, and use the escape passage you used during the quest, that you can still go through the wall in reverse, back up the passway and climb back up onto the island.
  13. Kaiser Chiefs - Ruby
  14. Trowel : Not to be used for archaeological digs.... .... erm, why not man? A trowel is a trowel. LOL
  15. Nah, I'm pretty convinced that the Varrock Museum update is just a new minigame... nothing more. :(
  16. In the hospital ;)
  17. Forgot, I always have Winamp running, playing various songs (anything but RS music gah!). And various anti-virus, anti-spam and firewall programs running
  18. I read a lot of science fiction. I generally make a point of reading at least two books per month since I commute a lot. My favourite series so far is the Honor Harrington series by David Weber. It's ten books so far along with various side novels. Everything I've read in the last few years or so.... David Weber - Honor Harrington series (10 books) David Drake - Belisarius series (5 books) David Weber and John Ringo - Maclintock series (4 books) Harry Turtledover - World War series (7 books) - an alternative history Peter F Hamility - Nights Dawn trilogy Chris Bunch & Alan Cole - Sten series (8 books) David Feintuch - Midshipman series (first 4 books) Kim Stanely Robinson - Mars series (3 books) L Ron Hubard - Battlefield Earth (waaaaay better than the movie) Elizabeth Moon - Paksinarion series (3 books) Kevin K Anderson - Saga of Seven Suns series (5 books) Jack Mcdevit - read 6 of his books so far... John Ringo - the Gust Front series (4 books I think) David Drake - Lt Leary series (3 books) S M Stirling - read about 4 of his books so far... Steven Baxter - think I've read everything he's written now Walter H Hunt - Dark Wing series Larry Niven - Ringworld series and Fallen Angels Donald Moffitt - Genesis series and lots of other single books which I can't be bothered listing lol....
  19. In response to your first, are humans responsible for the environmental problems, I think it's fairly clear that we are for the most part. It is possible to examine the Earth's climatic history by analysing various items such as ice cores, earth strata and various other fossils. It's quite clear that we're entering a period of extreme warming that hasn't occurred in the past. As for your second part... natural ethics? To use the word "ethics" is to suggest that someone or something created the earth with some intention in mind. That is a largely philosophical debate, but please consider this. You suggest that we shouldn't mess with the planet and that we're disrupting life on this planet and that we shouldn't be doing so. My question is "Why shouldn't we?". This is our planet, we're the dominant species and what we're doing to animal life has happened over and over again in the past. There's been massive extinctions and life always recovers. That's the nature of evolution. Consider one more thing however. If we're not allowed to mess around with this planet, then what is the point? This planet along with ALL lifebearing planets are ulitmately doomed anyway. Our star can only support life on this planet for a certain length of time anyway. Sooner or later, this, everything around you, will all be for nothing anyway. We're just along for the ride. If life is part of some grand plan or "ethics" as you used, then is it some kind of huge cosmological joke that our planet is going to be wiped out anyway and all this struggle, strife and debate is ultimately for absolutely nothing. What kind of being/creature/god would conceive such a senario? In regards to human lifespans. Our life expecancy has increased mainly due to improved diets not just better medical care and available treatments. Without any actual tinkering, humans should naturally live until their mid-seventies, it's just that our past living conditions have not permitted this. As with most other species, once they reach a certain maxed out population, something comes along that wipes them out to more managable levels, such as plagues, disease and starvation. I suspect nature will in time correct our species too, and curb our population. I imagine this will be in the form of some global plague much like the influenza pandemic but far more extreme. If not, I imagine we're due some pretty enormous wars which will no doubt be sparked by the ever dwinding resources we require to support our level of civilisation.
  20. Geez, must be armed with a nuke or something ;)
  21. Like most others, I just jumped right in without reading the rules. To be honest, if you're a regular gamer, then there's no need to read the rules, since they're VERY obvious anyway. They're similar to those found in most other games and are of course, just common good manners. I have read them now though :)
  22. I use a guide for almost every quest. I don't really like doing quests... mainly because they're time intensive and the reward doesn't reflect the time put in. As such, I like to get them out of the way as quickly as possible which is why I use guides.
  23. I think I average 20 hours per week... so close to 3 hours per day :) But it varies quite a bit depending on how busy I am at work or if I've got stuff planned with mates. Sometimes I can't get on for a few days in a row :(
  24. For me... TipIt Forums BBC news and sport IMDB and lots of other random sites...
  25. Morale : possibly influenced by carrying a musical instrument, or by the number of kills in a certain time period. Necromancy : a fantastic new skillset with bones/corpses Dexterity : influcencies accuracy on a new range of bows/swords Just a few of my ideas :)
