Unless he wants to get it for the computer. Which I would highly suggest, seeing as TF2 has a much larger group of people, plus keyboard+mouse make Portal easier to control. I absoultely love it, and it's definitely worth the small amount of money (considering it's 5 games if you don't already have HL2). It has been stated before, and I'll say it again: It's worth it just for Portal, one of the most innovative games to have come out in a while. It may be short, but it's an excellent experience. And TF2 is just an overall excellent online FPS. So, as long as you like FPS's, then I'd say get it. Portal justified the $5 rental, no way I would have felt satisfied if I had dropped $60 on it. TF2 sucks for the 360 imo, maybe it's better for computer.

College football championship is tomorrow. Who do you all have to win? I think LSU represents the strongest conference in the land and shows that Florida's 41-14 win last year was not a fluke. LSU-31 Ohio State-21 Georgia should be in this game, but that is another thread...

I think looking ridiculous by using horrid grammar can top being in a birthday suit. some day you will learn to detect sarcasm wether or not you like it, some day. but seriously you have failed at that so many times in one day. There was a middle school pep rally for the homecoming football game, and I was on the middle school team. They had a game where all the 8th graders would run around and try to throw a cream pie at the coaches. I was slow and the coach was fast, and while chasing him, I slipped on some whipped cream and fell in front of everyone. Also, a year later, we were testing our vertical leap by touching the ruler thing on a concrete wall. As I went up, I hit my hand on the wall and broke my pinky. I had a cast for like two months and everyone kept asking what happened.

There is already a thread for it. I'd rent it to see if you like the Half Life parts to it, if so, buy it. I personally don't like HL2 that much and I got bored with TF2 after one or two games. Portal rocked though. I'd rent and if you enjoy it, buy it. 5 games is only a great deal if you like them.

I was there, were you :P . It was amazing. The Sugar Bowl or the Georgia/Florida game. I was at the Georgia Florida game, only one I could make it to all year. I wanted to go the Auburn game and see the blackout, but we couldn't get tickets. You a Georgia fan?

What exactly is Prestige, anyways? Is it, like, a glitch, or is it something that automatically happens? Do you get any benefits from it? Sorry for the question spamming, but I want to know what it is. :XD: When you get to level 55, you have the option of entering prestige. Basically, you lose all the weapons and perks and go back to level 1. You get to keep your stats and you get a new, cooler looking badge every time you go through it. You can do it a max of 10 times. It's there if you're bored of being 55, but I'm starting to think just getting to 55 the first time will take a while. I can't even imagine how people go through the thing 10 times.

Glad to see some more college football fans on here. We beat the Gators as well. Michigan really surprised me the way they played. I thought the SEC would win all their games besides Ark-Mizzou. Well if LSU wins(like they will), then it will be almost true. How bout them Dawgs and their sUGAr bowl BEATDOWN? :XD:

Yes it's possible. You know, hundreds of thousands of people have. Personally, I haven't "quit." I went about three months without playing then decided I wanted to play again. I got on about an hour for about 3 days in a row, and now have been back off it for a little over a week. Maybe I'm gone for good, maybe I'll log back on tomorrow. With the direction RS is going, I don't ever see myself becoming a serious player like I once was though.

5) NCAA Football 08 -Yes, A sports game. I don't care. I know it didn't win any awards and the gameplay isn't as great as Madden. I don't care though, I love leading the Dawgs in a dynasty. 4) Guitar Hero 3 -GH3 with the next-gen feel. Always a blast, took me well over a month to complete the game on expert, and it felt great to be done with it. 3) Halo 3 -I still haven't gone past the first mission despite having the game since day 1, but the online is great. 2) Call of Duty 4 -I got it for the online, and the gameplay is amazing. It's intense, and its a blast trying to get that next level for that perk that will change the game. 1) Bioshock -I rented it and was through in about 4 days, but it was possibly the best gaming experience I've had. Amazing story and gameplay.

I bet a lot of people with multiple accounts(high level main with one or two pures) canceled the pures memberships. This won't show up on the players online, but will surely cut Jagex's profits.

Dead Silence? What does that do? Is it like UAV Jammer, or a Silencer on your weapons? You don't make noise running or walking. Not sure if that means you don't show up on mini map though.

They made f2p merchants lose millions during the first swap. It's an incentive to get members when a newer f2p'er realizes they would be getting 5x the money ess mining by being a member.

Gaming is not always about graphics. The Wii has the worst graphics out of all three, and it is clearly winning the next-gen war. I agree that the PS3 has a bright future, but you can't say the 360 doesn't.
