Thanks, that's great advice and exactly what I was looking for. Much better advice, thanks Adamskii! Off to the old Blue Dragons then. What is the best place to kill Blues. I'm guessing either Taverly Dungeon or Heroes Guild?

I actually want to know where I can use it to help break even with the degrading costs, I know how good they are already.

Well, I've now got one. Is there a place where I can use it to break even with the degrading costs? I was thinking of Blue Dragons but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks. :D
  4. To get in, no requirements. To buy from Martin or play the minigame you need 50 thieving and 50 agility. You can use the bank and fire with no requirements.
  5. Nevermind, I figured it out, feel free to lock this then.
  6. I don't know how the hell to work the still. I've already wasted a load of coal and I can't get the bloody thing to go. I've read two guides but it makes no sense on how to do it. Please help fast!!
  7. In a way you are sort of saying that the community is bad, especially by posting this. But, as I said on mario_sunny's thread, the community is bad. The RuneScape in game community has been on the decline since I started playing about 3 and a half years ago. The "Miniclip Revolution" gave us no help, this merely bought in idiots by the shipload. Also, the "Pure Revolution" has also degraded the community with their arrogance and downright rudeness. That said, there are still some great people playing Runescape. The more secluded areas seem to be the best spots to find new friends. I've met some great people on Runescape that I love to joke or chat with. The community may be sliding, but there are still great people playing this great game, you just have to look for them.
  8. No, I don't know why you bother doing that, it'd be so dam slow. You can make more money than doing that, just find a world and sell them all.
  9. Yes, but I've sent messages to several RS mods, and they say that the rewards have a larger chance of being rune items (not god or 3rd age or whatever) when finishing a clue scroll dropped by a lower levelled monster, such as cyclops or ankous. But if someone could post what they got from an ankou clue, it might aid me in whether I should spend a few hrs on the clue and buying Uri's stupid random items. Player mods or Jagex mods? Player mods aren't always right, while jagex mods... are, I guess, heh. :P And I thought it didn't matter what dropped the clue, only what level it was. :| Jagex mods aren't always right. Many times the mods have been wrong. I can tell you now, the level doesn't matter. I got a lvl 2 clue off a middle leveled monster and got a double ele clue and I've got lvl 2's off the top end lvl 2 dropping monster and only gotten a few addy items. It is all random.
  10. In my opinion, a sad family all around. The kid hasn't obviously heard of a thing called self-control. Secondly, the parents are shockers. Don't just sit there, cut the cable, block the site, whatever...They are making it sound like the game is some hardcore drug. It isn't. It's a game. You can easily stop yourself from playing. There are some sad people in this world... Sadly, it's articles like this that give games a bad name. The media have been using video games as scapegoats for years.
  11. Got this a few weeks ago. I was so happy when I got it, EASILY my best clue reward ever, blitzes my previous best of god pages. Had to pay 50k for those chaps, it was an emote clue to finish up.
  12. I would have to agree the community is degrading, but it isn't just the new members who are causing it. I often don't post much in General Discussion/Old P2P, I stick to Help and Advice. Now I'm not having a go at all of you, but some of our "older" members (joined for longer) are contributing to the degrade just as much as newer members. Some of these feel they need to get on and flame every single topic there is. Even those with legitimate discussion get flamed by these people. These people really get me annoyed. Why bother using these forums if all you ever do is be an old cow and flame everything people say and then turn around and post random crap that has nothing to do with topics (albeit flame). As many a mod has said, "See spam, don't reply to it, report it". Listen to this advice. If you see a pointless/spammy topic, don't just get on your soapbox at about how pointless these threads are and start flaming. Just report the thread and let the mods take care of it. Like I said, I'm not having a go at everyone, and I agree wholeheartedly what you have said mario_sunny. You, in my opinion, are the kind of people we need more of in this forum. You post, well thought out and well written posts that make sense. A good topic written by someone with poor grammar and "1337 speak" is just as bad as a pointless topic. I won't read a topic when I can't understand the message people are trying to get across. One solution is this, some of you should post a "legitimate discussion". If you see so many poor threads, create some good and well thought out posts and leave the poorly written ones alone. I think Latinoking's discussion on the KBD was good, and we had people flaming the topic saying it was more pointless spam when it IS a good discussion. I will say this, if you want a good discussion, head to the Debate Club. I sometimes go there and there are some dam good topics there to have a debate on. In my opinion, this community will only get better if the older members take the reins and start posting good, legitimate topics. Simply sitting here complaining will do nothing at all.
  13. You walk in with a bowl and you fill it with tears from the blue streams, DON'T GET THE GREEN. Your time in there depends on your QP, the more QP, the longer you get. I *think* 1 tear = 80xp but I could be wrong on that.
  14. I'd say since you were gone, she put them in the bank for you.
  15. Excellent, thanks for the quick reply, I appreciate it. :)
  16. I want to head to the Slayer Tower to kill some Bloodvelds. If I use the STEPS, (not the agility [bleep]e climbs), will I need the nosepeg (to avoid Abberant Specters) to get to the Bloodvelds?
  17. Glad to help :D
  18. Can't see why not. Just Right Click your picture in the browser, and click Save Image or something similar. Go to your favourite upload site, and find the picture on your hard drive. Then upload it, copy the tags and paste them in your post, and you have your image.
  19. You forget; the post author said he was using a Mud Staff, which lets you autocast curses. Technically, he could sit there and watch it cast on monsters for six hours and have to click hardly at all. You are EXTREMELY misinfromed. A mud staff, nor any staff, will autocast curse, or any of those stat reducing spells. If they autocasted, more people would do it.
  20. My advice, level them all. Fletching is a useful cash maker, herblore cash maker also, but it is also handy to be able to make the potions you need over buying them. Crafting is also useful, good cash if you kill dragons, craft their hides and alch. Range is also incredibly useful, opens up more monsters for you and makes slayer much easier.
  21. Awesome, thanks for all the replies. Looks like I'll have to do Regicide and Roving Elves after I get 70 Ranged.
  22. I may be wrong, but I don't think that will work. With the speed of the halberd, I think it is possible for people (autos) to take your dragon before you attack again. Like I said, I may be wrong here. Otherwise, it's worth a shot to halberd I guess, but the kills will be slow with 50 attack and str.
  23. Ok thanks, both for the advice and the quick reply. :) Still looking for my opinions too. You can never have enough.
  24. At your level - no. It just isn't viable for you. The dragons will hit too much on you and being wildy, it's a bit of a trip if you can only kill a few before you have to go back. I recommend you train up a little before you attempt dragons. Sure, you can kill a few, just not enough to be worth your time.
  25. Well, I am getting 70 Range (68 right now) and I was just wondering, with the update of crossbows, are crystal bows still worth using? I've got a list of things here, just say Yes or No to whether the Crystal Bow is still worthwhile for that thing and if possible, a comment or personal experience would be nice too. CW - ? Training - ? Slayer - ? PC - ? Day to day combat - ? Thanks. :D
