And ooh yeah you spent a few million pixel money achieving it too... achievement indeed... Why do you post achievements in your sig ? Would be just as 'geeky' as a lvl 99-skiller showing his achievement inside the game (according to you) except of course for the time the 99-er has spent on the skill, which makes him/her the geek. As long as new people will get lvl 99 skills, they'll be getting one, even if only for just the heck of it. They're here to stay till the next fad. No im not calling people with lvl 99 skills geeks, but that is what a vast majority of the rs community will look at it as... You know its the truth. Is a cape worth being called a geek and no lifer all the time?

Its a online forum.. Why does there HAVE to be people that are mean? Why is it NESSESARY to be mean? Your explaination doesnt cut it for me, saying that its part of life is like saying that a when a 747 jet crashes and kills all the people in the plane, it isnt horrible because its bound to happen sometime, It still is horrible, its still bad. Flaming is still unessesary and stupid. Just an opinion. Flamers feed off opinions, they just have to make something clever against it and then it provokes a war of opinions and insults. You just don't get it. You're being too literal. Did we have to deal with brain cells in the Mind update? Blood is going to be in the Myreque quest series. Now, the elements earth, water, air, fire are already out. But did they have a tornado door? A tree door? A volcano door? No because that isn't the ELEMENT. thats whole last part was reduckulous Actually it makes very much sense Its about as "reduckulous" as blood being in this plot. Stop flaming and share the love hippie stlye :mrgreen: I believe there will be a life rune soon, and along with this life and death will be in the elemental workshop, life and death are of course elements of life we'll all have to deal with. As for me i aint even completed workshop 2... will need to do soon lol.

In my opinion i dont think the new capes will last at first it will be cool but when say someone that doesnt have one comes along the first reaction will be "omg! How can you spend so long on a game??? n0 l1f3r!" And the classic and over used "Geek", will skill capes really be that popular? Quest capes will be because doing so many quests isnt that time consuming and is looked at by most of the rs community as way more fun than lvling up. These capes will be a passing thing, giving rubbish bonuses or not much of an incentive to spend so much time on, id prefer to be doing barrows (its more challenging at my lvl) i feel somethings fun when something can go wrong, people will be called no lifer and geek because of the herblore cape they wear or the fletching cape they wear. Discuss.

My weird collection on runescape is the amount of hours i spend on this game lmao.

I just dont understand how this will work, people will take the piss out of storyline bits and so on and people will just tell others what to do and please if your getting players to act as npcs i doubt they'll stand there all day... But yeah if this does work id be surprised but it is a good idea i have to admit, im just intrigued to see how it will work... :-s

About the skill capes... Do you really want people to know the countless hours you spend on the game, if you think about it as soon as you wear those capes get ready for a barrage of 0mfg0rx n0 l1f3r! G33k!

My thoughts exactly slushee. I personally think it wont be an xp boost... why do you need faster xp in a skill that you got 99 on unless you wanna reach no.1 spot at it which most people wont have the time or lack of a social life to do. It would be cool if you had something added to your name when u talk, like when you speak to people on public chat window itll be a tree next to you if you have 99 wc, that weird egg with arrows on it for runecraft etc. But meh for a proper bonus Runecraft for instance could be like triple natures or something, and woodcutting is like yew logs fill up twice as fast etc. I personally think there should be some inaccessible tree or log or item whatever except for the lvl 99 in a level. Or there was a special guild for lvl 99ers where you can only get in by wearing the cape... the underground fishing guild... or the 2nd lvl of the mining guild or whatever lol.
