  1. I'd come back if you like skilling, the community, fun junk like that. But if you're into deep-frying puppies and trampling flowers than I'd go with GW. Much more fighting based.
  2. Darn right it was. :D But I'm glad to see everyone's enjoying similar success as we do.
  3. I doubt he'll quit. He was red to me, and I'm 113. So this loss probably isn't TOO big for him. Hopefully it'll be big enough to teach him some manners ... And some correct King Dagging techniques. :D
  4. Than you, my friend, would be out a pretty Guthan's Spear and Helm. And I wasn't "taunting him". Did you read my post?
  5. I can't believe I was panicing over this guy ... I couldn't think straight. Lord Soultar, he could of used a rune thrown axe, but he was a mage. It is also possible (him being a mage) that he had entered before his team. But with all 3 Kings on me, I wasn't sticking around to find out. And Chewy, I tried to give him a chance. Why on earth would you cuss at someone whom's giving you all of your stuff back? It is not his right to have that back, he was abusing my generosity. If he is going to be nasty to me, then he doesn't deserve that priviledge.
  6. I wake up this morning, and am promptly requested at Dags. I'm low on cash, very low, and am all for the idea. We depart and it's a decent trip, Trojann gets a zerker and warrior (again!) and Lee gets a seers. Not bad, but we were ALL hungry for more later. After a few barrows trips and learning a whole new meleeing technique, it's back to smithing. But I'd barely get 1,000 bars in before it was back to good ol' Dagannoth Pigeons. :D This time, we had a visitor. Rather, a companion to help Lee and I range. Said companion was QueenValerie, and she did GREAT for her first time. Well, relatively. And certainly better than Lee and I did our first time. This quote ring any bells: "Ffs! You can't click to open a door?" Things went VERY smoothly in the beginning, we took down Sup with little to no problems. The trip progressed, and we were well, dropless. Needless to say, I was pretty tweaked. And the fact that even the godly Lee was a bit a fault wasn't helping. He'd gone out a bit far and *boom*, Sup and Prime on us both, the entrance all over again. We snapped out of it, and the trip continued on smoothly. The trip wasn't bad, it was simply unlucky. So with our heads hanging low, and my mind flying high, we tellied out one by one. Lee first, quickly followed by Trojann (Val had already tellied, but stayed quite long considering her gear). I'm about to telly when I spot a solo-er enter the room. He runs past Sup, past Rex, past Prime and falls at my feet. I don't know whether he lagged, or was his first time. But either way I see a big fat "Guthan's Helm 0" and "Guthan's Spear 0" sitting in front of me. With Supreme in my face I'm in a panic grabbing the items and tellying to Cammy. I'm truly a wreck now, looking around frantically and running around blazing. I grab Lee and Val, rip them off eachother, and pull them to behind Cammy bank. The words were barely coming out, and the chat box was filled with incoherent messages entitled (for the most part) Cdub Foo: omgdofg!!11. I feel horrible about this guy's loss. I am DESPERATELY trying to find his name, but all that was said was "Hiya" by yours truly. Finally, Lee and Val talk me down and somehow convince me there was nothing I could do. But I wouldn't rest at that, I camped out at the Camelot Teleportation spot for a few minutes, and lo and behold he comes. I trade him the helm, the spear, and lag out before I can accept. I log back in and the following happens. I'll write it in dialogue to spare you all the reading. The dead solo-er will be called X for these purposes. [-] Means there's a naughty word. X- Give me my [-] stuff back you dead noob [-]! These aren't so much swears, but mostly sexual-preference slurs. If you know me you'd know I have NO tolerance for this. But I figure he's razzed, I'd be too. So I put up the spear and, oh my, lag [bleep]e. It's happened to us all, just not like this. I see the spear sitting there, and can't offer the helm. I glance down to the chat box and see, X- My [-]ing helm too! This is it. My kindness and my patience are both LONG expired. I hand out the harshess scolding I have ... Ever (that's right Troj., your stuff times 1,000,000). In short, there was NO way this guy's getting his stuff back now. And I have the most sureal experience. I realize some people don't deserve my kindness. And this jerk was one of them. He will NEVER see these again. EVER. If he traded me in World 2 for 100M, I would gladly decline. I'm off to sell these right now. And to think I almost had an ulcer over this guy. Thanks for reading, hope you all enjoyed.
  7. Sorry I couldn't go, guys. :( I totally regret it now! Trojann can vouch for me here, but I just got off the laptop.
  8. then y does ur sig say 76? if u beleifed in sigs all ur lyfe den were would u b?!?!?!?!?!?!@11 Anyways my highest skill in 64 fishing but soon it will be 99 smithing  I can FEEL my IQ dropping. And methinks this thread would be a bit depressing if people excluded the terrible-2 and the other (about 4) ridiculously easy skills.
  9. Breaking chairs over the backs of your friends! :)
  10. Mine are: 85 Slayer 81 Herblore 98 Attack I HATE easy skills. Especially the big 2 (Cooking & Fletching). Such skills are some of my peeves so I'll leave it at that.
  11. Thank you. I feel better now. Glad folks came to my defense, I appreciate all defenders of my honor. lol. Thank you all. And no, I didn't PK you Satenza, PKing is against my karma religion. :P Actually, Troj, I meant you're a pro because of how smooth you keep Rex off us when we're doing Supreme in the middle of the room. Perfection. It's a good compliment Troj., you were doing amazing! In fact, I smell another trip this weekend. :o
  12. BAD idea! Don't even put such ideas into peoples heads. EDIT: This technique works best with guthan's and a dragon-chainbody in your inventory.
  13. Oh, I see. Any advice on how to get it up quickly?
  14. I vaguely understood the old Miscellanian System, but never really utilized it. Now, I've come to understand there's a new system, with new rewards. I plan on getting a 100% approval rating to increase the yield of my workers. My question is, how long does this 100% last? In other words, at what rate does my approval mitigate? Thanks!
  15. Sounds like a good idea, but for now you'll have to cope. Until then, there's still a few "status-symbols". So for now, go get that Fire Cape!
  16. I've done this multiple times. I quickly became bored, the KQ isn't particularly bright. But don't tell her that ... I can handle a few newbs pestering me, but such an NPC might slow down my thieving XP a bit! EDIT: Tsk Gothic, always so negative! And this takes talent, as logic is fairly useless on the illogical.
  17. 1) There is absolutely NO ONE that can resist my mind powers. Search within yourself, you know you can't resist them either. 2) I didn't think you could turn people into a word but, well, you did! And I like people! Just not people that make me angry. You of all people should know that you won't like Cdub when he's angry. :!: Oho, Cdub, I'm pretty sure I put my powers to use on you at least once! And, well, yeah, this is the power of the Force. And I was just making fun of your "peopling" mistake in your first post which I couldn't help but smiling at  Erm- that wasn't a mistake. Peopling is a word. You don't think my pseudo-mistake is funny. You also don't think I spell poorly.

  19. Maybe we can exchange tips? My slayer-advice for your advice of the thieving variety. :D Just make sure you're not being followed! EDIT: Just read the story in the post above me and I'm still laughing! And above that, a noob is not necessarily (albeit usually) a newb, and just to clear things up, a newb is not necessarily a noob. Newb refers to how long you've been playing, noob refers to your attitude.
  20. If only he had my amazing Jedi-Mind-Powers.
  21. To be honest, this title has 2 meanings, and neither are too amazing. First off, I'd like to say one discovery is more of a confirmation. I have confirmed that I have jedi-mind-powers. The second realization is that you can reason with almost anyone, in any situation, for almost ANY reason. Despite what you think. My story begins on my quest to thieve Paladins. After 5 minutes of knocking-out Thugs I'd given up, and headed back to the beloved thieving-capital of RS, Ardougne. Now it's not that I don't like people, I just don't like peopling bugging me. So, instead of thieving in ever-popular Ardougne square I decided to rob the poor knight guarding King Lathas. I felt bad about looting him over and over again, he's such a small fish in a big pond around those big, tough Paladins. :( Things were going well, and I was quickly approaching a thieving level. That is, they were going well until I saw one of the most dreaded sights I've beheld in a LONG time. I spot a level-56 making his way towards me. I'm thinking, "no problem" and "not all level-56's want to annoy me". Well, that's one hypothesis down the drain. Our conversation doesn't begin too bad, but it quickly goes down hill. The conversation wasn't anything anyone with a Fire Cape hasn't seen, something along the lines of: 56 - Umg u sooo lucky. Me - How's that? 56 - U have lava cape es untraedabnle, rite? Me - Yep. 56 - How u get? Me - Complete the Fight Caves mini-game and defeat a level-702 boss. (I've said this too many times, it's like an auto-response) 56 - Lol there no 702 2 get lava cape Me - There is, and it's called a Fire cape. * Well, I'll edit this part out because it's essentially a 10-minute discussion about how it's called a Fire Cape. It ends in a stalemate, and he decides to elevate the situation. * 56 - I think im guna kill that night (He begins to kill the knight. It's a slaughter, constant 5's and 6's galore) Me - Be considerate, you don't want to kill that knight! 56 - K And he walks away. If you were wondering, this is where I realized I had jedi-mind-powers. I also found that some people aren't stubborn fools. But hey, I could be wrong (but not about the mind powers)! That's my lil' blurb ... Just thought I'd like to share! (It gets awful boring thieving knights all alone [in world 9 Ardougne Castle])
  22. You'll be average. Completely, utterly average. But you know what, that's not so bad!
  23. verac does pose as a challenge. but whenever i fun verac people, its like, they dont do their best or i dunno its normally not a big deal, now i see what you mean when it come to stakin against verac, wow close to the same lvl, 115 vs 119, definately going to pose some risk. i found, full rune works great with d dagger whip, the usual melee set up, then just bring full verac and a god cape, ur talk -10 magic atk with 260 melee defense, take off the skirt and put on something like then, make sure u have some runes for a few spells of ancient magic. any way, zot, dont worry it shouldnt be a big deal to make 10k nats for another whip Yep Satenza ... Can't get enough of those Newspaper Articles on "Verac Attacks" in Vegas! :D Don't quit Zot! There are loads of ways you could make the cash back, with your stats.
  24. If you look on the RS forums, there's already a thread about it. Try world 78.
  25. Either way, it was a great time- and no one can convince me otherwise! :D You may be a moderator, but you certainly need to exercise some humility. I'm not a P-Mod, nor are most of my friends. I don't really care for the attention. And what makes you so confident I haven't denied modship?
