  1. He only has 66 slayer... As many have mentioned, PC is ok, Bandits are good if you have Guthans, Experiments and Rock Crabs can be good, but boring, you will rip through them though.
  2. Quality Australian Broadband. Gotta love it. This is the best Broadband I can get in my state, you can only get ADSL2+ (24Mbs) if you live within 5km of the CBD. -.-
  3. Nope don't have an ATI control panel. Since this is just onboard graphics on a laptop and not a proper card I wouldn't expect that kind of thing anyway. Well I'd think it would still be on an onboard. I'm kind of lost if you can't actually install new drivers. Perhaps, since they aren't working anyways, you could uninstall them and reinstall? Just an idea -- really a shot in the dark though. I'll try that now. While you mention a control center, in xp i had an ATI thing in the taskbar, maybe I could look for the app on that hard drive and transfer it to Vista? EDIT: Found the ATI Control Panel and copied the folder to Vista. Vista tells me it isn't compatible with it. >.>
  4. I'd say put in about a million, get approval to 100% and top it up each day. As for what to put it on, any combo of either flax/maple, flax/coal or coal/maple will return a pretty good cash flow.

  6. Man you'd think he'd pick a better time, maybe later when no one was around, not when heaps of students were there? Good job Dojo!
  7. Well, I just installed Vista onto a partition to dual boot with XP. In XP, I had my monitor running fine at 1200x800 resolution. When I log into Vista, the max resolution I can get is 1024x768 and the display isn't as nice. I tried upgrading the drivers in Vista but it said they were up to date. Vista detects my monitor as a 'Generic PNP Monitor on Standard VGA Graphics Adapter'. XP detected it as something along the lines of ATI Radeon 200M xpress series. Is this just typical driver problems on Vista or is there something I can do to fix it? My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite A100. Thanks for any help. :)
  8. The file that was supposedly clean most likely contained a few RS helper apps, calculators, maps etc. However, once you execute the program, it drops the keylogger onto your computer and grabs passwords and the like.
  9. Mith bolts (e) were great for dragons and such (don't know if it got nerfed, but that special hit SO often.) Freesia was right, steel and iron are great. I find silver aren't bad either. They are also quite easy to make yourself as well.
  10. Yes, the Crossbow is quite good. However, because of the ammo, it isn't really worthwhile. Regular crossbows (now with the update) have become more powerful and the bolts are far easier to make. If the Hunter Crossbow used regular bolts, it would kick butt. However, unless you want to collect Kebbit bolts yourself and lose time, it isn't really viable.

Each monster has an elemental weakness except for Dessous. Damis is weak to earth spells. Fareed is weak to water spells. Kamil is weak to fire spells. Dessous has no weakness that I could tell. In order of hardness, Fareed is a pushover, Damis is quite easy, just bring prayer pots and your fine, Kamil is fairly easy, getting to him is tricky, just bring super restores and fire spell away, he dies easily. Dessous was the hardest for me, just watch his bats and protect melee and try to bring him down quick. When using spells on these bosses, it best to use bolts with chaos gauntlets, bolts or blasts. Anything above or below these spells are just a waste of money. Always take a one click teleport with you so you can quickly and easily get away. Last thing, as soon as you get a diamond, teleport and bank it! If you carry it around, you risk running into a lvl 98 stranger who uses a dds and it's special, so he is quite dangerous. Good luck! :D

A new one only costs 1k.... or 100gp so unless ur cats old and speical u can trade him in for 100 deaths at west ardy... New cats are 100gp from Gertrude. To pick your own cat and colour, just use the 'Charm' option while wearing the Ring of Charos (e). To be able to do this, you cannot already have a kitten. You can still have either an overgrown cat or just a cat and get a new kitten, but you can't have 2 kittens. Hope that helps.
  13. Got to agree with Campbell here. It has been tried and tested, the MSB is faster than a darkbow. I think in the time it takes to fire the dark bow once (which means 2 arrows shot) the MSB can fire three times (which means 3 arrows shot). With the volume of arrows you will be using to 70, you will save so much time by using the MSB because it fires much quicker. Think of it this way, in 1000 shots with the dark bow (2000 arrows fired) you could of used 3000 MSB shots (3000 arrows fired), so you are firing 1000 arrows more in the same amount of time. Good luck. :)
  14. With Melzars Maze, take the Silverlight. I believe Silverlight works as strong as a Rune Longsword on Demons, so it will make it more powerful then your addy longsword.
  15. No, your definitely not scamming. You put a price out and he responded with something near to that price. If he adds an offer that is off by a lot, then it is his fault. However, this kid is plain immature. He offered something 20K over your price and then tried to call it scamming. Just ignore idiots like this, nothing wrong can come out of it. He reports, he gets in trouble for false reporting.
  16. Yes, fire bolting with chaos gauntlets at Steel/Iron drags are a great idea. I did it a while back and got a few magic levels from it. You can do these while surfing other sites etc, but be careful and check back every few minutes. I nearly died because my antifire pots ran out, got to 6hp before quickly drinking an antifire and eating a shark. But it is good magic experience provided you have a little extra money. If you get lucky and get a dragon item, that could then fund your high alching. Good luck!
  17. With question 6, you could also mistake the little character on the far left. While he IS wearing God robes, that could easily look like prayer or a high alch, which is what it looked like to me, a high alch spell.
  18. Also, carry a one click teleport such as an Ectophial or Tele-Tablet. That way, if you are in risk of getting attacked, just click the tele and your safe. Don't worry too much, most RC pkers are dim witted and it is quite easy to escape them.
  19. Hm there isn't really much to suggest. There are lvl 30 zombies in the Stronghold of Security on the second floor, but they only have 30hp, so you will have the same situation as before. Those skeletons you mentioned in the Wilderness can also be found on Crandor near Elvarg, not sure how many are there though. Good luck.
  20. Aren't Jagex wrong there though? I could of sworn that Anchovies need a fishing level of 15 to catch and it is shrimp that need 1 fishing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure Anchovies are 15 fishing.
  21. But for solely smithing purposes, Steel is a bit better. EDIT: Woot Goblin Armour! Solely smithing it is, but the topic creator was thinking about mining the iron himself and using it, so if he is mining, iron is just that bit more efficient. And goblin armour? Huh?
  22. But iron is easier to mine then coal, so that makes up for that.
  23. Actually iron and steel are equal. An iron bar gives 25 xp when you smith it to an item. Steel bars give 37.5 xp. 50% success means you get 12.5 xp per ore. Steel bars need 2 coal and 1 iron which equals 12.5 xp per ore. So either way, it's about the same. I might be wrong with that but I'm pretty sure that is right.
  24. Maybe give it to a few close friends instead of people you don't know?
  25. Yes your fine. Real world trading would be traced differently. Aside from big trades, they'd probably check to see if the person has been recently added. Being a friend, they've been on your friends list for a while so you'll be fine.
