If it's getting to you maybe you should take a break for a while. Plus you can't really talk about "hard work" on runescape because all it involves is clicking.

Just walk about world 1 and get use to prices, then just find people selling items low and buy then sell higher. That's all I use to do. I'll try to find a link for a good guide for you.
