  1. The hard drive is pretty useless without many good games to save on it. PS3 will most likely finish dead last, 360 second, and the Wii will win.

Pics for proof pl0x? mmm....alliteration.... I still play games on our projection tv, but it can burn in if you leave a still image on the screen long enough(tv logos, black bars on the side of a widescreen when you're watching a standard channel, health meters on video games etc.) While playing ps2/360 has never hurt my tv, you can see the mtv hits logo(I used to watch all the time) on the corner of our tv when the screen in white.

They actually can mess up a plasma or projection tv.
  4. We have an entire thread full of gamertags. Anyway, mine is in my sig, feel free to hit me up for a game of GH3/COD4/Halo 3.

I used to play 2 and 3 quite a bit. I'd hate when I got sniped right as a match began and I'd have to sit out for like 5 minutes though.

Yeah, I missed a month and a half of soccer breaking my toe doing that. It was late and night and I was spending the night at my friends house. It was like 2 A.M and I wasn't at home, so I slept horrible, I would keep bumping my toe.
  7. Hah that's only happened to me once but occasionally I leave my phone on vibrate. Unfortunately it's so damn loud what it does I have to pray the class isn't silent. More often than not though, I get yelled at for texting in class. I actually had a friend take my phone while it was laying on the bleachers while I was playing basketball, turn it on full volume and put an awful ring tone, and then call me during the next class. :x I get dress code stuff all the time, got in a lame fight in middle school, I got taken to the principal's office once for bullying(I didn't do anything, I got let off the hook), and other little stuff now and then. The funniest one looking back on was when I called a girl a lesbian in 3rd grade not knowing the meaning. I got taken to the principal's office and I couldn't even explain what it meant. :wall:
  8. I think it's legal.
  9. Lol at the irony.
  10. I need to join the "Don't like gay marriage? Then don't get one and STFU!" group. Exactly my opinions on the issue. People in Georgia think I'm crazy when I approve it, but I see nothing wrong with it. The best they can come up with is the Bible, and even though I'm a Christian, there is supposed to be separation between church and state.
  11. I love Family Guy, probably my favorite cartoon. Family Guy > South Park > Simpsons > Futurama > poop > King of the Hill
  12. Are you kidding? SM4 is amazing. The third one is the best though. I think I saw National Treasure 2 last.
  13. I don't like most of the songs in it. The props is really the only game I find funny any more.
  14. I used to watch this show all the time. I'll still watch it occasionally. Band nerds and the secret box are the best ones. "Does anyone here play an instrument?" "Is mayonnaise an instrument?"
  15. Not a huge regret, but I agree on that one. I wish I had learned to play the guitar when I was much younger. 16 just seems like an awkward age to start. I'll learn after I get done with school though.

Went to school, came home an hour early because I had study hall last period, played about two hours of COD4, and went to get dinner. Boring day tbh.
  17. Hah, the video game board here is like 95% 360 or Wii. I wouldn't expect a huge reply. But it does look like a good game though.
  18. It really depends on the distance you are away from the TV and the size. Also if you have everything set up correctly. Some people will buy an HDTV, sign up for HD cable channels, and then hook up the box to the TV with A/V cables, making the entire thing useless to have in HD. If everything is right though there is a noticeable difference between SD and HD. True, but I think DVD's will stay for quite a while. There are a lot of movie watchers who can't afford to upgrade to HD. This could involve buying a TV costing well over $1000 along with a PS3/Blu-ray player. And I know movie sales are huge, but I have probably only purchased 5 movies in the last 5 years. I'll just rent it if I really want to see it.
  19. Sadly, those of us in high school have multiple commitments - i.e., school, mass homework, extracurriculars, and most importantly girls. Add all the crap we have to do together and subtract it from our total waking hours and you have our free time. You're sophmores. That's technically and without a doubt the most worthless year, even more worthless than senior year. Start Junior year, then talk. That is, if you even find time to breathe. It's not that bad, I'm a junior taking AP US History and AP Biology, I play soccer, hang out with friends a lot, and still have plenty of free time.
  20. You lost to South Carolina who didn't even make a bowl... Auburn is my team but I think LSU and Georgia are pretty evenly matched. It would all depend on which team was healthier and which team showed up to play that particular day between the two of them. I think we can all agree that both those teams could beat the crud out of any Big 10 team. I don't want to hear about unfair after what happened with Auburn in '04. Instead of attacking LSU you should be attacking the screwed up system we have that lets an undefeated SEC champion get left out of the National Championship game. I know, that loss was horrible. I didn't mean that Kentucky was awful by putting it in caps, I was just correcting the LSU fan who thought they lost to Tennessee. Yeah, the 04 Auburn incident was terrible. At least the SEC is 1-2 in the polls, it sucks being so close without winning though.
  21. Georgia did not win their division, let alone their conference...end of story. Even though they have a strong conference, if they're not the strongest one from it..then they don't belong there. just the luck of the draw between which conference you're from i suppose. Except for the fact that LSU and Georgia had the same records. Looking at it statistically, Georgia STILL should have gone because their losses were over 6 weeks ago whilst LSU's were fairly recent. Yeah, that's why mizzou went back. Furthermore, LSU lost to unranked teams! Georgia proved they should be there by DESTROYING Hawaii, believe me I was there. Still, we should have at least played USC or something . Oh yeah and OSU had a soft schedule... All that being said: LSU: 31 OSU: 21 Lol? From what I saw it didn't take much to DESTROY Hawaii. They were overrated and severely mismatched. Sure they went undefeated, but that just shows how weak their devisions are. And I am sorry, but with both USC and LSU loosing 2 games, the point still stands, WE LOST IN TRIPLE OVERTIME. "Omg you lost to Arkansas and Tennessee" Um, didn't both Arkansas and Tennessee go to bowls? Being the Cotton and Outback (? Not sure). USC lost to Stanford, at home, not even in overtime, it was a straight loss, then they lost to Oregon, which was also, a straight loss. And seriously, a win is a win  Granted OSU has a great defense, so the game won't be a blowout. But the fact still stands, LSU has the advantage, and will win. The only way I even see OSU standing a chance is if they keep it close, and pull it into triple overtime. 24-21 -> LSU Nuff said  I love ya and all aquq, but you really don't seem like you're that big of a fan. You lost to Arkansas and KENTUCKY who went to the Gaylord Hotels Music City bowl. To be honest, we had the same number of conference loses. You just played in the easier devision. But if we had beaten USC or UT, we would have gone. So it's only our faults. ESPN predicts us preseason number 1 though, so an early ranking won't keep us out next year.
  22. No clue on top 20 Rock Band GH 2/3 Orange Box Gears of War Bioshock Halo 3 Call of Duty 4 Mass Effect NCAA Football 08 Madden 08 skate. Rainbow 6: Vegas Ace Combat 6 I'm really out, sure I'm leaving out some good ones.
  23. I'd go with American/French Revolution.
  24. Yeah haha, Georgia and USC would wipe the floor with both of the teams that made it. LSU better be glad Tennessee faced them in the SECCG rather than Georgia. It could have gotten ugly. LSU jumps up FIVE spots in one week all because of ESPN's love affair with Les Miles. I hope it winds up to be more exciting than the Sugar or Rose Bowl.
  25. Only going to put on 360, don't wanna go back to Genesis/N64/Gamecube/PS2. Bioshock Guitar Hero 3(expert) Portal Almost done with COD4. Still haven't beaten first mission on Halo despite having it since the day it came out. :-w
