Rangers are overpowered when they combine themselves with the power of magic. Snare, Weaken, Bind, Curse. All these spells make the kill a hell load easier and if the opponent can't move it's deadly and cheap kills.

Why not this saturday, WHY NOT THIS SATURDAY?! THIS saturday is today and i just want loads of people to know about it... maybe i COULD make it a week earlier than 23rd but i really do think this event needs good decisions and co-ordination by those co-ordinating it and as you can see there is so much that still needs to be improved. Yeah it sure is up for debate and im open for suggestions but i do think iron maiden and guns n' roses are great choices the trooper and and you could be mine (forgot proper title) would fit in really well. But i guess me and leader could like work on it and edit it in and try out different combinations. I'd like to see if stranglers would sound good (no more heroes ftw!) Although i still think a music from the troy soundtrack would fit in but maybe not as well as other music.

I'm an indian myself living outiside india and im in UK at the moment. I went to india recently for 3 weeks holidays and yes the swastika is a very auspicious symbol there it is in fact a symbol thought to bring luck, success etc. So that is probably the reason why hitler chose that symbol along with the fact it is in an aryan symbol. But yes i respect the swastika. And nowadays when people see it they think "0mfg0rx h1t13r 5upp0rter," I infact never knew the aryan symbol was also an auspicious hindu symbol (until of course i went to india recently, im only 12 :XD: ) But yes the swastika has had too much punishment... however indians cant really shun germany. Presently most of the indians are descendants of the aryans (the people that became rulers of india in ancient times) and these people came from areas around germany so in fact the most ancient indian languages e.g Sanskrit is a mixtures of ancient celtic, clan, tribal and german languages i hear. So without the aryan race hinduism wouldn't exist because until before the aryans came natives worshipped nature while the aryans worshipped divinity, fear and power all these deities combined made hinduism the religion it is today. People can say the aryans are "bad" people but in fact. The East and the West have been influenced by the aryans tremendously and although there were it's downsides, "hitler" for instance was just looking for an excuse and used his aryan blood as one. So we should not give germany and the swastika a bad name. Infact in germany they teach how terrible hitler was and how wrong he was, they do not promote him any discussion of hitler that is supportive of his actions are totally illegal in germany. The Swastika is a sign of progress, success, power and so on. Let it still be treated as an auspicious symbol in my opinion because it is.

Can i suggest some music? Hmm yeah parker can work with me and the other leaders to figure out some music to go well with the spartans, i was thinking like the music from troy but i don't know what do you think?

Hmm like tefda said it is quite hard to make everyone follow certain people so i was thinking, what if we all followed in single file and say... 2handed swords behind me and pompey follows say the last person of the 2handed sword wielders, then the spears follow him, then bows follow fear, etc. If we have a huge line then perhaps it would still look good and be easy to co-ordinate?

Agreed. Marching in a square formation would be hard due to the limited co-ordinating skills we have on runescape. But if we get an equivalent amount of people to follow each leader in single file. And if the leaders marched side by side. It should look like a square, rectangle kind of.

Caskade i am impressed with your research! :shock: I have made a few updates to the main post, there are new leaders nominated. We have 5 leaders at the moment and 4 nominations still waiting to be confirmed, i am going to send each of the nominees a pm asking whether they are still upto being one of the leaders. Just to clarify a leader's job is to: Help co-ordinate the event Answer any questions other people may have about the event The army might have to split off into lines rather than a scramble so leaders will have to take responsibility for each of their lines. Current leaders must meet me and others at a location which i will pm them. The Leaders will be testing out different combinations of the outfit, confirming our outfits and normal people's outfits. Times, Route taken and which worlds we shall go to will be discussed as well. Finally after costume and route are decided we just have to wait for the event. Meeting will probably take place at September 10th and moopy you get the helmet at the port sarim shop just south of the void knight squire. their 5.5k last time i checked.

Hmm i dunno about that, the idea was that we should all make a HUGE army to amaze all the people of f2p! when they see a huge army of tip iters and spartans they will begin to wonder what is going on? and it'll be fun to see their reactions. Plus it will look awesome! We'll all meet at Earth altar and move out to varrock, then to lumbridge to greet the new players, after that we will go back to varrock and through the road to falador and log out at taverly gate after paying a quick visit to good old fally. Then we go on our p2p conquest to kill the gnomes... We own this battlefield woot!

Woot thats another one! Pompey thats no problem, :) . I'll consider some costume changes a bit later once i can get back onto RS (internet problems). After all we got loads of time to make this event the best it can be! Perhaps even add a few f2p places to visit, any suggestions can be posted on the forum (so i can bump it by replying to it hehe) or pm me with your suggestions and nominations. :D
