I hope. It's really not a bad idea if after a while you have to manually re-attack, then auto-retaliate begins to work again. I think this would help anti-afk's, and only be a minor inconvenience to honest players.

Did you say free con AND smithing xp?! Version 1.3 CLEARER!!
Cdub replied to RAHK's topic in General Discussion
Okay, you've found the GP:XP ratio. We all know this is cost effective, it will no doubt save you millions. Now find the difference in XP:Hour with this and Oak Lardering. I won't be doing this, it's not nearly as time-effective. But if you're tight on cash, and prioritize Money over Time and XP, than this is for you. I'll stick to Oak Larders and Iron Plates. :P -
Mass Forum Unbanning - How it affected me...
Cdub replied to Jard_Y_Dooku's topic in General Discussion
Welcome back. :) It's good to know some honest and constructive people gained from the Mass-Un-Banning. -
A Cwar team would be cool for Tip.It, maybe different ranks though, so everyone has an oppurtunity to play. With the new Team-Logging update you'd have to play against another clan of about equal size. That would be awesome. I'm a total Cwar Addict.

Yes, it is a scam e-mail. Besides the fact that Jagex says they'll NEVER e-mail you, there are a few other tell tale signs. A couple things that might make you say, "Perhaps this guy didn't think things through very well". 1) Jagex Staff would have their own domain name. They aren't going to use hotmail for non-personal e-mail accounts. Period. 2) You and I both know Jagex is a company based in the UK. Why would they make an e-mail account with a ".com" address? Even IF they were to use hotmail (which they wouldn't), it would be hotmail.co.uk. Just a couple tips, but they're really irrelevant, because Jagex will never e-mail you.

If Jagex based Ardougne off the city in Ancient France, Dordougne, then they have the pronounciation wrong. Dordougne (also Dordogne), is not pronounced "Door-Doy-N". Two pronounciations are widely accepted: Door-Dawn, and Door-Doon. However, local-tongues may pronounce it in a similar manner to "Door-Doin(/g)". If Jagex meant this they are mildly correct- but sure did the pronounciation-typing incorrectly . I've known this for a bit, and am very certain that Ardougne is based off Dordougne. Many aspects of RS are based off of famous / historical places and things. I've no reason to believe, with such a similar name, that Ardougne is not. But who knows- it's Jagex's game, maybe they aren't basing Ardougne off of Dordougne. Unlikely, but again: it's their game and who are we to say Ardougne is based off of Dordougne for sure. But if it is, than they DO have the pronounciation incorrect.

Yes, we aren't a clan. I thought the clan-evasion thing was to avoid outsiders, or to prevent TIF members from calling in whatever clan they were in. I guess I misinterpretated the rule. I wasn't trying to gain an unfair advantage by sticking together with my friends. I'm sorry, I misunderstood the rules: my bad. I had to go after the first round or so, but it's good to know people had a fun time taking out the remaining KO members, and just beating the brains out of eachother in general. :) Sad to say I don't think I will be at the KBD thing. Lee- I'm sorry if the KO-Unit thing was against what you had in mind. Like I said, I guess I read the no-clan-thing as a request for TIFers to not call in their respective clans. Had I known you didn't want groups of any type, I wouldn't have assembled my friends. I should've asked, I didn't know, I goofed. So, I apologize to anyone who got piled unwillingly, but I'm glad some people had fun with the whole "take down KO" thing after I left. Congrats to whomever won the later rounds, and sorry Lee if I messed up. :-#

I'll miss you aNty! Someone will have to take over the Tall-Noob-Slapping duties in the chat. Please don't delete mIRC, will feel emtpy without you. :(

I was thinking of this, but PC would be quicker- and your prayer recharges anywho. I haven't tried it, so I can't say from experience, but don't the Apes have high ranged-defense?

Requesting a "free for all" is a little bit of a stretch, Lee. If I was the organizer, I'd be happy with people sticking by what other requests you have. You can't think that friends won't leave other friends for later, or not kill them at all. Also, I don't think SODB is a clan- neither is K0 Unit. :-w

Leesters Fire Cape Blog - DAY 2
Cdub replied to Leesters's topic in BlogScape (Ongoing Progress Reports and Goals)
Good luck, Lee. Don't sweat a failed attempt, happens to us all. I didn't use sound, and switched fine without it. Pretty soon, I won't have much over you any more. We're friends?? :anxious: I think he's extending a friends-invitation your way! :-w -

157,140 Firemaking XP per hour with Maple Logs at Edgeville. But that's pretty concentrated with few mistakes.

It's a very interesting idea, I'll give you that. But seeing as Jagex is scrambling for ways to take GP out of the economy, it doesn't seem all too likely. EDIT- I just thought about the examine. I think you're confused on what they mean by interest. If they're advertising a "Low" interest rate, they're probably talking about lones. A greater interest rate translates to more money you owe the bank the longer you take to pay them.

I'm not going to debate you about the intent of Rule 8. However, I can tell you for a fact it is illegal to trade items from one account to another- no matter if you "earned them fair and square". I don't see how you could report this guy. In all likelihood he drop-traded, but there's no definitive proof.

Sorry again I missed the action, Lee. It sounds like it turned out to be widely successful anywho! I'm sorry to hear about your spear, Reb. I am sure you can make it back at a "Barrows Chaos" event. Count me in. :)

what is YOUR view/opinion on arrow thiefs(no it isnt a rant)
Cdub replied to bigcheese's topic in General Discussion
To address the topic, I do not approve of arrow-thieving because it's unkind and immorale. There. Before I address your character, I'd like to talk about your logic. You're trying to justify taking someone's arrows because: a) His or Her ranged level is too low B) He or She is polluting RS. I don't know about you, but I like to train my Ranged Skill with projectiles. Call me crazy, but it's just my thing. Hell, without said projectiles, I couldn't think of another way to raise my Ranged Level! So tell me, please, where's the logic in taking one's materials to raise one's ranged level, then telling them you did so because their ranged level's too low? Not sure what you were thinking at the time, but you might want to check the tracks on your Train-Of-Thought- it seems to have derailed. By the same logic, I should be able to prevent you from leveling Farming, because you're 71 and I'm 74? Believe me, if there was an "Uproot Jack-Wagon's Plant" feature, I'd use it; just for you, Champ. Or maybe, I should be able to plow your house over for an auxilary parking lot, because you're level 61 construction, and I'm 72? Now onto my favorite subject, your character. Flawless as it may seem at times (I'm sure!), you are in short, a jerk. You're purposely stealing from someone else, in regard to an item's value. Don't tell me you're not in it for that sweet 500Gp from those 50 Iron Arrows- I can tell you're price-aware. It's okay, you won't live on as a jerk, like Durial. But I assure you, it's because you won't have the oppurtunity. And the thought of that "taking candy from a baby" theme regarding stealing arrows because someone has a lower Ranged level... Sickening. I'm not easily offended, I don't jump to respond to a minor-insult. But you have a truly disgusting attitude, Big Guy. -
what is YOUR view/opinion on arrow thiefs(no it isnt a rant)
Cdub replied to bigcheese's topic in General Discussion
Technically, it's their right to take the arrows the same as it's yours to pick them back up. I don't advocate it, in fact I think it's pretty irritating. But my philosophy is, if they're scrambling around, stealing a couple dozen arrows, then they need it more than me. :) But if I'm actually NOT using my Cbow these days, I'll use my Xbow. And if I'm not using that, I'm using Broad-Arrows. They're equivilant to a Mith/Addy cross, and are untradable. The anti-theft arrow! RAHK's actually a very intelligent and honest person. You've just hit a hot button on this subject. Arrow stealing brings arguments and insults, and insults degrade the quality of the community. Perhaps if people are angry, because they think you advocate arrow-stealing, than you should make your opinion more clear. -
The Granite-Mine is located in the mid-Desert south of Shantay Pass. The quickest way to access it is to take the Magic-Carpet to the Bandit Camp. After that, proceed southward. Look for the Mining symbol on the western-most portion of your Mini Map.

I thought Deangut explained this pretty well. If I'm at Abyssal Demon on a slayer assignment, I'm probably there to kill about 200. Picking up coins may seem like a quick task, but with the extra click, walking time, and time lost from moving in a direction other than that of the next demon, you're losing about 4 seconds. I'm willing to wager that 75% of the drops are coins (at least mine are), so you're wasting 4 seconds on 150 Abyssal Demons. That is 600 seconds, or 10 minutes. 10 Minutes is easily enough time to kill a number of Abbies that can make the difference between a Whip-Trip and Non-Whip-Trip. Perhaps one who is not so quick to understand should bite his or her tongue; rather than critisizing the intelligence of others.

I quite like 101 cb...has got that nice orwellian feeling. FEAR ME! (I'm 101 cb btw :)) I like 99 the best. I mean, if you can Barrage at 100, pfft, you've got a 3 digit combat lvl, barraging shouldn't be that big a deal. But if you're under 100 combat and can Barrage, now that's where you get the respect =P~ . Let me take a wild guess.... You're under 100 combat? People keep basing their "Greatest level" opinions on the levels they are. 126 is the best level, forever and beyond. I agree with Freshwacka. Sure, if you're 80-90 combat and you can Barrage, all the more power to ya'. But honestly, I'd rather be 126 Combat and Barraging than 80 Combat. Unless you're in it for PvP, or a skiller, every level counts. And no matter how special your combat is versus your abilities, you're not going to stand much of a chance to someone 20 combat levels higher than you with the same special ability.

If you don't have bones to peaches, I'd say no more than 300. As low as 200 if you do have bones to peaches.
