Well, Lee and I just did a few runs, I think 10 or so. Nothing too great. The first drop was a Power ammy, followed by another. Then a chain. Rune, of course. The next drop was a Spear, Adamant of course. Then finally, the shiny red thing. Yes, bloods! It was astounding, and I'm sure Lee will write it with pretty colors. Huzzah?

Wolf, you are misunderstanding his post. He has a fairly high magic level for his combat. He intended on using this to his advantage. I assume he would have done Ice Burst. However, *multi-target* ancient spells are disabled, not all. Therefore he can only use the lowly Ice Rush, which really isn't an advantage at all. Sorry for the lack of periods. Deal! :-#

I can clearly tell you're a function over form type of guy. You've seen the clear advantages of the skirt, and wisely decided that they are, in fact, a better "bang for your buck" than Dragon Legs. But, overall, Dragon Armour is the D Legs (in your situation) of armour. What I'm trying to say is, if you're more concerned about defence than form (which you clearly are), then spend the money on Torag's legs- the best in the game. So if it's the best defence you seek, it's T Legs for you (and this way, you don't have to endure the relentless calls of "crossdresser!").

What if you had higher range, and flew through the first tedious waves? It was not fault other than your own. Trips through the abyss are 1:00 - 1:30 minutes. There's a lot of dependency on where you spawn, and with what ease you clear the obstacles. Also, it can get to about 1:45 if you are walking the entire way.

I was just down in Zanaris, and I made 52 of these Magic Essence Potions. It took a decent amount of time to get a load (26) of Gorak Claws, but they ARE a 100% drop. They are very weak for their level, I'd say no stronger than Fire Giants. I also have to say I disagree with Sk8er, I did not find them all that hard to hit (I am also 99 attack), and I was not super-potted. They didn't hit me too hard, but I often found it difficult to heal with Guthan's as quickly as they hit me. All in all, I'd say the XP is okay. But, I have a feeling after a reasonable price is established in the market, you may be able to buy the Claws and collect the Starflower yourself (which is really quick), then sell the potion and break even. So, look out for these prices!

99 is a great option, but how about 48! I feel 9 is generally crowded from merchants, and the fact it's a low-numbered world doesn't exactly help. But 48 runs on the same server (so the connection won't mitigate with the transition), and it's always one of the most empty worlds. All in all there are plently of choices, and I feel 99 is already an alternate HYT world.

Whoever implied you should bring mystic robes, you might as well bring your best mage top and bottom. If you protect the mystic when you die, you'd evidently protect the Ahrim's. Also Blaziken, you should talk about the advantage of having a house on Karamja. The portal is literally a few steps away from the dungeon entrance! It's a great place to recharge prayer and bank, and all you need is 1 space for a teleport tablet to get there! Honestly, I don't see how that's funny. Not to mention to know of a certain stat advantage, you don't necessarilly need to have it (ie. I'm sure you knew about 70 agility into Taverly Dungeon before you had that stat). So perhaps make your next post constructive- instead of flaming, help him with your brilliant ideas to improve his guide.

I noticed a few things. 1) Pictures. Everyone loves to see pictures. Also, most people learn best visually, and definitely need some image-related reinforcement. People like to be familiar with what they're going up against before they do so. 2) You wrote very little about the combat interface. What do you use antifires for? When do you eat? Will I still be hit with fire, even if I have the shield and potion? Answer these and more that people may have. 3) Kinda like pictures. But, you need to give alternatives for worn options. I'm sure lower levels would enjoy your recommended materials, but higher levels would most likely bring Ahrim's, or a better amulet. And what about a helmet? 4) Put your subtitles in bold, and add a large bold title. Colors to differentiate between sections is helpful too. It can be a rough transition from How To Get There, and Advanced Techniques. Frankly the draft as it is lacks serious organization. Well, that's it. Not meant to be mean, just helpful! I'm sure this will be a great guide soon.

The trip was amazing! I still have the picture of my mind of Lee being barraged by spine-related fury as he stood before Supreme with mage pray on. At first I didn't know what to think of it, and assumed it was preventative, in the unlikely circumstance Supreme pulled out a staff and began maging. Then, after realizing what happen, I let a good 10 minutes of "L0l0lll0l" fly. And yes, spamming that well down there DOES require skill. And this was intricate spam, meaningful spam, but "spam" is all you will ever hear of it. :wink: All in all the trip owned. Me and Lee were staggering and switching, and Tro was a flat-out Rex-KO-unit. Not to mention he was working his B-day magic to get some loot from Rex. And about that loot Trojann, you can keep my share (Happy Birthday Jordy :D) . The thrill of Kinging that night was payment enough for me. There's a fine line between Bravery and Stupidity. I frankly crossed it. However, assuming my swears were not directed or meant to be a personal attack on Trojann, I could not be validly reported for swearing. Seeing as how my words were bleeped out, and could be misconstrued as one of the 100's of words Jagex bleeps without reason. So boo ya'.
