  1. Sorry, Met- you'll get drops soon enough. Our trip truly was amazing... But Odd seemed a bit annoyed at me for some reason. And no hard feelings abuot killing me Lee, as you know I was successful tonight! :D
  2. Just got it!!!! 3rd try, at that. Don't really have proof, but you can ask reputable TIF members. The feeling when Jad bowed to me... RSN: Cdub_Foo
  3. I'm about the most biased person one could as to answer this question, but here it goes. I hate merchants. Hate 'em, hate 'em, hate 'em. But it's not blind, irrational rage- I hate them for plenty of valid reasons. To explain, recently I was getting my herblore up, therefore spending a lot of time in World 2, "buying unids above ranarr". I spent hours upon hours... Watching my deals slip away to merchants. Well, that's fine; I figured. They have just as much a right to buy those unids as I. But what really got me ticked... Merchant - "Get off my turf, I buy unids here." Me - "This is supposed to be a common place to buy unids, and I need as quick xp as possible." Merchant - "Oh you're a skiller? Want to be unids?" Me - "That's why I'm here. So how many do you have?" Merchant - "20k" Me - "Wow! That's a lot of unids. How much each?" Merchant - "3k Each." Me - "That's kinda pricey. And I am buying from these other people for 2,000 each. Why do you deserve more money than them?" Merchant - "It's not my fault these noobs don't know prices." At this point I've removed him, and decided to keep buying from the commoners. But I've drawn a few things from this experience. a. Merchants believe as a whole they're entitled to sell at a greater price than those who work for their items- and therefore refuse to sell for the NORMAL price. b. Merchants enjoy offering .1K more per unid, because they can afford it- right? I would too if I was still making 700GP+ off of every unid. c. Merchants are OBNOXIOUS. Besides the fact they are frugal (actually NOT a gross over-generalization. They profit from being frugal), they will refuse to sell to anyone who offers a cent less than their selling price- even though that price is still ridiculously high. Say what you'd like- but these are not generalizations. Even so, generalizations form for a reason- they're true (or have at least a ring of truth). Well that's my 2 cents.
  4. I thought it was a nice article. Even though my part in Odd's purchase and adventures was omitted. Well written, but I was looking for that contreversial punch I've come to except from the Times.
  5. Examine for a Corpse... Tickle his funny bone. How do you make a skeleton laugh? Clearly has been relaxing too long...
  6. There are no spells that require water and fire runes.... Yes, there is a spell that requires water and fire runes. Ape Atoll Teleport. Personally, I doubt we'll see any more staves. There will be no air/elemental combinations for obvious reasons; and a water/fire staff is just unnecessary.
  7. Just a little note. Thought you might want to change it. Nice guide, the update really improves it.
  8. I'll support. :D And your writing is remarkably similar to Hitler's... In a good way.
  9. Hitler favored his own people. Stalin ruthlessly excecuted 10,000,000 Russians, including his best friends. But anyways, I can't say "tool-kit" in castlewars. :? However, they were both brilliant leaders.
  10. That doesn't make it right. And a whip every 6 hours is NOT common (at least for me). I don't know what kind of rotten luck you're having. 6 Hours is an EXTREME on the luck meter. It's exactly like me preaching about getting a left half, then whips back to back.
  11. First of all, there's a "Rants" forum. Secondly, it's not a bug. I don't believe anyone else has experienced this, and I'm not sure if you're being truthful without evidence. Goodluck getting your stuff back, if this is true.
  12. I didn't like that story (a change from the majority of your stories). I realize the situation's annoying, and she may have appeared to be blatantly disrespecting you. However, the situation's a bit different. One demon, I get it. You've been there a while, and you like to establish a "ritual" (couldn't think of a better word). But 2? And then claiming them as your own? I don't like it Leesters. :( It's good that you gave her something after you understood she wasn't being intentionally difficult. But was it Karma? Or did you feel remorse for insulting her? (I still wub you, even if you're a pretensious Karma-confused story-teller!)
  13. First I'd like to say this isn't an application (unless you're compelled to give me your 1337 gear :P ). I'd just like to say good-bye. It's always a shame to lose an experienced player, doesn't help the community :? . Hope you've had fun- I'm sure you will in RL. Good luck with your life. Bye, to yet another RSer :( .
  14. Yes, and there's information (or a link to information) under the ranged guide. In the future, submit your questions in the Help and Advice forum for quicker answers.
  15. While they aren't titled Barrows Gloves, they aren't titled Dark Gloves either. You'd have to finish the quest to realize they're in fact barrows gloves. If you HAVE finished the quest, I'm surprised you missed the relation. Go take a good luck at the chest now (if you've finished). Is it coincidence that the colour of the gloves changes to suit the next strongest armour class? I think not.
  16. Hmm, let's see. On weekdays I'll get on for 5 - 6 hours. On the weekends I'll be on 12 hours frequently. And YES, I bathe. :o
  17. I agree. It's difficult to acquire all of the requirements for the quest- not to mention completing the quest itself. I believe the melee bonuses are justified (except strength, that's a little overboard). However, I don't think they should be the best hand-wear for mage and range as well. After all, wouldn't wearing barrows melee-armour decrease your mage and range offensive bonuses? (For the record, I DO have the dark gloves.)
  18. Cdub

    Names.

My name, as stupid as it may be, is Cdub Foo. Today, I saw two players with similar names. They were something along the lines of, Bdub and Gamer Foo. Honestly, I just don't care about people having similar names to mine. Actually, it was pretty funny to find a Bdub wandering around :P
