So, I was doing a level 3 clue, walking to the gnome village from castle war's, and I see this. Hmm, gnome's finally using their brains, and using a SAFESPOT!

Navy, what gold means is, adjust it to match the bg... For instance, what I noticed is there is a roof in the bg.... You could attempt to skew the text to seem asthough it is imprinted on the roof. Not bad, but the text is the only let down. About the tag itself, it is extremely dull, and the focus is on that one petal. What you could do is, select a piece of the background, and keep it colored, to keep the focus balanced. So, to recap, Text needs to be adjusted to fit the bg better, not just slapped on, Take my tag for eg..., and keep the focus on the center of the tag.

Imho, you should continue with your abstract grunge style, because those are the one's that really made me say WOW...

4 Does have a render, if you look REAL close, incorporated into the background really. My style is an abstract using a render made in Apophysis 2.0. I have so many more, but I had them uploaded on imageshack, and o_O I have many saved, so I'll reupload them.

Imo, the Render should stand out more... Very Nice tho

Tech borders, I havent seen one of those for a while. If you really want to spice them up, try adding a tech effect to it, for instance, Having the tech circles spin, etc... The possibilities with tech borders are endless.

Then again, so would alot of peoples sigs be unicolored if thats your definition of it. *looks at your sig* Unicolor would be ONE COLOR- i believe i see white, black, flesh color, brown, tan, yah yah. Well whatever, thats your opinion. Anyway- i think this one is nice, you used your colors well! First off, I'm not saying his sig is bad, I'm just saying, that more color could be added, as there are plenty of colors in the render. You see different colors on his sig, because that is the contrast cause by the brushing/levels, or whichever contrasting method he used. I do believe he did use a color balance layer. On the other hand, I used many different layers of coloring, using soft grunge brushes, on layer style "color", it is many shades of the color you see. My point is, he should fully use the render's color, so the sig would not seem boring. Overall, the only fault other than the coloring I see is the render, and 3d renders dont match the bg well, although the brushes match the Army "genre" of renders.

The sig is sorta unicolored, try experimenting with using the render for coloring, eg. Set a gaussian blur on the render, then set the blurred render on color, etc... (If you're using ps that is)

Nice find, but I prefer good ole' photoshop.
